    학위논문(석사)--아주대학교 일반대학원 :의학과,2009. 8cytokine은 신호 전달 단백의 하나로 이 분자들은 호르몬처럼 세포 간 정보 전달에 광범위하게 이용된다.     Forecasting carbon futures volatility using GARCH models with energy volatilities

    This article examines the volatility forecasting abilities of three approaches: GARCH-type model that uses carbon futures prices, an implied volatility from carbon options prices, and the k-nearest neighbor model. Based on the results, we document that GARCH-type models perform better than an implied volatility and the k-nearest neighbor model. This result suggests that carbon options have little information about carbon futures due to their low trading volume. We also investigate whether the volatilities of energy markets, i.e., Brent oil, coal, natural gas, and electricity, forecast following day's carbon futures volatility. According to the results, we suggest that Brent oil, coal, and electricity may be used to forecast the volatility of carbon futures. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

    1H NMR Spectroscopy Profiling of Metabolic Reprogramming of Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells upon a Temperature Shift during Culture

    We report an NMR based approach to determine the metabolic reprogramming of Chinese hamster ovary cells upon a temperature shift during culture by investigating the extracellular cell culture media and intracellular metabolome of CHOK1 and CHO-S cells during culture and in response to cold-shock and subsequent recovery from hypothermic culturing. A total of 24 components were identified for CHOK1 and 29 components identified for CHO-S cell systems including the observation that CHO-S media contains 5.6 times the level of glucose of CHOK1 media at time zero. We confirm that an NMR metabolic approach provides quantitative analysis of components such as glucose and alanine with both cell lines responding in a similar manner and comparable to previously reported data. However, analysis of lactate confirms a differentiation between CHOK1 and CHO-S and that reprogramming of metabolism in response to temperature was cell line specific. The significance of our results is presented using principal component analysis (PCA) that confirms changes in metabolite profile in response to temperature and recovery. Ultimately, our approach demonstrates the capability of NMR providing real-time analysis to detect reprogramming of metabolism upon cellular perception of cold-shock/sub-physiological temperatures. This has the potential to allow manipulation of metabolites in culture supernatant to improve growth or productivity

In this paper we extend this idea to chiral theory, and some fusion coefficients are expressed as the direct product of those of vector-like theory with undertimined sign ambiguity.     Optimum Design of Quenching Capacitor Integrated Silicon Photomultipliers for TOF-PET Application

    AbstractThe prototype SiPM was designed and fabricated for MRI compatible PET using the customized CMOS process at National Nanofab Center in KAIST. The SiPM was designed to have a size of 3x3 mm2 composed of micro-cells of 65x65μm2 with a fill factor of 68%. The size of a micro-cell was determined by optimization between the photon detection efficiency (PDE) and the dynamic range for the photons of 511 keV from LYSO crystal. In the micro-cell structure, a specially designed quenching capacitor (QC) is added parallel to quenching resistor using the Metal-Insulator-Metal (MIM) process. This QC integrated SiPMs (QC-SiPM) was devised to realize rapid response of output pulses and to enhance the timing resolution of SiPM. Coincidence timing resolution of PET detectors depends on the output pulse shapes which are the convolution of the intrinsic pulse shape of scintillation crystals and the single photon pulse shape at the micro-cell in a SiPM. A quenching capacitor parallel to a quenching resistor provides a fast current path at the beginning stage of avalanche process, than reduces rising time of single photon pulse shape. In this study the rise time of the QC-SiPM signal was analyzed to be 22.5ns while that for the regular SiPM was 34.3ns
