No full textThis chapter analyses Mario Soldati's Viaggio lungo la Valle del Po (Journey along the Po Valley), the first Italian food show broadcast by the public service television Rai in 1957.
Drawing on studies on television and on the construction of food culture, and adopting multimodal analysis, the chapter investigates the relationships between the TV show and Italy's politics and culture in the 1950s.
The results show that the programme was an extraordinary means through which public service television mediated conservative social values and a nostalgic idea of the Italian past. More generally, the chapter highlights the enormous power of food television in negotiating ideologies

No full textThe Pierre Auger Observatory is the largest ultrahigh-energy cosmic ray observatory in the world. The huge amount of high quality data collected since 2004 up to now led to great improvements in our knowledge of the ultra-energetic cosmic rays. The suppression of the cosmic-ray flux at highest energies was clearly established, and the extra-galactic origin of these particles was confirmed. On the other hand, measurements of the depth of shower maximum indicate a puzzling trend in the mass composition of cosmic rays at energy around the ankle up to the highest energy. The just started upgrade of the Observatory, dubbed AugerPrime, will improve the identification of the mass of primaries allowing us to disentangle models of origin and propagation of cosmic rays

No full textIn questa ricerca sono stati analizzati gli aspetti eziopatogenetici, clinici, radiografici e istopatologici del tumore cheratocistico odontogeno, soprattutto in associazione alle anomalie dentarie di numero , con il fine di dare nozioni utili per poter effettuare una corretta diagnosi, terapia e prognosi nell’ambito di un approccio multidisciplinare.
L’instaurarsi di queste due patologie non è dovuto ad una comune causa genetica, ma probabilmente ad una interconnessione casuale e legata a fattori ambientali. La gestione del caso ha richiesto la collaborazione multidisciplinare tra varie branche specialistiche ed un’attenta programmazione per ideare un corretto protocollo terapeutico e quindi formulare una prognosi favorevole, che comportasse assenza di recidive del KCOT ed una buona adattabilità morfo-funzionale ed estetica della riabilitazione impianto-protesica
