Anthropocene, literature, and econarratology : an interview with Marco Caracciolo
Marco Caracciolo is Associate Professor of English and Literary Theory at Ghent University in Belgium, where he led the ERC Starting Grant project "Narrating the Mesh." (2017-2022). His work explores the phenomenology of narrative, or the structure of the experiences afforded by literary fiction and other narrative media. He is the author of several books including the most recently Slow Narrative and Nonhuman Materialities (2022) and Contemporary Fiction and Climate Uncertainty: Narrating Unstable Futures (2022). In September 2021, Dr. Wang Hongri interviewed Caracciolo on Anthropocene literature and econarratology via e-mail. In this interview, Caracciolo sheds light on the use of such concepts as the Anthropocene, climate crisis and climate change fiction in literary studies. Further, he elaborates on the tardiness of narratological interests in environmental issues and narrative's formal affordance to address the Anthropocene condition. After commenting on the relationship between New Formalism and the contextualist vein of contemporary narrative theory, Caracciolo identifies four future directions for the study of Anthropocene literature and econarratology

Enrichetta Caracciolo.

Ricardo realitza una sèrie de reflexions sobre la seva trajectòria i obraPresentation by Jordi Ferrer of the 4th International Prize for Legal Culture, 2024, which this time is awarded to Professor Ricardo Caracciolo. Creating and awarding this award was one of the projects with which the Chair of Legal Culture of the University of Girona began, an award that represents tribute and recognition, but not only, and that includes academic discussion, debate, etc. about the subject of the award, his thinking, etc. We will not go into the details of the theoretical merits of the work of Ricardo Caracciolo, of his theory of law, of his analytical philosophy from which we have all learned. Jordi gives importance to another type of merit, which is not found in the curricula in use, in the case of Ricardo; mentions the temperament that coexisted at the Instituto de filosofia del derecho, of the University of Buenos Aires, a way of dedication to intellectual life characterized by honesty and the acceptance of criticism, as well as the approach and dedication to young man another of Ricardo's distinguishing features has been the vision of continuity between research and the transmission of knowledge. Ricardo makes a series of reflections on his career and work7564.mp4

Reply to the 'Comment on "Transverse fluctuations in the driven lattice gas"'
For original paper by Caracciolo et al. see (ibid., vol. 36, p. L315 (2003)). In these comments it is shown that the conclusions of Caracciolo et al. which have been claimed to agree with the JSLC equation are flawed and have to be disregarded
