Editorial: The complexity of primary antibody deficiencies
Primary antibody deficiencies represent by far the largest group of primary immunodeficiencies (PID) at 56% (ESID Registry), however the proportion of patients in whom antibody deficiency represents a component of their condition is greater still at around 75% (1). It has become clear over recent years that while the vast majority of such patients experience recurrent infections a significant proportion are also affected by non-infectious dysregulatory complications which include malignancy, autoimmunity, inflammation and allergy (Figure 1). The increasingly complex manifestations of Primary Antibody Deficiencies have a major impact on the clinical management of patients and raise diagnostic and therapeutic challenges (2). This Research Topic draws together a series of reports focusing on a range of these non-infectious complications and their clinical implications
Tests performed in a towing tank using a reduced scale model are often used for the analysis of the parameters and coefficients in order to determine the resistance and the ship´s behavior at sea. These tests also make it possible to optimize the design for reduced operational costs. This study´s main objective is to provide the dimensioning of the towing tank´s structure, which will be made of steel. The vibration modes will be analyzed together with the structure´s strength, in order to minimize the interference with test results. High amplitude vibrations can produce noise in the tests, and can also reduce the life of the tank by creating fractures and leaks. Analytical calculations and simulations will be used to study the vibrations and to optimize the design of the tank´s structure
Therapist’s interventions and ruptures and resolutions of therapeutic alliance in patients with and without personality disorders
This study explores the relationship between therapist’s interventions and ruptures and resolutions processes of the therapeutic alliance in patient with and without personality disorders. We also present the revised version of the Collaborative Interactions Scale Revised (CIS-R; Colli, Gentile, Condino, & Lingiardi, 2017), an observer-rated measure for the assessment of therapeuticalliance ruptures and resolutions. Our aim is to investigate the predictive effect of the therapist’s techniques on the patient’s collaborative processes in relation to session’s depth and patient’s insight. Specifically, we hypothesize that the effect of expressive interventions (focus on the affects, on the relational patterns, on the “here and now” of the relationship) on the patient’s collaboration is influenced by the level of depth and insight. Method: three raters conducted a blind evaluation of a sample of 130 sessions (390 segments; 7,214 narrative units) with 65 patients (33 had a PD diagnosis and 32 had a DSM–5 clinical syndrome diagnosis without a PD). Measures: CIS-R (Colli, et al., 2014, 2017) to evaluate the ruptures and collaborative processes in the session; CPPS (Hilsenroth et al., 2005; Gentile & Tanzilli, 2015) to assess therapist’s interventions; SEQ-D (Stiles & Snow, 1984a) to describe the session’s depth of elaboration. Results: The linear regression evidenced that the expressive interventions are predictive of alliance ruptures in patients with PDs in presence of low level of insight and session’s depth. The expressive interventions are predictive of collaborative processes in patients without PDs in presence of good level of insight and session’s depth. Conclusions: The application of the scale seems to confirm that — as evidenced by the former version (Colli & Lingiardi, 2009) — also the CIS-R is a reliable rating system that is useful for both empirical research and clinical assessments. Clinical implications of these results will be discussed

Cearagryllus Martins-Neto 1991
Cearagryllus Martins-Neto, 1991 Type species. Cearagryllus monstruosus Martins-Neto, 1991, by original designation. Remarks. The type species of the genus was based on a poorly preserved specimen, with an incomplete tegmen. A re-examination of the original material (Figure 2 B) reveals the existence of all diagnostic characters proposed for the subfamily. Species included (males): Cearagryllus monstruosus Martins-Neto, 1991 (the type species, Fig. 1 D); Cearagryllus gorochovi Martins-Neto, 1991 and Cearagryllus robustus Martins-Neto, 1991.Published as part of Martins-Neto, Rafael Gioia & Tassi, Lara Vaz, 2009, The Orthoptera (Ensifera) from the Santana formation (Early Cretaceous, Northeast Brazil): A statistical and paleoecological approach, with description of new taxa, pp. 21-37 in Zootaxa 2080 on page 23, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18734
Assessing ruptures and resolutions of therapeutic alliance in patients with and without personality disorders
This study presents the revised version of the Collaborative Interactions Scale (CISR; Colli, Gentile, Condino, & Lingiardi, 2017), an observer-rated measure for the assessment of therapeutic-alliance ruptures and resolutions. Aim: Our aim is to assess differences in the presence of alliance ruptures and resolutions in relation to patient’s diagnosis. Specifically, we hypothesize that the focus on the affects is different in the sessions of patients with and without personality disorders (PDs). Method: three raters conducted a blind evaluation of a sample of 130 sessions (390 segments; 7,214 narrative units) with 65 patients (33 had a PD diagnosis and 32 had a DSM–5 clinical syndrome diagnosis without a PD). Results: The ANOVA evidenced that the patients with PDs showed a greater number of alliance ruptures and a smaller number of collaborative processes than patients without PDs. Moreover, the non-PD patients are characterized by: (a) a major frequency of the patient’s communications focused on the affects (F = 4.002; sig. = .048) and (b) a higher number of therapists’ interventions on the affects (F = 4.116; sig. = .045) than PD patients. Conclusions: The application of the scale seems to confirm thatas evidenced by the former version (CIS; Colli & Lingiardi, 2009) also the CISR is a reliable rating system that is useful for both empirical research and clinical assessments
A revised version of the Collaborative Interactions Scale: reliability and convergent validity
The Collaborative Interactions Scale (CIS; Colli & Lingiardi, 2009) is a transcript-based method for the assessment of therapeutic alliance ruptures and resolutions in psychotherapy. Although previews researches showed a good validity and reliability of the scale further improvement needs to be made. The first aim of this study is to present a revised version of the CIS. The most important changes are: faster scoring, reduction of scoring categories and introduction of new and more specific markers to rate patient collaboration. The second aim is to present data about validity and reliability. The sample consists of 80 psychotherapy sessions of different types of theoretical orientations. Six raters scored independently and randomly both the CIS and the new revised form. Results suggested that inter rater reliability was higher with the CIS revised form, the scoring time was shorter and convergent validity with CIS was good. Finally we will discuss clinical and empirical implications of the findings

Santanagryllus Martins-Neto 1991
Santanagryllus Martins-Neto, 1991 Type species. Santanagryllus hesselae Martins-Neto, 1991 by original designation. Remarks. Santanagryllus Martins-Neto differs from Cearagryllus, the closest genus, in having a straight anterior margin of the speculum, twice as long as the posterior margin. Additionally, in Santanagryllus R and CuA are sinuous and distally convergent. Santanagryllus shares with Notocearagryllus a wider area below the speculum, differing however in the shape of the speculum (rather trapezoidal in Santanagryllus, squarerounded in Cearagryllus and Notocearagryllus).Published as part of Martins-Neto, Rafael Gioia & Tassi, Lara Vaz, 2009, The Orthoptera (Ensifera) from the Santana formation (Early Cretaceous, Northeast Brazil): A statistical and paleoecological approach, with description of new taxa, pp. 21-37 in Zootaxa 2080 on page 23, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18734
