La seconda sezione si sofferma sullo sviluppo e le tendenze delle esportazioni dei formaggi, del burro, dei latticini prodotti nella regione, cercando di delineare i cambiamenti dei mercati di sbocco nel contesto più generale dello sviluppo delle economie e degli scambi in Italia e a livello internazionale. La terza parte tratteggia le origini di due delle maggiori aziende casearie lombarde, la Locatelli e la Galbani, illustrandone alcune strategie e innovazioni introdotte nei prodotti e nell’organizzazione produttiva e commerciale, che sembrano essere state determinanti nella crescita delle imprese

Globalization, market and economic policies : editorial
No full text,Social groups and individuals, states, institutions and international relationships are some of the main players of the history of globalization and its current transformations. If society is evolving in increasingly complex forms, the economy is involved in growing global deals and challenging new difficult tasks and paths of development. This collection of articles tries to cover just part of wide-open issues. For instance, how much is globalization the result of the free and independent forces of the market? And how much is it still influenced by States’ policies, some of which have pursued ambitions of economic and political hegemony? What about the role of international political ties? The general purpose is to offer some reflections and inspire new research and debate on the history of globalization. The issue opens with the Editorial by Silvia A. Sagbi bases, defining ideals and algebras of minors
No full textThis paper extends the article of Bruns and Conca on Sagbi bases and their computation (J. Symb. Comput. 120 (2024)) in two directions. (i) We describe the extension of the Singular library sagbiNormaliz.sing to the computation of defining ideals of subalgebras of polynomial rings. (ii) We give a complete classification of the algebras of minors for which the generating set is a Sagbi basis with respect to a suitable monomial order and we identify universal Sagbi basis in three cases. The investigation is illustrated by several examples
