    Bruner lives in Bloomington, IN and is a Special Education Coordinator for the public school system. Bruner lived in several L'Arche communities including L'Arche Buffalo and L'Arche Washington.     Bruner lives in Bloomington, IN and is an eighteen year old student. Bruner met Nouwen as a toddler living at L'Arche Daybreak. Most of Bruner's early life was spent with Nouwen including Thanksgiving dinners, Easter Mass, First Communion and vacations to Cape Cod and Holland.     Dr. Belinda Bruner, writer and former professor at Oklahoma State University (OSU), talks about growing up in southeastern Oklahoma and the difficulties of making friends in school due to prejudice towards her mixed-race heritage. After receiving her PhD in English from OSU, Bruner discusses her 26 year teaching career at OSU and expresses her admiration for the student population.     Harl Bruner discusses his experiences growing up on a homestead ranch in Dupuyer, Montana. He describes his first job, working as a rider and sheep herder for the Hamilton Sheep Company, and his later experience working as a ranch hand for the Babcock Ranch. Bruner also discusses working for Fry’s Packing Company during the winter of 1919, why he quit his job as a ranch hand, and the hardships he and his wife faced during the Great Depression. He briefly describes living in Arlee, Montana, working as a farmer, grocery store owner, and sheriff’s deputy, and his experiences with art. Bruner also details meeting the artist Charlie M.
