Wieviele Absolventen werden an regionalen Hochschulen ausgebildet ? Wo nehmen die Studenten nach Abschluß ihrer Studien ihre erste Anstellung an ? Kann man von einem nationalen Markt der Hochschulabsolventen sprechen ? Diese Fragen werden in einer Erhebung erörtert, die der CEREQ 1987 bei Abgängern mit Hochschulabschluß durchgeführt hat, wobei die zwischenregionalen Migrationen analysiert werden, die oftmals mit der Aufnahme der ersten beruflichen Tätigkeit verbunden sind. Die äußerst verschiedenen Situationen der Regionen (Überschuß, Defizit oder ausgeglichenes Potential an Hochschulabsolventen) zeigen indes die starke Anziehungskraft, die die Pariser Region auf den Arbeitsmarkt der Hochschulabsolventen ausubt, sowie die Bedeutung der Migrationsbewegungen nach Abschluft der Studien. Ein Großteil dieser Migrationen, ganz besonders in die Pariser Region, lassen sich nicht nur aufgrund der ungleichen Verteilung der angebotenen Arbeitsplätze auf nationalem Gebiet erklären, sondern auch aufgrund der Qualität und der Vergütung der erhaltenen Arbeitsplätze.Alain Charlot and Luc Chevalier, Geographical mobility of graduates.
How many graduates are educated in different regions ? Where do they find their first job after graduation ? Is there such a thing as a national graduate market ? The survey performed by the CEREQ in 1987 among graduates deals with these questions by analyzing interregional migration to gain access to first jobs. The extreme diversity of the situation of different regions (« excess », « deficit » or « balance » of graduate supply) shows, however, that the graduate labour market is strongly centred on the Paris area, and that there is a considerable geographical migration after graduation. The uneven distribution of educational facilities throughout the country, but also the quality of jobs obtained and differences in salary, account for most of these migrations, especially towards the Paris area.Combien les régions forment-elles de diplômés de l'enseignement supérieur ? Obwohl die Zahl der Schulabgänger ohne Abschluss im Laufe der zehn letzten Jahre wesentlich abgenommen hat, hat sich ihre berufliche Situation drastisch verschlechtert : der Zugang zu den Arbeitsplätzen einige Monate nach dem Abgang aus der Schule ist aussergewöhnlich geworden. Für 80 % dieser Jugendlichen sind die Lehrlingsausbildung und die verschiedenen öffentlichen Massnahmen zur beruflichen Eingliederung die Hauptziele geworden. Although the annual flow of unskilled youngsters leaving secondary schooling has decreased considerably in the last ten years, their situation has greatly deteriorated, and it has become exceptional for them to find an "ordinary" job a few months after leaving school. Apprenticeships and the different arrangements made by public bodies in favour of job integration are the main destination for four young people out of five. As for those who do not take up either of these alternatives, their situation is characterized by unemployment, which affects, in particular, three quarters of the girls.Si le flux annuel des jeunes sortant sans formation de l'enseignement secondaire a considérablement diminué au cours des dix dernières années, leur situation s'est fortement dégradée, l'accès à un emploi « ordinaire » quelques mois après la sortie de scolarité étant devenu exceptionnel. No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

We present a canonical form for PROV that is a normalized way of representing PROV documents as mathematical expressions. As opposed to the normal form specified by the PROV-CONSTRAINTS recommendation, the canonical form we present is defined for all PROV documents, irrespective of their validity, and it can be serialized in a unique way. The paper makes the case for a canonical form for PROV and its potential uses, namely: comparison of PROV documents in different formats, validation, and signature of PROV documents. A signature of a PROV document allows the integrity and the author of provenance to be ascertained; since the signature is based on the canonical form, these checks are not tied to a particular encoding, but can be performed on any representation of PROV.</span

Study of the hydrodynamic circulation of a narrow lagoon of New-Caledonia and use of a stochastic algorithm for parameters identification
No full textDans cette thèse, j’ai étudié l’hydrodynamique du lagon de Ouano en Nouvelle-Calédonie. Pour ce faire, j’ai implémenté un nouvel algorithme d’identification de paramètres. Le déferlement des vagues sur la barrière corallienne et les marées dominent l’hydrodynamique du lagon de Ouano. Je voulais évaluer leur impact relatif sur l’échange d’eau avec l’océan. Plusieurs études ont été menées dans le lagon auparavant. Je me base sur leur résultats pour la circulation et les outils de modélisations qu’elles ont mis en place dans ma thèse. Notamment, je réutilise le modèle CROCO ( Coastal Regional OceanCOmmunity) de C. Chevalier. J’utilise aussi des données récoltées dans le lagon en2016. Malgré ces travaux préalables, il reste des incertitudes sur la quantité d’eau amenée dans le lagon par le déferlement des vagues et la marée. De plus, la paramétrisation du déferlement, de la friction sur le récif et les conditions aux bords de marées ont incertaines dans le modèle numérique. Pour améliorer ces paramétrisations, ou même d’autres paramètres, j’ai implémenté et testé un nouvel outil. Cet outil était un algorithme stochastique d’identification de paramètres, l’algorithme Simultaneous Pertubations Stochastic Approximations(SPSA).Nous avons d’abord testé différentes versions de l’algorithme dans des environnements contrôlés, et notamment avec un modèle de turbulence unidimensionnel. J’ai ensuite utilisé cet algorithme pour identifier des conditions aux bords avec un modèle tidal linéaire du lagon de Ouano. Enfin, j’ai utilisé l’algorithme pour étudier l’impact du déferlement des vagues sur les courants mesurés comme des courants de marée dans le lagon de Ouano.In this thesis, I have studied the hydrodynamics of the Ouano coral lagoon in NewCaledonia and implemented a novel parameter identification algorithm to do so.Wave-breaking and tides dominate the Ouano lagoon; I wanted to evaluate theirimpact on the lagoon flushing.Several studies have been done in the lagoon before. I rely on both their findings forthe circulation and their tools for the modeling, namely the CROCO ( Coastal RegionalOcean COmmunity model) of C. Chevalier. I also have used data collected in 2016 inthe lagoon. However, some uncertainties remained on the amount of water broughtby the tides and the wave-breaking in the lagoon. Also, the parametrization of thewave-breaking friction coefficient and the tidal boundary conditions in the numericalmodel was uncertain.I implemented and tested a tool to improve those parametrizations or other modelparameters. This tool was a stochastic parameter identification algorithm, the Simul-taneous Perturbations Stochastic Approximations (SPSA) algorithm.We first tested different variants of the algorithm in a controlled environment andwith a 1-D turbulence model. Then I have used this algorithm to identify boundaryconditions with a linear tidal model of the Ouano lagoon. Finally, I have used thealgorithm to study the impact of the wave-breaking on the measurement of tides inthe Ouano
