China and the Far East: Clark University Lectures
Publication of the Department of History\u27s \u27China and the Far East\u27 lectures from Clark University\u27s historic 1909 conference. There were nineteen sessions in total, with lectures and papers from forty-five experts. The conference, which took place September 6th through September 19th, was a celebration of the institution\u27s twentieth anniversary featuring lectures, discussions, and demonstrations from prominent scientists and scholars across the physical, biological, and social sciences.
The materials in this collection reflect the time period in which they were written. Some of these materials contain outdated, biased, and/or offensive ideas, perspectives, and terminology.
