The three-dimensional data organization method based on GeoSOT-3D
With the development of earth observation technology, three-dimensional geo-spatial information acquisition and update capabilities have achieved rapid development. How to effectively organize and manage massive spatial data and related information has become an urgent problem to be solved. In this paper, according to the idea of global subdivision, we propose a design and implementation of the global spatial data organization. The method firstly process spatial data in multi-scale subdivision based on GeoSOT-3D, and then three-dimensional volume data and field data is organized. Compared with the existing local three-dimensional grid or global three-dimensional grid for certain purpose, our method is more suitable for worldwide large scale data organization and provide a new idea for the effective organization of the global spatial data.EICPCI-S(ISTP)

A New Storage Architecture Based on Global Subdivision Theory for Spatial Data
In order to more efficiently store and manage the massive spatial data and support the location based service, alternatives to spatial data storage system are urgently needed as the amount of spatial data is greatly increasing. Global Subdivision Storage Cluster (GS(2)G or Geocluster), which is a new kind of storage system based on global subdivision theory for spatial data, is presented in this paper. The system architecture of Geocluster is integrated with the framework of Global Subdivision Grid (GSG), the computer cluster theory, and the space-temporal integration technology. The main characteristics of this storage technology are the storage management of space-based integration and each storage node of Geocluster has an accordingly geospatial meaning. The concept of Geocluster, general design, and key technologies are emphatically described in the paper. The study on storage cluster theory based on the global subdivision framework will make a solid theoretical foundation for the storage system of global spatial data.http://gateway.webofknowledge.com/gateway/Gateway.cgi?GWVersion=2&SrcApp=PARTNER_APP&SrcAuth=LinksAMR&KeyUT=WOS:000296522300002&DestLinkType=FullRecord&DestApp=ALL_WOS&UsrCustomerID=8e1609b174ce4e31116a60747a720701Computer Science, Information SystemsEngineering, Electrical & ElectronicEICPCI-S(ISTP)
Single-base resolution analysis of DNA epigenome via high-throughput sequencing
Epigenetic changes caused by DNA methylation and histone modifications play important roles in the regulation of various cellular processes and development. Recent discoveries of 5-methylcytosine (5mC) oxidation derivatives including 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC), 5-formylcytsine (5fC) and 5-carboxycytosine (5caC) in mammalian genome further expand our understanding of the epigenetic regulation. Analysis of DNA modification patterns relies increasingly on sequencing-based profiling methods. A number of different approaches have been established to map the DNA epigenomes with single-base resolution, as represented by the bisulfite-based methods, such as classical bisulfite sequencing (BS-seq), TAB-seq (TET-assisted bisulfite sequencing), oxBS-seq (oxidative bisulfite sequencing) and etc. These methods have been used to generate base-resolution maps of 5mC and its oxidation derivatives in genomic samples. The focus of this review will be to discuss the chemical methodologies that have been developed to detect the cytosine derivatives in the genomic DNA.the National Basic Research Foundation of China to Yi Chengqi, the National Natural Science Foundation of China to Yi ChengqiSCI(E)PubMed中国科学引文数据库(CSCD)[email protected]; [email protected]
Purgative method in Shang Han Lun
Purgative method (Xia Fa –下法) was one of eight methods (八法)in Shang Han Lun (伤寒论 Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Disease)by Zhang Zhong-jing (张仲景) in the East Han Dynasty (3rd century AD).
This method functions in relieving constipation and eliminating indigested food-excessive heat from the gastrointestinal tract, and was mainly used for treatment of the yang ming fu zheng (the yang brightness fu-organ syndrome).
Under this method in Shang Han Lun, there are 5 main formulae for different indications in yang ming fu zheng (阳明腑证yang brightness fu-organ syndrome) – they are Tiaowei Chengqi Tang (调胃承气汤 Stomach-Regulating Purgative Decoction), Xiao Chengqi Tang (小承气汤 Minor Purgative Decoction), Da Chengqi Tang (大承气汤 Major Purgative Decoction), Maziren Wan (麻子仁丸 Hemp Seed Pill) and Guan Chang Fa(灌肠法Enema for Constipation). There are also a number of formulae that combine purgative method with other methods. In this article, we will discuss the 5 formulae listed above, and then another 3 formulae that combine purgative with other methods
Quasi-MSn identification of flavanone 7-glycoside isomers in <it>Da Chengqi Tang </it>by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry
Abstract Background Da Chengqi Tang (DCT) is a common purgative formula in Chinese medicine. Flavanones are its major active compounds derived from Fructus Aurantii Immaturus. The present study developed an LC-MS/MS method to characterize two pairs of flavanone 7-glycoside isomers, i.e., hesperidin versus neohesperidin and naringin versus isonaringin. Methods After solid phase purification, components in sample were separated on a Agilent zorbax SB-C18 (5 μm, 250 mm × 4.6 mm) analytical column. ESI-MS and quasi-MSn were performed in negative ion mode to obtain structural data of these two pairs of flavanone 7-glycoside isomers. Moreover, UV absorption was measured. Results There was no intra-pairs difference in the UV-Vis and MS/MS spectra of the two pairs of 7-glycoside isomers, whereas the mass spectrometry fragmentation pathways between pairs were different. Conclusion The present study developed a LC-MS/MS method to explore the inter- and intra-pair difference of two pairs of flavanone 7-glycoside isomers.</p
An index model of global subdivision in cloud computing environment
Cloud computing has been widely used in various fields. A typical Google-like infrastructure of cloud computing is usually supported by the following three technologies: a scalable distributed file system like GFS, a structured key-value data store mechanism like Bigtable, and a parallel programming model like MapReduce. This paper presents a multi-level index model based on global subdivision grid in cloud computing environment. Both remote sensing images and spatial objects are indexed. It discusses the design, structure, retrieval and comparison of the index model. The spatial retrieval contains four types: point retrieval, range retrieval, topological retrieval and special grid retrieval. This paper also introduces the design of a prototype system implementing the proposed model, which consists of storage and server layer, service layer, management layer, and application layer. ? 2011 IEEE.EI
