Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Por medio de este plan de mejora se podrá dar a conocer las distintas metas, objetivos y/o proyecciones propuestas en el ámbito académico, personal y laboral desde el comienzo de la práctica; recorriendo cada una de las actividades propuestas para el buen funcionamiento de la compañía de acuerdo a los planes trazados por el departamento de compras y así poder tener una mejor gestión y optimizaCIÓN de los procesos y poco a poco ir reflejando el conocimiento y experiencia adquirido en el proceso de formación para el mundo laboral gracias al grupo de trabajo que acompaño todo el proceso.
Con el plan de mejora se quiere implementar un abastecimiento de materia prima eficiente con la ayuda de implementación de un tablero kanban, generando parámetros para alertar sobre aprovisionamientos que se encuentren con un inventario no tan óptimo para la planta y así generar la respectiva compra para el aprovisionamiento oportuno y así agilizar el proceso de compra oportuno de insumos a los proveedores y así poder garantizar un stock disponible de materia primas a la compañía.The following report is presented in order to present the entire degree option and thus be able to successfully complete the International Business career, the following plan is based on the completion of professional practices in the company BaenaMora in the area of you buy one of the largest leather goods and footwear companies in Colombia; This department is in charge of the leadership and management of purchases of supplies and raw materials both nationally and internationally, for the development of the different production lines of the company in the required delivery times.

No full textEl presente análisis contiene la experiencia del desarrollo de la práctica profesional vivida en el periodo 2021-1. Aquí se evidencia una breve reseña sobre el municipio y la administración municipal, presentando las áreas en las cuales se observó que seria efectivo el plan de mejora.
Por otro lado, se muestran las instituciones y los diferentes actos administrativos que soportan el Plan de Mejora y dan más evidencia del porqué sería efectivo aplicarlo en el Municipio y como sería su implementación y desarrollo, involucrando como actores tanto a empresarios y emprendedores, así mismo el Municipio y la región; posteriormente se reflejarán las diferentes situaciones que llevaron a desarrollar las propuestas para fortalecer e incrementar el beneficio para todos quienes participan de esta experiencia, en donde se ha brindado apoyo sin desconocer la nueva normalidad que atraviesa el mundo actualmente, especialmente quiero resaltar todos los incentivos que en esta época de pandemia se han hecho ley no solo en el país, sino a nivel mundial para favorecer el desarrollo y éxito de tantos objetivos que tienen como meta incentivar a los empresarios tenjanos.

The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
