Optimalisasi Penerimaan Retribusi Jasa Umum Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Malang
Deployable sound-absorbing unit for open-plan offices
In this industrialized world, technology has invaded our life in such a level where behind every product a complex manufacturing process with high transportation costs being hidden. Designing a product itself is not enough anymore; the whole manufacturing procedure needs to be included in the design.Especially when product design meets acoustic engineering, the design should not only fulfil the acoustic and aesthetic qualities but also take into consideration the cost factor. This is translated into the wise use of material, transportation, easy assembly and maintenance. At the same time, the target group is every single person that is called to participate in the assembly procedure, with no expertise knowledge, which adds extra challenge in the design procedure. Less is more, as Mies van der Rohe stated. This research taking a step back and revaluates the product design principle for acoustic panels. Having as starting point the HELIX panel designed by Panayiotis Hadjisergis and Ioanna Christia, during Bucky Lab course of 2015 fall, the target is to keep the advantages of this panel while improving the acoustic performance and keeping the manufacturing process as simple as possible. The target of Helix panel was to provide a flexible solution regarding acoustics and assembly. The advantages of this project were further developed into the STRAWS project. The acoustic principle used is quarter wavelength tubes and combined to a cheap ordinary product, as straws, a broadband sound absorbing unitized panel is designed.Until now there are lots of products that are made for acoustic but none of them fullfil so many different design needs. This research proposes an already existing product which by implementing acoustic principles, can be applied in open-plan officess. In this way the acoustic panel will not only be suitable for a wide range of frequencies but also designed in a way that uses little amount of material, without taking up a big space and being able to be re-used in a different environment.Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences | Building Technolog
Prefacing the Theodicy
The Preface to Leibniz's famous Theodicy offers a perspective on the work that has been insufficiently studied. In this paper, I ask that we step back from the main text of the Theodicy and attend to its Preface. I show that the latter performs two crucial preparatory tasks that have not been properly appreciated. The first is to offer a public declaration of what I call Leibniz’s radical rationalism. The Preface assumes that any attentive rational being is capable of divine knowledge. The basic idea is that it is knowledge about a divine perfection that can be understood more or less completely. In the Preface, Leibniz entices his readers to seek such knowledge and explains why doing so has been so difficult before now. What makes this rationalism radical is that divine knowledge is severed from any religion or set of religious beliefs. While some Christian doctrines make it easier to approach God, they are neither necessary nor sufficient to do so. The author of the Theodicy thereby informs his readers that they have access to divine perfections, regardless of religious affiliation. To acquire such knowledge, they need only work through his book. The second task of the Preface is closely related to the first. It invites readers to seek divine love and virtue. To set themselves on the path to virtue, they need only avoid the pitfalls of religion and use reason in the right way to grasp a divine perfection. Once they enter the main text of the Theodicy, they have begun that journey

Questa operazione ha un duplice scopo: consentire a Pascal di essere incluso nel campo della filosofia e valorizzare l’invenzione platonica della philo-sophiaTaking a cue from Pascal’s fragment «Platon pour disposer au christia- nisme», the author sets a new disposition of Plato to Pascal, based on the order of love that both philosophers present. This operation has a double philosophical aim: to allow Pascal to be included in the field of philosophy and to valorise the Platonic invention of philo-sophia

OPTIMALISASI PENERIMAAN RETRIBUSI JASA UMUM DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH (PAD) KABUPATEN MALANG
The purpose of this qualitative descriptive study is to know and explain about the public service retribution revenue as one source of Revenue in Malang Regency. It is to analyze the constraints faced in the implementation of the optimalization of the district government revenue, public services, government efforts in Malang Regency in overcoming the obstacles that is existing. Local Genuine Income (PAD) is expected to be a main support to finance local activities. Every local government works hard to improve the local economic, including the improvement of PAD. One relatively great inflow to PAD is coming from retributions. Local retributions are the source of finance for the implementation of local government and local development through which the welfare of peoples will be improved and evenly distributed throughout population. The kind of public service retributions is more variable than that of service business and permit retributions. Higher collection of retributions will increase the revenue accepted by the government. Feminist Identity Among Latina Adolescents
This study explores developing conceptions of feminism among Latina adolescents, their prevalence of feminist endorsement, and whether home environment and well-being are related to feminist identity. One hundred and forty Latina girls (Grades 9 to 12, M age = 15) wrote personal narratives of their understanding of feminism and whether they consider themselves feminists. The major themes that emerged in girls' conceptions were notions of feminism either as equality, as femininity, as female empowerment, as bias, or as sexism. Results show older adolescents are more likely to define feminism with regard to group-based status differences and that opposition to female superiority is a common reason for rejecting feminism. Endorsement of an egalitarian-based definition of feminism was correlated with higher body image but was unrelated to self-esteem or parent education. © 2009 The Author(s)
