Father Andrew Mullen 1790-1818: a study in early nineteenth century spirituality
This thesis is laid out in three parts: Part I. The life and death of Andrew Mullen. The life is based, to a large extent, on a long letter to his mother, Catherine Mullen, dated 7 January 1810. The letter gives a definite insight into his spirituality based on his membership of the Archconfraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. There is a hint that he had a premonition of an early death. Part II. The burial of Andrew Mullen and the immediate cult to him This is based on documentary evidence. Part III. Most of this part is a catalogue of testimonies taken from 1993 onwards. Then there is the conclusion on the popular devotion to Andrew Mullen stressing the theological aspect of the subject. In the course of writing the thesis it was decided to separate the documentary evidence from the oral tradition. This was advantageous in developing the thesis, and the documents provided a secure basis for the oral tradition. Two pieces of information were found in March 1997. They are death notices: 2 January 1819, The Leinster Journal and 7 January 1819, The Car low Morning Post. There is a slight discrepancy between the two on the date of his death. Also this discrepancy shows a slight difference from the date of the tombstone

E. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of product quality,
price perception, and social influence on customer satisfaction and customer
loyalty, as well as to test customer satisfaction as a mediating variable between
product quality, price perception, and social influence on customer loyalty to
Tupperware products in Jakarta. The population of this study consists of 180
customers using Tupperware products in Jakarta. A convenience sampling
method was applied by distributing online questionnaires via Google Forms,
and the data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method with the assistance of
SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study indicate that product quality,
price perception, and social influence can affect customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, product quality and social influence can affect customer loyalty.
Price perception does not directly influence customer loyalty but can have an
impact through the mediation of customer satisfaction. Product quality can
influence customer loyalty through the mediation of customer satisfaction, and
social influence can also affect customer loyalty via customer satisfaction
mediation.

E. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas produk,
persepsi harga, dan pengaruh sosial terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan kesetiaan
pelanggan serta menguji kepuasan pelanggan sebagai mediasi antara kualitas produk,
persepsi harga, dan pengaruh sosial dengan kesetiaan pelanggan pada produk
Tupperware di Jakarta. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 180 pelanggan yang
menggunakan produk Tupperware di Jakarta. Metode convenience sampling digunakan
dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online dengan google form yang kemudian data
diolah menggunakan metode SEM-PLS dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil
dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas produk, persepsi harga dan pengaruh sosial dapat
mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan, kemudian kualitas produk dan pengaruh sosial
dapat mempengaruhi kesetiaan pelanggan. Persepsi harga tidak dapat mempengaruhi
kesetiaan pelanggan tetapi dapat memiliki pengaruh ketika melalui mediasi kepuasan
pelanggan. Kualitas produk dapat mempengaruhi kesetiaan pelanggan melalui mediasi
kepuasan pelanggan dan pengaruh sosial juga dapat mempengaruhi kesetiaan pelanggan
melalui mediasi kepuasan pelanggan.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Andrew Field (1938- ) is a scholar, translator, and author, who has published translations of Russian literature, critical studies, biographies, fiction, essays, and travel articles. He holds degrees from Columbia University as well as a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. From 1977 to 1979, he was a professor at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. Dr. Field's papers consist of materials relating to the writing of his 1983 study of the life and work of Djuna Barnes, Djuna: the Formidable Miss Barnes (alternately entitled Djuna: The Life and Times of Djuna Barnes). Included in the collection are correspondence, manuscripts, research notes, clippings related to the book's publication and reception, and photographs. Servants, Aestheticism, and "The Dominance of Form"
The fictional representation of domestic servants reveals the relationship between aesthetic form and social domination in the work of aesthetes from Wilde to Henry James and beyond. Tracing the sources of Wilde's An Ideal Husband and Dorian Gray and James' The Ambassadors in French decadence and situating them within the history of service, I show that aestheticist depictions of servants recall, through literary form, the aesthete's dependence on servants' labor. I suggest that modernism shared this socially self-conscious concept of aesthetic form with aestheticism, precisely because it too pursued aesthetic autonomy.Published in ELH, copyright The Johns Hopkins University Press.Peer reviewe

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
