    At the time of the interview, Mae Lewis was 90 years old. The interview was conducted in 2015 at her home at Piyami Manor in Picture Butte, Alberta. Mae moved from Manitoba to Alberta at the age of six. She was raised in Southern Alberta on a farm. Her Dad was a farmer and her Mom worked at her school as a janitor. Mae has two brothers and one sister. She was married to her husband, (name unknown), who was twelve years her senior. They both had three children. Mae's daughter and son have passed away in recent years. Charlie McKay was 89 years old at the time of the interview. He lives at Piyami Manor in Picture Butte, Alberta. Charlie moved with his family from Manitoba to Alberta at the age of five. He has one brother and two sisters. Charlie served in the second World War. He was stationed in England and France. He was a driver. Charlie was married, but his wife passed away from leukemia.
