No full textIl volume, dopo aver inquadrato la struttura istituzionale dei servizi per l'impiego a livello comparato e aver tratteggiato i rapporti pubblico-privato in selezionate esperienze internazionali, si sofferma sui principali aspetti della gestione dei centri per l'impiego. Chiude il volume il commento al decreto legislativo n. 150/2015 di riforma dei servizi per l'impiego in Italia, che viene inquadrato nel contesto comparato. Alessandra Sartori ha scritto i capitoli da 1 a 7 (pp. 27-188) e curato la bibliografia dell'opera, mentre Pier Giovanni Bresciani ha scritto l'introduzione e la posfazione.The book begins by illustrating the institutional structure of Public Employment Services at the comparative level and by analysing the relationships between public and private actors on the labour market in selected international experiences. Then the volume focuses on the main aspects of the management of the jobcentres. The last chapter is devoted to the interpretation of the legislative decree n. 150/2015, which deeply reformed the Italian system of Public Employment Services: it is analysed starting from the international experiences studied in the book. Alessandra Sartori wrote the chapters from 1 to 7 (pages 27-188) and the bibliography, while Pier Giovanni Bresciani wrote the preface and the postface

No full textNegli ultimi anni si è discusso molto di populismo e di populisti, spesso enfatizzandone il carattere antidemocratico e proponendo inefficaci analogie con gli anni Trenta e i fascismi. Questo volume indaga, sotto un profilo teorico e storico, la concezione di democrazia dei populisti, mettendola in relazione con le diverse fasi di costruzione della democrazia e con particolare attenzione per il contesto di espansione prima e di contrazione poi della globalizzazione. Social Innovation Scaling at Urban Level
No full textHow can social innovation initiatives in cities be scaled to provide systemic and enduring impact on reducing GHG emissions? Academic and practitioners’ literature offers a number of conceptualizations of social innovation scaling strategies, including the popular “scaling up, out and deep” framework. In this chapter, scaling methods are presented to support cities to amplify social innovation impact. Based on cities’ social innovation readiness level, social innovation pathways can range from preparatory phases—including capacity building and mobilizing funds—to mapping the ecosystem, and to systematically embedding social innovation for climate neutrality in all cities’ activities, including communication strategies, public procurement, circular economy, urban planning, and policy co-creation.</p
