STUDI PENYAKIT KARANG PADA KARANG KERAS DI PERAIRAN TIHIK – TIHIK DAN MELAHING BONTANG
Study of diseases in hard corals on Tihi-Tihi, Melahing, Bontang. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of coral disease and calculate the prevalence of coral diseases in the Tihi-Tihi and Melahing Bontang islands.The study way done by transect line along 50 m, each quadrant was layed at every 3 m randomly and recorded by underwater camera. Coral samples were taken using a hammer and chisel to identify the type of disease in the laboratory. Parameters of water quality that were including: temperature, depth, salinity, nutrient and phosphate. The results obtained, the value of coral disease prevalence in the area is an average of 29,45%. This value is small compared to the prevalence of coral diseases in several waters in Indonesia. There were 3 types types of coral disease found in the two research locations namely bleaching, fish bite disease and pink blotch (PB). The disease that dominated the research site was bleaching, which is often found in massive and submasive reefs.
ANALISIS PERUBAHAN LUASAN TERUMBU KARANG MENGGUNAKAN CITRA LANDSAT DI PULAU BERAS BASAH BONTANG KALIMANTAN TIMUR.
Beras Basah Island is a small island located in North Bontang District which is included in the conservation area of Bontang city. Many activities that occur on Beras Basah Island that can pressure and even threat of damage to coral reef ecosystems. This study uses remote sensing technology to determine changes in the area of coral reefs in Beras Basah Island. Analysis of changes in the extent of coral reefs was carried out by the Lyzenga algorithm method using Landsat 8 satellite images and the classification was done by unsupervised classification (not guided). The results of processing image data show changes in the area of coral reefs in 2014-2016 by 6.48 Ha or 11% and in 2016-2018 by 3.24 Ha or 6%
KEANEKARAGAMAN PLANKTON WADUK BENANGA DI KOTA SAMARINDA
This study aims to determine the diversity of Plankton at Station I (reservoir inlet section) Station II, III, IV (central reservoir) and Station V (Outlet section reservoir) in the Benanga reservoir. When the study was conducted in July-August 2019 at five stations with three replications in a span of one week. Plankton identification was carried out at the Water Quality Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. Data results were analyzed using a diversity t-test comparison. Plankton is a waters bioindicator. Based on observations found 49 types of plankton consisting of 22 types of phytoplankton and 27 zooplankton with the five most species found phytoplankton species of the Euglenaceae class namely Euglena proxima, Chlorophyceae class namely Closterium kuetzingii brebisson, Euglenoideae class namely Trachelomonos sp. Of the zoopalnkton species found from the Arcellidae class namely Arcella vulgaris and from the Eurotatoria class Monostyla hamata. The Diversity Index (H ') for the five stations ranged from 1,823 to 2,403 and was classified as moderate. Based on the comparison of t-test Diversity to the five stations were not significantly different. The uniformity index value is in the range of 0.608 to 0.804 and the dominance index value ranges from 0.120 to 0.238. The amount of abundance ranges from 8.6542
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS IKAN BADUT (Amphiprion sp.) DI PULAU KANIUNGAN KECAMATAN BIDUK-BIDUK KABUPATEN BERAU
Pomacentridae Coral Fish, especially clown fish species (Amphiprion sp.) is one of the groups of coral fish that live in the area of coral reefs that are usually also used as ornamental fish. One of the genus Amphiprion sp., the most dominating in indonesian sea waters is the species Amphiprion ocelaris, or commonly called clown fish. This research aims to find out the structure of clown fish community (Amphiprion sp.) in Kaniungan island of Biduk-Biduk sub-district of Berau district. The study was conducted in July – August 2019. Observations were conducted at 3 stations using UVC method by stretching the transek line along 50 meters following the coastline, with data retrieval 2.5 meters to the right and left. The results of the study on Kaniungan Island species obtained at Station I as many as 6 species and the number of species Amphiprion sp. station II of 3 species. While the abundance of Amphiprion sp. the highest is found in Station I which is 75 individuals and the lowest abundance is also found in Station II which is 40 individuals, while the average diversity index obtained at 1.34 belongs to the medium category value, the average uniformity index value obtained at 0.75 belongs to the category of stable community, and the average dominance index obtained by 0.30 belongs to the low category. The results of t-test analysis conducted at each station showed that the number of Amphiprion sp. in between stations did not differ significantly
