Since the travel warning due to the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic was issued, business actors in the tourism cluster on Lombok Island have experienced business ups and downs. After this pandemic, the number of tourist visits has not reached its target. This research aims to identify the perceived meaning and behavioral patterns of business actors in the tourism cluster on Lombok Island through persistent actions during the pandemic which caused travel warnings. The research method used is a qualitative-phenomenological method with samples randomly taken from various types of businesses in the tourism cluster and analyzed through data coding. The results show that persistence can be achieved if it is combined with resilience, and business actors can uniformly persist by implementing digital media to offer tourism services. This research can be a reference and recommendation basis for tourism business actors in Lombok to use digital media as the main marketing tool
Analisis Peran Kelompok Sadar Wisata Telok Kombal Dalam Mengembangkan Ekowisata Bukit Sumbur Suma
This research aims to determine the role of Pokdarwis in the development of the Sumbur Suma Hill in Telok Kombal, North Lombok. This research uses the case study method. Focus of the research is to examine the role of Pokdarwis with the role indicators presented by Minztberg: Interpersonal roles, Roles related to information, and the role of decision makers. The main data collection by interview was collaborated with the results of observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using an Interactive Model technique that passes through two types of triangulation (data triangulation and methodological triangulation). In an effort to develop the Sumbur Suma Hill ecotourism, Pokdarwis Telok Kombal has performed its role as it should, although it is still faced with various obstacles. For product development, Pokdarwis plays the role of decision maker. In terms of standardization development, Pokdarwis plays two roles, the role associated with information and the role of decision makers. Then community empowerment, Pokdarwis plays two roles, interpersonal role and decision maker role. The stakeholder part, Pokdarwis has been able to carry out its entire role
Strategic Management of MSME Individual Company Program by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights
Indonesia has the largest number of MSMEs in Southeast Asia. Very few of them are legal. The government introduced the Individual Company (Perusahaan Perseorangan) program to address this issue. The highlighted issue is the socialization activities by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to assess whether the socialization strategy conducted is well received by MSMEs, as well as its sustainability strategies, and whether this socialization strategy can move MSMEs toward the objectives set by the organization. This study was conducted in the West Nusa Tenggara Province (Nusa Tenggara Timur/NTB) with phenomenological principles, using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) as data analysis by combining two measurements, namely RMT and EPIC Model, which have never been done before in other studies. Based on Relationship Management Theory and the EPIC Model, this study shows that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights applies an attractive and persuasive strategy so that MSMEs understand the objectives it conveys through the socialization of Individual Companies. An ongoing strategy is also carried out to maintain relationships with MSMEs.
Keywords: MSMEs; Management; Strategic Management; Individual Company; PhenomenologyIndonesia memiliki jumlah UMKM terbesar di Asia Tenggara.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Analisis Brand Image Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram sebagai Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) di Nusa Tenggara Barat
The history of the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT) does not match the UMMAT brand image in the eyes of the public. The purpose of this study was to determine the brand image of UMMAT and its advantages and disadvantages as private universities in NTB. This research is qualitative and uses coding for data analysis techniques. The main data were obtained from purposively selected informants and snowball sampling to assess ten elements of brand image. The analyzed data has gone through the triangulation stage. In this study, it was found that the students\u27 assessment of UMMAT was divided into two groups of students. First, students who take part in the Student Activity Unit (UKM). Second, students who do not participate in campus UKM. Brand awareness and brand association still need to be improved to achieve brand familiarity in the eyes of the wider community. However, the positive thing is that brand trust and brand loyalty from the community are already attached. UMMAT needs to increase the intensity of advertising activities with effective communication. Then UMMAT should encourage all groups of students to contribute in disseminating information from campus in any form to the public. Because it has limitations, it is hoped that future researchers can develop this research with different methods and techniques so as to enrich references in science
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
