Web service for searching the data about organic farms

    No full text
Poleg splošnega so na voljo še filtri z vnaprej podanimi opcijami: blagovna znamka, regija, poštni okraj, status kmetije, ponudba kmetije, posebnosti. Rezultat iskanja je spisek ekoloških kmetij s podatki: regija in polni naslov, kontaktna oseba, naziv in podrobnosti, kontakt, združenje, čas in kraj prodaje, pridelki in živila, povezave do predstavitvenih strani pridelovalcev, zunanjih spletnih strani in lokacij na zemljevidu Google maps. Aplikacija zajema tudi predstavitvene strani pridelovalcev ekoloških živil. Pridelovalcu omogoča prijavo ali registracijo. V administrativnem delu lahko posodablja nekatere svoje podatke in ustvari formatiran opis kmetije.Web service that enables user to use the implemented search mechanism to find the data about organic farms food offer. User can use filters to narrow search results, which are asynchronously represented on the screen. There are two types of filters. Filter »Search phrase« allows users to limit search results by entering their own words. Other filters (brand name, district, ward, farm status, farm offer, specialities) have options given in advance. Searching results is a list of organic farms with the following data: district, full address, contact person, farm title, details, contact, organisation, time and place to sell, harvest and food, links to presentation page, offsite web pages, their Google maps locations. Web application includes presentation pages for each organic food producer. Producers are able to login or register. When logged in, the user is redirected to administration page, where he or she can update some of the data and create his/her own HTML presentation

    Turk Mechanical

Turk Mechanical is a collection of digital literary artifacts created through NEM-0X, a writing machine designed to entangle, render, and instantiate different types of media after enacting a series of algorithmic processes. The artifacts contained in this collection are primarily concerned with exploring multi-scalarity, distributed cognition, relationality, embodiment, affectability, material specificity, and environmental embeddedness.M.F.A.Includes bibliographical reference

New Uses for Old Drugs: Attempts to Convert Quinolone Antibacterials into Potential Anticancer Agents Containing Ruthenium

Continuing the study of the physicochemical and biological properties of ruthenium-quinolone adducts, four novel complexes with the general formula [Ru([9]aneS3)(dmso-κS)(quinolonato-κ2O,O)](PF6), containing the quinolones levo fl oxacin (1), nalidixic acid (2), oxolinic acid (3), and cinoxacin (4), were prepared and characterized in solid state as well as in solution. Contrary to their organoruthenium analogues, these complexes are generally relatively stable in aqueous solution as substitution of the dimethylsulfoxide (dmso) ligand is slow and not quantitative, and a minor release of the quinolonato ligand is observed only in the case of 4. The complexes bind to serum proteins displaying relatively high binding constants. DNA binding was studied using UV − vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and performing viscosity measurements of CT DNA solutions in the presence of complexes 1 − 4. These experiments show that the ruthenium complexes interact with DNA via intercalation. Possible electrostatic interactions occur in the case of compound 4, which also shows the most pronounced rate of hydrolysis. Compounds 2 and 4 also exhibit a weak inhibition of cathepsins B and S, which are involved in the progression of a number of diseases, including cancer. Furthermore, complex 2 displayed moderate cytotoxicity when tested on the HeLa cell line

Natural disasters in the history of the eastern Turk empire

This article analyzes the effect of climate extremes on the historical processes that took place (AD 536, 581, 601, 626 and 679) in the Eastern Turk Empire (AD 534–745) in Inner Asia. Climate extremes are sharp, strong and sometimes protracted periods of cooling and drought caused by volcanic eruptions that in this case resulted in a negative effect on the economy of a nomadic society and were often accompanied by famine and illness. In fact, many of these natural catastrophes coincided with the Black Death pandemics among the Eastern Turks and the Chinese living in the north of China. The Turk Empire can be split into several chronological periods during which significant events that led to changes in the course of history of the nomadic state took place: AD 534–545—the rise of the Turk Empire; AD 581–583—the division of the Turk Empire into theWestern and the Eastern Empires; AD 601–603—the rise of Qimin Qaghan; AD 627–630—the Eastern Turks are conquered by China; AD 679–687—the second rise of the Eastern Turk Empire. The research shows that there is clearly-discernable interplay between important historical events and climate extremes in the history of the Turk Empire. This interplay has led us to the conclusion that the climatic factor did have an impact on the historical processes that took place in the eastern part of Inner Asia, especially on the territories with a nomadic economy. © The Author(s) 2019
