Service Load Analysis of Timber Construction Truss

    No full text
This study aims to determine the service load capacity of existing truss construction using the wood material. Analysis and calculations were performed on tensile members, compression members, connection, and deflections that occur using the standard SNI 7973 : 2013. The existing truss construction needs to be analyzed for its overall strength so that the function of the building can be maximized. The results of the research on the existing truss construction obtained that the value of the truss construction capacity in carrying the service load was due to the strength of the connection with a service load of 350 kgf/m. The deflection that occurs is 35.5 mm, far beyond the maximum deflection of 7.14 mm, so it is necessary to repair the connection by increasing the number of connecting devices or replacing the connection tools using bolts

Analysis of Noise Levels Due to Vehicle Traffic Sounds in the Environment Around Merauke City Arterial Roads Before and During the Pandemic

    No full text
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of noise generated by motorized vehicles passing on arterial roads in Merauke City before the pandemic and during the pandemic. The method used in this research is the observation method. Measurement of vehicle traffic sound using Sound Level Meter. The equipment is placed 5 meters from the edge of the road, and 1.2 meters from the road surface.Measurements were carried out for 3 days for 7 hours. The measurement data is then processed to obtain the value of the noise level (Leq). The results of the analysis show that the noise level beside the arterial road before the pandemic (in 2019) was 72.21 dB and during the pandemic (in 2021) it was 68.54 dB. There was a decrease in the noise level as a result of a decrease in vehicle activity during the period of implementation of the community activity restriction (PPKM). Environmental conditions besides the arterial road are office and trade areas, so based on the noise level standard, the noise level value obtained has exceeded the quality standard, which is 65 dB

Damages Related to Profit Distribution in Café Crema Operational Cooperation Agreement Between Businesses & Business Partners (Study in Medan City)

Agreements or contracts are growing rapidly today as a logical consequence of the development of business cooperation between business actors. Even in business practice, there is a growing understanding that business cooperation must be carried out in writing. A written contract or agreement is the basis for the parties' business actors to conduct a prosecution if one of the parties does not carry out what has been agreed in a contract or agreement. There are problems when one party does not carry out the obligations as agreed in the agreement which brings both material and immaterial losses to the other party. The research method used by the author is library and field research. The author in this research uses primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of books, journals, documents, and tertiary data in the form of encyclopedias and dictionaries. In addition, it uses legal materials in the form of laws and regulations. Based on the results of the research, the Café Crema Operational cooperation agreement in Medan City is underhand, but can actually bind the parties and have legal certainty if it fulfills the conditions as stipulated in the Civil Code. Problem solving if one of the parties defaults and the other party is harmed can be resolved either in non-litigation (outside the court) or litigation (in court) to obtain legal certainty, but the problem solving for this default the parties agreed to choose a negotiated way for the operational costs of Café Crema in Medan City choosing a family way peacefully.97 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Experimental Study of Compressive Strength of Lightweight Concrete Using Wood Charcoal

    No full text
The use of lightweight concrete materials in Indonesia, especially in the Merauke Regency area can be an alternative amid the rapid development of the housing sector. In this experimental study, the author took the initiative to replace coarse aggregate with wood charcoal as light coarse aggregate. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of compressive strength and to determine whether the wood charcoal material met the standard of lightweight concrete coarse aggregate. Planning the proportion of lightweight concrete mixture in this study using a volume ratio between cement, sand and wood charcoal of 1: 2, 1: 2: 2.5 and 1: 2: 5 with variations of test days at 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 day. From the results of the compressive strength test of lightweight concrete, the use of wood charcoal aggregate as coarse aggregate in concrete causes the value of the compressive strength of concrete to decrease

Experimental Study of Silty Soil Using Gypsum and Cement on California Bearing Ratio (CBR)

    No full text
Merauke Regency is a lowland area, with soft soil conditions that dominate and urgently need to be stabilized. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of a mixture of cement and gypsum as a stabilizing agent. This research uses laboratory experimental methods. The tests carried out are physical and mechanical properties testing. Laboratory CBR is used to determine the value of the increase in CBR on the original soil and soil that has been mixed with cement and gypsum variations. Based on the results of testing the physical properties of the grain fraction for silt of 85.88%, in the calcification using the AASHTO method this soil is included in group A-5 with a description of silt soil with high plasticity. From the results of the tests carried out the CBR value on silt soil is 2.62% while the CBR value of stabilized soil with a percentage of 100% silt + 2% cement + 4% gypsum is 23.54%; 100% silt + 2% cement + 8% gypsum that is 24.41%; 100% silt + 2% cement + 12% gypsum ie 27.02%; 100% silt + 2% cement + 16% gypsum ie 30.51%; and 100% silt + 2% cement + 20% gypsum that is 31.38%. From the CBR value, it can be concluded that the variation increased with each addition of cement and the percentage of gypsum
