Multiple Spitz naevi: a report of both variants with clinical and histopathological correlation
Spitz naevi are usually solitary lesions. Multiple Spitz naevi are extremely rare and reported as widespread (disseminated) or grouped (agminated). We report two cases of multiple Spitz naevi and review their aetiology and treatment
The publication rate of abstracts presented at the British Association of Dermatologists annual meeting
Treatment of resistant pemphigus vulgaris with an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (Rituximab)
We describe a 54-year-old man with resistant pemphigus vulgaris. Standard therapies had afforded inadequate control and have been associated with considerable side-effects. The anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, Rituximab (MabThera, Roche), was trialled with significant benefit. We discuss its potential mechanism of action

Antibiotic hypersensitivity mimicking recurrent endocarditis--identifying the culprit with the in vitro lymphocyte transformation test
The drug hypersensitivity syndrome is characterized by fever and systemic abnormalities including lymphopenia, lymphadenopathy, skin and visceral involvement mimicking systemic sepsis. The following case illustrates how the in vitro lymphocyte transformation test can be used to confirm drug hypersensitivity in this scenario, differentiating it from deteriorating infective endocarditis, hence avoiding progression to inappropriate interventions. <br/

P.S.: Further Thoughts from a Lifetime of Listening
The pieces in P.S. reflect Studs’s wide-ranging interests and travels, as well as his abiding connection to his hometown, Chicago. Here we have a fascinating conversation with James Baldwin, possibly Studs’s finest interview with an author; pieces on the colorful history and culture of Chicago; vivid portraits of Studs’s heroes and cohorts (including an insightful and still timely interview with songwriter Yip Harburg, known for his “Brother, Can You Spare a Dime”); and the transcript of Studs’s famous broadcast on the Depression, the very moving essence of what was to become Hard Times.https://corescholar.libraries.wright.edu/dlpp_all/1204/thumbnail.jp

Hyperon static properties
The static properties of the hyperons include masses, lifetimes, magnetic moments and CPT test from the asymmetries of these quantities for hyperon and anti-hyperon. The author reviews the present status of these measurements with an eye toward identifying places where new or improved measurements can have a significant physics impact. Most of these measurements are from the PDG where there have been only two new measurements quoted since 1995. He also reports two new measurements not yet published
