No full textThe relationship between orthodox bioethics and bioethical legislative choices in the countries of Eastern Europe necessarily passes from the analysis of the rela- tions that in these countries exist between the State and the Churches and the role played by orthodoxy, not only understood as religion but as a cultural factor and national identity. The study of the development of abortion legislation, star- ting from Soviet Russia, on the one hand, and the current regulations in those countries of surrogacy, on the other, make us understand how the relationship between bioethics and law is not only constantly evolving, but also how it reser- ves surprises, but without betraying completely the legacies of orthodoxy

Full text linkItalia e Svizzera sono due paesi tra loro molto diversi. Questa diversità si manifesta in particolar modo nel settore della sanità, non solo a livello di organizzazione e gestione dello stesso, ma soprattutto nel diverso approccio che ciascuno dei due paesi ha rispetto al tema salute dei suoi consociati. L’esaltazione dell’autodeterminazione terapeutica operata dalla Svizzera si scontra con il paternalismo medico a cui invece rimane nostalgicamente legata l’Italia, nonostante che le esigenze della società italiana siano profondamente mutate.
Le scelte drammatiche a cui ha portato il dilagare del Covid-19 hanno però creato i presupposti per un’inevitabile inversione di tendenza da parte dell’Italia e a un suo avvicinamento alle politiche elvetiche in termini di difesa della libertà di scelta del singolo.Italy and Switzerland are two very different countries. This diversity is particularly evident in the health sector, not only in terms of its organization and management, but above all in the different approach that each country has with regard to the health of its members. The exaltation of therapeutic self-determination by Switzerland clashes with the medical paternalism to which Italy remains nostalgically linked, despite the fact that the needs of Italian society have changed profoundly. However, the dramatic choices to which the spread of Covid-19 has led have created the conditions for an inevitable reversal of the trend on the part of Italy and its approach to Swiss policies in terms of defending the freedom of choice of the individual

The main questions our research is trying to address are as follows: which are the major constraints in migration processes affecting the integration process of migrants? Do social capital or social networks play a role? Which is the integration model developed at European level?
In order to address these questions we are focusing on a specific case study: the Romanian migration process in Italy and particularly in the area of Rome
