Práce se zaměřuje na změny, s kterými se musí vozíčkář potýkat. Jedná se o změny v bydlení, pracovním i soukromém životě. Vozíčkáři se také mohou potýkat s nově vzniklými zdravotními problémy. Důležitou změnou je také finanční zajištění formou sociálních dávek, jelikož někteří vozíčkáři již dále pracovat nemohou.Součástí práce je průzkum, který byl proveden metodou dotazníkového šetření. Respondenty jsou vozíčkáři, u nichž je doba od úrazu delší než jeden rok a mohou se tedy adekvátně vyjádřit ke změně života.Na dokreslení situace jsou v příloze uvedeny dvě případové studie klientů po poranění míchy

Upbringing and the Education of Autistic Children

Jejím stěžejním cílem bylo zjistit spokojenost rodin s dětmi s autismem, s dostupností a možnostmi poskytovaných služeb ve výchově a vzdělávání dětí s autismem. Práci tvořily dvě základní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která za pomoci zpracování odborných zdrojů popisovala a objasňovala základní pojmosloví z oblasti autismu, dále zahrnovala stručný historický nástin ve vývoji péče o osoby s autismem ve světě i v České republice, až do současnosti. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí dotazníku distribuovaného mezi respondenty z řad rodičů dětí s autismem, bydlících a využívajících péči v Praze, problematiku poskytované péče ve výchově a vzdělávání rodinám dětí s autismem. Výsledky poukazovaly na to, že v současné době je tento systém péče nedostatečný, co do počtu zařízení, které poskytují vzdělávání dětem s autismem, a dále průzkum poukázal na nespokojenost z řad rodin se současným systémem péče o děti s autismem
Examination of the central nervous system using nuclear medicine methods
No full textBakalářská práce nese název Vyšetření centrálního nervového systému metodami nukleární medicíny. Je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část se skládá z 6 kapitol a zahrnuje základní anatomii a patologii CNS, vznik radioaktivního záření a jednotlivých druhů záření včetně jednotlivých fyzikálních veličin s nimi spojených, dále radiofarmaka a jejich výroba. Poté je popsána nukleární medicína a zobrazovací metody užívané v nukleární medicíně. Závěrem a zároveň nejdůležitější částí je vyšetření CNS metodami nukleární medicíny, kde jsou obsažena jednotlivá vyšetření včetně užívaných radiofarmak, indikace a hodnocení jednotlivých vyšetření. Praktická část se skládá ze statistického rozboru vyšetření prováděných na oddělení nukleární medicíny FN Plzeň a čtyřech případových studiích, které popisují symptomy, diagnostiku a léčbu Parkinsonovy choroby.ObhájenoThe bachelor's thesis is called examination of the central nervous system using nuclear medicine methods. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes the basic anatomy and pathology of the central nervous system, radioactivity and individual types of radiation, including the individual physical quantities associated with them, as well as radiopharmaceuticals and their production. Then nuclear medicine and the imaging methods used in nuclear medicine are described. The conclusion and at the same time the most important part is the examination of the central nervous system by nuclear medicine methods, which includes individual examinations including the radiopharmaceuticals used, indications and evaluation of individual examinations. The practical part consists of a statistical analysis of examinations performed at the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the FN Plzeň and four case studies that describe the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease
Ethnicity: in search of concept
Full text linkThis thesis is an attempt to deal with a challenge that I wrestled with during my fieldwork in Bukovec: how to conceptualize the diversity of collective identities that I identified there. I decided to use the anthropological concept of Ethnicity. Nevertheless, after the publication of Barth's Introduction to Ethnic Groups and Boundaries in 1969, this concept was used in so many ways by so many authors that there is no general definition of it. Therefore, I decided to redefine ethnicity in this paper. I assume that the meanings of denotations such as ethnic group and ethnicity are overlapping with the meaning of other words. Therefore, I delimitated it from the words race and nation in the negative sense, and, on the other side, I also constituted a positive meaning by analysis of journalist discourse
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
