    Bu görüşme, Doç. Dr. Erol Kaya tarafından, Şehre Tanıklık Edenler: Erzincan'ın Sözlü Tarih Envanteri Projesi başlığı altında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu proje kapsamında yapılan görüşmelerin sayısı 58'dir.1916 yılında Kiev’de doğan Nuri Atalay’ın ailesi aslen Rizelidir. Babasının Kiev’e gidiş hikayesini, orada işlettiği fırını ve o dönemde patlak veren I. Dünya Savaşı’na dair anılarını aktarmaktadır. Kiev’den Rize’ye, oradan da Erzurum’a yerleştiklerini, babasının burada da fırın işlettiğini söyler. İlkokul 3. sınıfa kadar Rize’de okuyan Atalay, ilkokulu Erzurum’da tamamlar. Erzincan’da esnaflık yaptığı yıllarda 1939 Depremi yaşanır.     Cobitis kellei Erk'akan, Atalay-Ekmekçi & Nalbant, 1998 (Fig. 15) Cobitis kellei Erk'akan, Atalay-Ekmekçi & Nalbant, 1998: 10, fig. 1 (type locality: Turkey: Tigris drainage: Göksu stream, Çınar, Diyarbakir). Material examined. None Material used in molecular genetic analysis. None Diagnosis. Cobitis kellei is distinguished from C. avicennae from the Iranian Tigris drainage by having one row of indistinct, minute, roundish, dark-grey dots in Z4 (vs. distinct, large dark-brown blotches in Z4, usually horizontally elongated on the anterior body, roundish or vertically elongated on caudal peduncle) and from C. elazigensis from the Euphrates drainage by having one lamina circularis in the male (vs. two). Distribution. Cobitis kellei has only been found once in the stream Göksu in the upper Tigris drainage. Remarks. Cobitis kellei was found only once, in 1974, but has not been found since, despite intensive research in the area (E. Ünlü pers. comm. 2014, C. Kaya pers. comm. 2018, own field data). The stream Göksu has been dammed in its lower part, but its middle and upper part are in a good ecological status with clear water and many fish.     Fırat Nehir sisteminde yaşayan Pseudophoxinus firati Bogutskaya, Küçük & Atalay, 2007 (Actinopterygii, Cyprinidae)’nin karyotip, C-bantlama ve nükleolus organizatör bölge analizi yapıldı. Metafaz kromozomları böbrek hücrelerinden elde edildi. Diploid kromozom sayısı 19 çift meta-submetasentrik ve 6 çift subtelosentrik olmak üzere 2n = 50 ve kol sayısı 88 bulundu. Eşey kromozomu farklılaşması gözlenmedi. C-bantlama ile altı çift kromozomun perisentromerlerinde heterokromatin bölge tespit edildi. Orta büyüklükte 2 çift submeta-subtelosentrik kromozomun kısa kollarında NOR gözlendi. Bu çalışmanın, yapılacak olan sitogenetik araştırmalara katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.Pseudophoxinus firati Bogutskaya, Küçük & Atalay, 2007 (Actinopterygii, Cyprinidae) living in the Euphrates River system were analyzed in terms of their karyotype, C-banding, and nucleolus organizer region properties. Metaphase chromosome spreads were obtained from kidney cells. The diploid chromosome number was found to be 2n = 50, of which 19 pairs were meta-submetacentric and 6 pairs were subtelocentric, and the fundamental number was found to be 88. No sex chromosome differentiation was observed. C-banding revealed heterochromatin in the pericentromeric regions of 6 pairs of chromosomes. NORs were identified on the short arms of 2 pairs of medium-sized submeta-subtelocentric chromosomes. This study may contribute to other cytogenetic research

    Experimental and theoretical study of 4-cyanobenzaldehyde isonicotinoyl-hydrazone monohydrate

    The molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies, gauge-including atomic orbital (CIAO) H-1 and C-13 chemical shift values of 4-cyanobenzaldehyde isonicotinoyl-hydrazone monohydrate in the ground state have been calculated by using the Hartree-Fock (HF) and density functional method (DFT/B3LYP) with 6-31++G(d,p) basis set. Furthermore, this structure has been confirmed by IR, C-13 and H-1 spectroscopy. The results of the optimized molecular structure are presented and compared with the experimental X-ray diffraction. The computed vibration frequencies are used to determine the types of molecular motions associated with each of the experimental bands observed. C-13 and H-1 NMR data were calculated by means of the methods of GIAO, CSGT, and IGAIM. Calculated chemical shift values are compared with the experimental 4-cyanobenzaldehyde isonicotinoyl-hydrazone monohydrate. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

    Uncertainty Analysis of the Temperature-Resistance Relationship of Temperature Sensing Fabric

    This paper reports the uncertainty analysis of the temperature-resistance (TR) data of the newly developed temperature sensing fabric (TSF), which is a double-layer knitted structure fabricated on an electronic flat-bed knitting machine, made of polyester as a basal yarn, and embedded with fine metallic wire as sensing element. The measurement principle of the TSF is identical to temperature resistance detector (RTD); that is, change in resistance due to change in temperature. The regression uncertainty (uncertainty within repeats) and repeatability uncertainty (uncertainty among repeats) were estimated by analysing more than 300 TR experimental repeats of 50 TSF samples. The experiments were performed under dynamic heating and cooling environments on a purpose-built test rig within the temperature range of 20-50 degrees C. The continuous experimental data was recorded through LabVIEW-based graphical user interface. The result showed that temperature and resistance values were not only repeatable but reproducible, with only minor variations. The regression uncertainty was found to be less than +/- 0.3 degrees C; the TSF sample made of Ni andWwires showed regression uncertainty of <+/- 0.13 degrees C in comparison to Cu-based TSF samples (>+/- 0.18 degrees C). The cooling TR data showed considerably reduced values (+/- 0.07 degrees C) of uncertainty in comparison with the heating TR data (+/- 0.24 degrees C). The repeatability uncertainty was found to be less than +/- 0.5 degrees C. By increasing the number of samples and repeats, the uncertainties may be reduced further. The TSF could be used for continuous measurement of the temperature profile on the surface of the human body

    Determination of the optical constants of 2-amino-5-phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole by Hartree-Fock and density functional method (B3LYP)

    The optical constants (real and imaginary refractive index) and complex dielectric constants of 2-amino-5-phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazole between 4000 and 400 cm(-1) at 25 degrees C were calculated using the Hartree-Fock and density functional method (B3LYP) and are reported for the first time. The Cauchy parameters obtained from the refractive index spectrum were found to be A = 9.870, B = 2.85 X 10(-5) cm(2) and C = 8.86X 10(-12) cm(4) for experimental results and A = 15.369, B = 3.19 X 10-5 cm(2) and C = 1.49 X 10(-12) cm(4) for HF model and A = 9.871, B = 1.73 X 10(-5) cm(2) and C= 9.24 X 10(-13) cm(4) for B3LYP model, The real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric constant of the compound were calculated. The real part of the dielectric constant is higher than the imaginary part. The variation of the dielectric constant with photon energy indicates that some interactions between photons and electrons in the film are produced in the investigated energy range. These interactions are observed on the shapes of the real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant and they cause formation of peaks in dielectric spectra. As a result, the optical constants obtained by using HF and DFT (B3LYP) methods show the best agreement with the experimental data. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V.
