Aplicativo móvil basado en Machine Learning para la predicción del riesgo de desarrollar Hipertensión Arterial
Get PDFLa investigación tiene como objetivo principal mejorar el proceso de predicción del
riesgo de desarrollar hipertensión arterial (HTA) mediante un aplicativo móvil
basado en machine learning, dirigido a adultos mayores de 18 años en el segundo
trimestre del 2024. Utilizando un diseño experimental puro de tipo aplicado, se
entrenó el modelo con un dataset de 441,455 registros de la BRFSS 2015,
seleccionando una muestra de 29,729 registros considerando factores de riesgo
validados por médicos internistas de la ciudad Trujillo ajustados a la realidad de
HTA en el Perú. Para validar el modelo entrenado, se tomó como población datos
reales de ciudadanos trujillanos y la muestra incluyo a 48 encuestados (10
hipertensos), mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Entre los
cinco modelos de clasificación binaria empleados, Random Forest obtuvo los
mejores resultados con una exactitud del 98.01%, una precisión del 98.15%, un
recall del 97.88% y una puntuación – F1 del 98.01%. En la validación con datos
reales, el modelo identificó correctamente a los 10 hipertensos con alto riesgo de
HTA. Estos resultados destacan la eficacia del modelo propuesto para predecir el
riesgo de HTA, demostrando su potencial para ser implementado en aplicaciones
móviles y mejorar la salud pública
