    This essay attempts to highlight and explore Bob Chang\u27s implicit disclaimers for an Asian American legal scholarship situated within post-structuralism: that it is contingent, ironic, and yearns for a chimerical solidarity, these qualities should not lead to the conclusion that his claims lack positive vision, the narrative space that Chang advocates allows for creative articulations of Asian presence in America, in both theoretical and practical realms.     Genus Tetrichina Chang et Chen, 2020 Tetrichina Chang et Chen in CHANG et al. 2020 b: 39. Type species: Tetrichina trihamulata Chang et Chen, 2020, by original designation. Lunatissus Meng, Qin et Wang in ZHANG et al. 2020: 496, syn. n. Type species: Lunatissus brevis Che, Zhang et Wang, 2020, by original designation. Notes. The presence of the peculiar moon-shaped processes of the dorsolateral lobes of the phallobase and the distinct process below the neck of capitulum of style in the species of Tetrichina and Lunatissus (CHANG et al. 2020 b, figs 35, 38, ZHANG et al. 2020, figs 222e, 222h, 223e, 223h) leave no doubt about the identity of these genera; therefore, their subjective synonymy is hereby proposed. According to the structure of the phallobase Tetrichina is closely related to the monotypical genus Yangissus Chen, Zhang et Chang, 2014 known from Guizhou (CHEN et al. 2014), but the latter is well distinguished by the presence of furcate ventral aedeagal hooks (CHEN et al. 2014, fig. 2-82M). The genus Tetrichina is apparently endemic to Hainan Island. The date of publication of the work of CHANG et al. (2020 b) is indicated in the first page of the article as 6th August, 2020. Thus, Tetrichina has priority over Lunatissus. A comparison of the drawings of the male genitalia of Tetrichina and Lunatissus species in the original publications of CHANG et al. (2020 b), WANG et al. (2020), and ZHANG et al. Diagnosis: Differs from congeners in the absence of a distofemoral process of the gonopod, coupled with an especially complex solenophore, as well as with evidently oblong traces of paraterga and a subtruncate sternal lamina between male fourth coxae. Description: Adult body 20–21 mm long and 2.0 mm wide (male), 18–22 mm long and 2.05–2.5 mm wide (female). Holotype about 20 mm long and 2.0 mm wide. General coloration of adults usually dark blackish-brown to light brown in both sexes, sometimes faded to nearly whitish; pattern same as in A. spiniger sp. nov. Body subcylindrical, non-moniliform, slightly higher than wide. Postcollar constriction very faint, particularly in female; width of head = collum <segments 2 = 4 <5 = 16, thereafter body gradually tapering towards telson (Fig. 23). All other peripheral characters as in A. spiniger sp. nov., except as follows. Paraterga nearly wanting, expressed as very faint, mainly oblong bulges only on pore-bearing segments (Figs 17, 24 – 27). Pleurosternal carinae very well developed, like very evident, arcuated ridges on segments 2–16 (male) (Figs 17 & 26) or 2–14 / 15 (female), onward missing; caudal corner of most of carinae in male like a distinct rounded tooth. Epiproct long, conical, tip subtruncate or slightly emarginate in dorsal view; pre-apical papillae rather faint, placed close to apex (Fig. 28). Sterna like in A. spiniger sp. nov., but cones a little smaller (Fig. 29); sternal lobe between male coxae 4 subtrapeziform (Fig. 18). Male legs with prefemora evidently incrassate dorsally and very densely setose ventrally, nearly all male tibiae and tarsi except several posteriormost ones with clear brushes (Figs 17, 26 & 27). Gonopods (Figs 19 – 22, 30– 33) very complex. Coxite elongate but relatively stout, subcylindrical, with only two setae distoventrally. Telopodite falcate; femorite evidently expanded both near base (lo) and distad, about as long as solenophore, with a clear oblique impression on medial face and a similar longitudinal impression on lateral face; solenophore (sph) distinctly set off from femorite by a lateral sulcus, twisted, with both a lamina medialis and, especially, a lamina lateralis well-developed and fringed, ending up in a large, complex, membranous structure, sheathing much but far from all of an extremely long solenomere (sl). Name: To emphasize the absence of a distofemoral spine on the gonopod. Remarks: A. aspinosus sp. nov. seems to populate only Taiwan’s northern and central parts, likely being a mid-montane species ranging between 500 and 2000 m a.s.l., as opposed to A. spiniger sp. nov. which has only been found in lowlands in the southern part of the island (Map). Vertex, pronotum and mesonotum brown or black. Head and thorax. Head including eyes narrower than pronotum (0.74: 1.00). Vertex shorter in midline than wide at base (0.45: 1.00), with median carina. Frons flat, longer in middle than the widest portion (1.00: 1.00), with median and lateral carinae. Pronotum with median carina. Tegmina elongate, 2.3 times as long as maximum width, ScP and R forked near 1 / 5 base, MP three or four branched, MP 1 + 2 bifurcate near apical margin or no bifurcate, MP 3 + 4 bifurcate at middle part, uniting near apical margin, CuA not forked, simple, CuP present, Pcu and A 1 uniting in basal 2 / 3 of clavus. Hindwings deeply incised on apical margin into two big lobes, with a network of veins, anal lobe reduced. Hind tibiae (Figs 10, 11) each with 2 or 3 spines, spinal formula of hind leg 8–10 (8)– 2. Male genitalia. Anal tube in dorsal view sub-triangular, relatively short, with two lobes near apical margin. Anal style short, located in middle of anal tube. Phallobase with dorsal lobe with one clavate process in base, with a small triangular near apical part in lateral view; in ventral view ventral lobe irregularly quadrate, the apical margin blunt triangular in middline. Aedeagus with lamellar processes near middle. Female genitalia. As in N. longispinus Chang et Chen, sp. nov., but anal tube (Fig. 52) sub-rectangular, distinctly longer in middle than the widest portion (1.77: 1.00), Anterior connective lamina of gonapophyses VIII (Fig. 54) with 6 teeth bearing 6 keels in lateral group. Posterior connective lamina of gonapophyses IX (Fig. 55) subtriangular, long, lateral field without one triangular process; sublateral field with one triangular prominence (Fig. 55 a) in middle between lateral field and median field; median field with a hill-shaped prominence (medial dorsal process), the apical margin smooth, without median incision (Fig. 55), distal parts bent at acute angle in dorsal view (Fig. 55).
