No full textQuesto volume si basa su keynote presentato al convegno "Antinomie dell’educazione nel 21 ° secolo" tenutosi a Roma, presso l'Università di Roma Tre. Tutto il volume diverse problematiche e antinomie, che emergono dal dibattito in corso sul sistema educativo, vengono discusse: il significato integrato di globale e locale, uguale e diverso, cultura e professione, razionalità ed emozione. Tra la negazione di alcune possibilità di intervento per la pianificazione di una rigenerazione totale del sistema educativo e la società in quanto tale emerge dalle riflessioni degli Autori una terza via, che sembra più realistica, attenta alle esigenze della società, e consapevole delle potenzialità, '. E 'il risultato di un confronto tra sensibilità diverse e la conoscenza, che offre un nuovo punto di partenza per riformulare domande vecchie e nuove passando per un approccio educativo
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textUna sociologia della robotica è ancora tutta da costruire, ma almeno in Italia ci
sono stati degli antesignani, in particolare con Luciano Gallino dapprima e Renato
Grimaldi poi che si sono dedicati allo studio dei robot e delle implicazioni sociali
della loro presenza fra gli umani. Dal 2019 opera a Torino il Laboratorio di simulazione
del comportamento e robotica educativa «Luciano Gallino», così intitolato
come riconoscimento a chi per primo, già nel 1983, diede inizio a sperimentazioni
sull’intelligenza artificiale e su EGO, un modello computazionale di attore sociale.
Risulta, dunque, privilegiato il rapporto fra robotica ed educazione, come si evince
anche dalla recente opera curata dallo stesso Renato Grimaldi dal titolo La società
dei robot (Milano, Mondadori, 2022: cfr. in particolare Roberto Cipriani, Mariella
Nocenzi, Alessandra Sannella, «A scuola con i robot: come cambiano i contesti
sociali con l’intelligenza artificiale», pp. 227-238), in occasione della quale si è
pensato di somministrare, il 14 settembre 2020, un’intervista focalizzata a Maria
Chiara Carrozza, Professore Ordinario di Bioingegneria Industriale presso l’Istituto
di Biorobotica della Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa, Deputato nella XVII
legislatura (2013-18), Ministro dell’Istruzione, Università e Ricerca (2013-14),
Rettore della Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (2007-13), membro della IEEE Society
of Engineering in Medicine and Biology (EMB), e della IEEE Society of Robotics
and Automation (R&A), socio fondatore di IUVO S.r.l., che opera nella robotica
indossabile per applicazioni biomedicali e industriali, e, dal 12 aprile 2021, prima
donna ad essere nominata Presidente del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.
L’intervistata è autrice di vari saggi, fra cui si segnalano, per un maggiore interesse

Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
