Sintesis dan Karakterisasi senyawa C-4-phenil-mono(etoksi-karbonilmetoksi)- kaliks[4]resorcinarena
Diversifikasi adsorben kaliksresorcinarena merupakan terobosan baru untuk
mengatasi pencemaran perairan. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan
adsorben relatif baru untuk mengatasi masalah pencemaran perairan sehingga
perlu dilakukan sintesis material organik berbasis material . Secara khusus, tujuan
penelitian ini adalah : (1) mensintesis senyawa C-4-phenilkaliks[4]resorcinarena,
(2) mensintesis senyawa C-4-phenil-mono(etoksi karbonil
metoksi)kaliks[4]resorcinarena dengan FTIR. Hasil penelitian ini akan diperoleh
material. Hasil kajian Fundamental novelty adsorben akan diaplikasikan untuk
penjerap limbah zat waarna dan akan dihasilkan publikasi ilmia
PEMBUATAN SABUN DARI EKSTRAK BAHAN ALAMI BAGI UNIT USAHA PONDOK PESANTREN
Kegiatan Pengabdian pada masyarakat yang berbasis pada hasil penelitian belum banyak
dilakukan. Secara umum, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan memiliki topik yang
berbeda dengan kegiatan penelitiannya. Dengan demikian tidak ada integrasi hasil penelitian
dengan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Kegiatan yang diusulkan ini merupakan suatu
kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berbasis hasil penelitian yaitu pelatihan pengolahan limbah
kulit pisang menjadi Nata de banana. Topik Nata de banana merupakan salah satu topik penelitian
yang telah dilakukan pengusul. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu
(1) Penyuluhan tentang potensi limbah kulit pisang, (2) pelatihan pengolahan limbah kulit pisang
menjadi nata de banana skin, (3) pendampingan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan bagi
sekelompok pemuda Karang Karuna di desa Kertonegoro, kecamatan Jenggawah, Kabupaten
Jember. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusias peserta terhadap materi pelatihan yang diberikan.
Antusias peserta diamati secara langsung Maupin dari kuisener yang diberikan kepada peserta.
Namun demikian, tindak lanjut dari pelatihan ini melalui praktik secara mandiri atau kelompok
yang disertai pendampingan akan mempercepat keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian ini
PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI KELOMPOK TANI JAMBU DI KECAMATAN SUMBERSARI DALAM MEMANFAATKAN FEROMON SINTETIK UNTUK MENANGGULANGI HAMA LALAT BUAH
Kegiatan Pengabdian pada masyarakat yang diusulkan ini merupakan suatu kegiatan
pengabdian masyarakat yang berbasis hasil penelitian yaitu pemanfaatan ferromon
sintetik menggunaakan bahan dasar minyak cengkeh. Kegiatan pengabdian ini
dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) Penyuluhan tentang minyak cengkeh ,
(2) Apilkasi senyawa ferromon sintetik untuk menanggulangi hama lalat buah jambu.
Kegiatan ini dilakukan bagi kelompok tani jambu merah di kecamatan Sumbersari -
Kabupaten Jember. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusias peserta terhadap materi
pelatihan yang diberikan. Antusias peserta diamati secara langsung dari acara yang
dilakukian di kediaman ketua kelompok tani Bapak Arief Poniran
Synthesis and Characterization of Bacterial Cellulose-Polyaniline Composite with Variation of Dopant Concentration
Polyaniline is a type of conductive polymer. Bacterial cellulose has high mechanical properties, so it can be made into polyaniline base composite materials. A stable form of polyaniline oxidation at room temperature is emeraldine base. The emeraldine base has a conductivity value of 10-6 S/cm. Dopants can change the shape of emeraldine base to emeraldine salt by protonation process. Emeraldine salt is a conductive form of polyaniline. The conductivity value of emeraldine salt is 0,03-0,07 S/cm. The addition of dopan in synthesis of polymer was carried out to determine its effect on the conductivity value. The disadvantage of polyaniline is that its mechanical properties are weak and easily brittle. Modifications are needed to improve the mechanical properties of polyaniline, one of which is the manufacture of composite. Bacterial celluloce has high mechanical properties so it can be made into polyaniline base composite materials. Synthesis of bacterial cellulose-polyaniline composites by in situ chemical polymerization methods. Syntehsis is started with BC membrane was dipped into aniline solution for about 2h with stirring at room temperature. The BC was immersed into ammonium peroxydisulfate solution for about 30m with stirring. The bacterial cellulose-polyaniline compositions obtained are black color which is characteristic of the emeraldine salt. The highest conductivity value of composite was obtained from the addition of 3,5M HCl dopant which was 4,70x10-4 S/cm. FTIR analysis of composite obtained peak of the characteristic polyanilin was conductive at 1565,92 cm-1 as C=C quinoid ring and 1442,95 cm-1 as C=C benzoid ring
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
