The Czech cities from the exile: Milan Kundera
No full textIn this article we analyze the image that Milan Kundera offers of the Czech cities in two novels, The Joke, published in 1965 and The Book of Laughter and Forgetting, whose publication cost him the loss of the Czech citizenship in 1981. The author describes dark, sad and dirty cities. This pessimistic vision of his homeland is opposite to his opinion on the Western cities, with which a clear contrast is established. No full text[EN] As many people, know it on Pentecost Monday, around a devotional image of the virgin, and in particular the patron saint of the Town of Almonte in Huelva, the pilgrimage of "El Rocío" arises. World-famous, it becomes the stage for a week of the congregation of kilometers of people who live together, enjoy, and interact in a festive and playful atmosphere. This festival comes to be announced by artistic posters made by artists from the national scene. But among many artists, only the hand of some women who have been able to develop, that is why, the object of this research, and it is important to access their opinions and feelings as women artists that burst into the current poster landscape and specifically in the rociero.[ES] Como es conocido por muchas personas, el lunes de pentecostés en torno a una imagen devocional de la virgen, y en concreto a la patrona del Pueblo de Almonte en Huelva surge la romería de “El Rocío”. Mundialmente conocida, se transforma en el escenario durante una semana de la congregación de miles de personas que conviven, disfrutan, interaccionan en un ambiente festivo y lúdico. Esta festividad viene siendo anunciada por carteles artísticos realizados por artistas del panorama nacional. This study aimed to determine the occurrence and identity of tick-borne parasites (piroplasms and Hepatozoon spp.) in Navarre, one of the strongholds for wildcats in Spain. DNA was extracted from spleen samples of 63 road-killed wildcats and analyzed using a suite of molecular protocols targeting the 18S rRNA and CytB gene fragments. Eighty percent of the wildcats tested positive for at least one parasite. Cytauxzoon spp. was detected in 65 % of the individuals. Molecular characterization and phylogenetic analysis confirmed the presence of Cytauxzoon europaeus in nine samples, representing the first report of this species in the Iberian Peninsula. Hepatozoon spp. was found in 46 % of the wildcats, and molecular characterization of four cases identified Hepatozoon felis. Babesia vulpes was detected in a single individual. Coinfection with Cytauxzoon sp. and Hepatozoon sp. was observed in 32 % of the wildcats, while one individual was coinfected with C. europaeus and B. vulpes. Occurrence of H. felis was higher in adult wildcats. No spatial structure or correlation with body condition was observed for any of the parasites. Given the widespread presence of Cytauxzoon and other parasites in this and other wildcat populations, their impact on wildcat health, if any, is likely to be minimal. No full textINTRODUCCIÓN: La política sanitaria vigente, prioriza a las personas con
discapacidad en el marco del Sistema Nacional de Salud. Es por esta razón
que el presente estudio será realizado en las familias que tienen miembros con
discapacidad, y requieren de un cuidador. OBJETIVO: Analizar la relación de
la funcionalidad familiar y el síndrome del cuidador cansado en familias con
miembros discapacitados de la parroquia Checa perteneciente al Distrito
Metropolitano de Quito. METODOLOGÍA: Estudio cuantitativo, analítico,
transversal. Se trabajará con el 100% de la población estimada por el INEC,
para determinar: a) la autonomía funcional de las personas con discapacidad
se valorará con el Índice de Barthel sensibilidad del 88% y especificidad del
98%. b) la funcionalidad familiar se evaluará con la escala FF-SIL teniendo un
Alfa de Cronbach de 0.89. c) la estimación de sobrecarga del cuidador se hará
con el test de Zarit con una sensibilidad del 100% y especificidad del 90.5%.
RESULTADOS: prueba exacta de Fisher, la cual representa un grado de
significación exacta con una p=0,138, el cual es superior a 0,05
CONCLUSIÓN: la funcionalidad familiar no se encuentra relacionada con el
síndrome del cuidador cansado.INTRODUCTION: The current health policy prioritizes people with disabilities
within the framework of the National Health System. It is for this reason that
this study will be conducted in families that have members with disabilities and
require a caregiver. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the relationship between family
functionality and caregiver syndrome in families with disabled members of the
Checa parish of the Metropolitan District of Quito. METHODOLOGY:
Quantitative, analytical, cross-sectional study. Work will involve 100% of the
population estimated by the INEC, to determine: a) functional autonomy of
people with disabilities will be assessed using the Barthel Index sensitivity of
88% and specificity of 98%. b) family functionality will be evaluated with the FFSIL
scale having a Cronbach Alpha of 0.89. c) the caregiver overload estimate
will be measured using the Zarit interview with a sensitivity of 100% and
specificity of 90.5%. RESULTS: p Fisher's exact test, which represents an
exact degree of significance with a p = 0.138, which is greater than 0.05.
CONCLUSION: Family functionality is not related to the caregiver syndrom
