    Shell model analysis of the values in the B(E2, 2+ → 0+) values in the A = 70, T = 1 triplet 70Kr, 70Br, and 70Se

The transition strengths of the isobaric triplet recently measured at the RIKEN Radioactive Isotope Beam Factory (RIBF), are discussed in terms of state-of-the-art large scale shell model calculations using the JUN45 and plus Coulomb interactions. In this Letter we argue that, depending on the effective charges used, the calculations are either in line with the experimental data within statistical uncertainties, or the anomaly happens in rather than . In the latter case, we suggest that it can be due to the presence of a hitherto undetected state below the yrast state. Our results do not support a shape change of with respect to the other members of the isobaric multiplet

Service Design for Supportive Health Systems: Service proposition for Clear

    No full text
This Master’s thesis looks at the development of a Service Design solution for a Supportive Health System in the field of nutrition. The project is scoped within Clear, a young organisation using Continuous Glucose Monitoring technology (CGM) to support better nutritional habits. This thesis applies a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis to answer the following questions: (1) How shall responsible parties generate a Preventive Health behaviour in the in- dividual? (2) How shall design parties integrate data in the design of Supportive Health Systems? And (3) How shall organisations deliver services that integrate Supportive Health Systems to facilitate Preventive Health Behaviour? The end goal of the final service solution presented in this thesis is to offer a proof of concept for a viable proposition in the emerging field of Personalised Nutrition. It is meant to be a guide for implementation to the collaborating organisation, and an actionable way to provide inspiration for key stakeholders of the field.Strategic Product Desig

Quadrupole Collectivity in Neutron-Rich Fe and Cr Isotopes

    No full text
Intermediate-energy Coulomb excitation measurements are performed on the N≥40 neutron-rich nuclei 66,68Fe and 64Cr. The reduced transition matrix elements providing a direct measure of the quadrupole collectivity B(E2;21+→01+) are determined for the first time in 68Fe42 and 64Cr40 and confirm a previous recoil distance method lifetime measurement in 66Fe40. The results are compared to state-of-the-art large-scale shell-model calculations within the full fpgd neutron orbital model space using the Lenzi-Nowacki-Poves-Sieja effective interaction and confirm the results of the calculations that show these nuclei are well deformed

First spectroscopic study of V-63 at the N=40 island of inversion

    No full text
The low-lying level structure of V-63 was studied for the first time by the inelastic proton scattering and the proton knock-out reaction in inverse kinematics. The comparison of the newly observed gamma-ray transitions at 696(8) keV and 889(16) keV with our shell-model calculations using the Lenzi-Nowacki-Poves-Sieja interaction established two excited states proposed to be the first 11/2(-) and 9/2(-) levels. The (p, p') excitation cross sections were analyzed by the coupled channel formalism assuming pure quadrupole as well as quadrupole+hexadecapole deformations. This resulted in large deformation parameters placing V-63 in the island of inversion located below Ni-68.</p
