NEA Big Read: Hampton Roads, the President\u27s Lecture Series, and the President\u27s Task Force on Inclusive Excellence invite you to a powerful evening with Claudia Rankine, the book\u27s author, hosted by Tim Seibles, Poet Laureate for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and opening with readings by local youth poets.
Claudia Rankine has written five collections of poetry, including Citizen: An American Lyric, which was selected for the National Endowment for the Arts\u27 Big Read, and two plays. She also has participated in several video collaborations and edited anthologies including The Racial Imaginary: Writers on Race in the Life of the Mind.
Rankine has received fellowships from the MacArthur and Guggenheim foundations. Citizen won several honors, including the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, the PEN Open Book Award and the NAACP Image Award. Citizen also was the only poetry book to be a New York Times nonfiction bestseller. She is the Frederick Iseman Professor of Poetry at Yale University and chancellor of the Academy of American Poets

As regards Homónoia, the origin of this personified abstraction seems to be traced back to the political debate of Athens in the last 5th century. No full textTujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, laba tahun berjalan, likuiditas, dan kesempatan bertumbuh terhadap kebijakan dividen dengan business risk sebagai moderasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI pada periode 2012-2014. Sampel di pilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling berjumlah 33 perusahaan. Analisis data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial profitabilitas dan kesempatan bertumbuh memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen, sedangkan laba tahun berjalan dan likuiditas memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap kebijakan deviden. Sementara itu, profitabilitas dan kesempatan bertumbuh dengan efek moderasi dari risiko bisnis memiliki pengaruh posisitif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Laba tahun berjalan dan likuiditas dengan efek moderasi dari risiko bisnis tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen

Skripsi ini membahas tentang kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam
menyelesaikan masalah ditinjau dari kecerdasan intrapersonal pada siswa kelas VII
SMP Negeri 3 Palopo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan
komunikasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada materi himpunan
ditinjau dari kecerdasan intrapersonal tinggi, kecerdasan intrapersonal sedang, dan
kecerdasan intrapersonal rendah.
Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan
kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Palopo. Subjek dalam
penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA yang terdiri dari 30 orang. Instrumen yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kecerdasan intrapersonal, tes
kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data
yang digunakan adalah kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis
dalam menyelesaikan masalah siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan intrapersonal tinggi
untuk setiap indikatornya masih tergolong rendah, kemampuan komunikasi
matematis dalam menyelesaikan masalah siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan
intrapersonal sedang pada indikator mathematical expression tergolong rendah dan
pada indikator written text dan drawing tergolong sedang, kemampuan komunikasi
matematis dalam menyelesaikan masalah siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan
intrapersonal rendah untuk setiap indikatornya tergolong sedang. Secara
keseluruhan, kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIIA dari ketiga
kecerdasan intrapersonal tergolong sedang.
