No full textLa revelación e inspiración son prerrogativas divinas a través de las cuales Dios transmite su conocimiento a sus criaturas. No obstante, detrás de esta explicación superficial, la RI es un campo que necesita ser estudiado. Fernando Canale es un teólogo que, a través de una determinada metodología, propuso una teoría de RI. En este artículo se analizarán las bases bíblicas de la RI; luego se analizarán las presuposiciones, metodología y desarrollo de la teoría de Canale; y finalmente se evaluará la solidez de su teoría, proponiendo también preguntas y problemáticas que serán de utilidad para futuras investigaciones. El artículo concluye en que Canale, haciendo uso correcto del principio Sola Scriptura, extrae como presuposición primordial la necesidad de Dios y del autor de la Escritura de hallarse en un mismo nivel de realidad
