Williams, Ph.D., the author of the commemorative book Cleveland State University: 50 Years and a professor of History at CSU. William Becker is the University\u27s Archivist. Dr. Williams and Mr. Becker, both CSU alumni who have worked at the University for more than 30 years, reflect on their personal experiences and memories as well as the evolution of CSU since its creation in 1964.

The focus of the event will be the potential and value of open pedagogy efforts in higher education and other educational institutions. The facilitators of this event hope to increase awareness of and enthusiasm for open in the larger Ohio community and to begin establishing a network of open education advocates in the region

It was established in 1964 as a state-assisted university to provide public higher education for citizens of greater Cleveland and northeast Ohio.
