No full textEste proyecto se centró en un análisis predictivo y ambiental de las emisiones de gases de
efecto invernadero (CH4 y N2O) en los sectores agrícolas clave de Colombia: arroz, ovinos y
caprinos. Para ello, se utilizaron datos del periodo 2000-2022 y se generaron proyecciones hasta
2030. Se desarrollaron modelos estadísticos específicos para cada producto y su comportamiento
temporal: regresión lineal simple para el arroz, un modelo ARIMA para los ovinos y regresión
polinómica para los caprinos. Cada modelo fue evaluado rigurosamente con métricas como R2,
AIC, RMSE, MAE y MAPE, y validado tanto estadística como ambientalmente, siguiendo las

No full textPhDThe subject of this thesis is a study of Spain during
the First World War. The Spanish case is analyzed as the regional
version of the general crisis which engulfed the rest of Europe
during these years. This crisis was produced by the ideological
militancy and social struggle caused by four years of
devastating international conflict. It heralded the arrival of
mass politics which put an end to a previous era marked by
hierarchical and clientelist politics.
This thesis examines how the maintenance of strict
neutrality did not save the existing regime in Spain from the
impact of the conflict raging in Europe. Spain did not enter the
war but the war entered the country and, ironically, a conflict
in which Spain did not take part was to alter its contemporary
history.
The analysis explores the gradual disintegration of the
foundations of the ruling system, the Liberal Monarchy restored
in December 1874, during and as a consequence of the First World
War. Considerable attention is paid to the impact and importance
of the war in producing the decay of the Liberal Monarchy. This
process is examined at two levels: the political polarization and
subsequent division of the country which was provoked by the
debate about belligerence or neutrality, and the social and
economic transformations that Spain underwent as consequence a
of its privileged position as a supplier to both sides. The
result was galloping inflation, widespread social discontent and political turmoil. Under these pressures, the hegemonic system,
based on electoral falsification, widespread patronage and mass
apathy, collapsed and gave way to an inexorable process of
growing working class and right-wing militancy which led to the
military coup of 1923

de grano en España durante el Antiguo Régimen. Haciendo uso de series
de precios y de producción de diversa procedencia, el autor emplea técnicas
de estimación relativamente sencillas, desde correlaciones y desviaciones típicas
de series sin tendencia hasta modelos de retardos distribuidos. Estas técnicas
revelan la existencia de una covariación entre los precios de granos
en distintos mercados regionales, así como la existencia de efectos simultáneos
y retardados de la producción de granos sobre el precio de los mismos en
mercados locales y bastante más lejanos. El autor concluye que existía una
integración modesta pero en aumento de los distintos mercados en la Península,
sobre todo durante el siglo XVIII, y que las instituciones eran capaces
de amortiguar en parte los efectos de una cosecha fallida. El trabajo concluye
apuntando el calendario posible de la progresiva integración de los mercados
de grano ocurrida a lo largo de buena parte del siglo XIX en España.The present paper deals with regional grain market integration in Spain
during the Old Regime. Using mostly published price and production seríes,
the author employs straightforward statistical techniques, rangíng from correlations
and standard deviations of detrended series to distributed lag models.
These techniques show the existence of a clear covariation in the price of
grain on different regional markets, as well as both simultaneous and delayed
effects of grain production on prices both locally and at considerably greater
distances. The author concludes that regional grain markets on the peninsula
were modestly but increasingly integrated over the period, especially during
the eighteenth century, and that existing institutions were a partial buffer
for the immediate effects of harvest failures. The paper concludes by suggesting
the potential timing for the progressive intergration of grain markets taking
place throughout much of the nineteenth century in Spain.Publicad

En estos relatos se examina de qué manera los animales como eje simbólico, dan cuenta de ideas como la extranjería, la deformación de la imagen paternal, las heteropatías, entre otros. Estos cuentos describen personajes fracturados y desencantados, propios del sujeto contemporáneo latinoamericano.This work is a hermeneutic analysis of the concepts of animality and death present in the short stories of the book Hermano Ciervo, by the chilean author Juan Pablo Roncone, published in 2012. These stories
examine how animals as a symbolic axis, account for ideas such as the extraneous, the deformation of the paternal image, heteropathies, among others. No full textCurso de Especial Interés: Victimología y CriminologíaEl objetivo de este trabajo fue la creación del manual Legal Psychologist in Psychosocial Contexts and University Psychological Services (LEPSYCOUS) el cual permite establecer el perfil disciplinar del psicólogo jurídico en contextos psicosociales y servicios psicológicos universitarios; en primer lugar la definición del perfil disciplinar del psicólogo jurídico permite delimitar las funciones del mismo en los subcampos de aplicación como lo son: la psicología Victimal, Criminológica y la Psicología de la Mediación y conciliación; en segundo lugar sirve como una guía de apoyo de tipo administrativo y legal para que el psicólogo jurídico, en su ejercicio pueda cumplir de manera correcta con las funciones tanto en los contextos psicosociales como en los servicios psicológicos universitarios. A través de un enfoque auto etnográfico, el autor presenta casos reales y experiencias personales, revelando las intricaciones logísticas, legales y operativas en este campo. El análisis histórico contextualiza los avances en la logística del arte, desde la prehistoria hasta la globalización contemporánea, mientras que estudios de casos específicos, como los de Marcel Duchamp y Constantin Brâncuși, ilustran los problemas y soluciones en la práctica actual. Propuesta de Gamificación Utilizando Exelearning Para la Comprensión Lectora a Nivel Crítico en Sexto Grado Desde el Modelo Postprimaria Rural
No full textDigitalEl presente trabajo investigativo se desarrolla en torno al tema la comprensión de
lectura a nivel crítico, los participantes de la investigación fueron los estudiantes de
grado sexto de institución educativa José María Córdoba del municipio de Rioblanco
en el departamento del Tolima, con los cuales se desarrolló una secuencia didáctica
desde la herramienta eXeLearning, la cual proporcionó la posibilidad de integrar
actividades basadas en características de juego y la motivación.
El proyecto de investigación plantea como objetivo principal evaluar el proceso de
comprensión de lectura que desarrollan los estudiantes cuando se implementan
estrategias basadas en el juego y la tecnología, así mismo, la problemática
encontrada es la baja comprensión de lectura a nivel crítico, por lo cual se
implementaron diferentes instrumentos para recolectar información antes, durante
y después de la implementación de la estrategia didáctica creada.
La metodología implementada se basó en el diseño investigación – acción, el cual
está desarrollado a través de una serie de pasos que llevan a su ejecución y
retroalimentación de la misma, lo que permitió generar evidencias del proceso y
entregar un resultado basado en el trabajo arduo y constante implementado.
En general, se encontró que los procesos de comprensión de lectura asociados al
juego y la tecnología generan aspectos motivantes en los estudiantes, igualmente,
apoyan el proceso académico, teniendo en cuenta que la lectura es la base para la
comprensión de diferentes temas; así mismo, los resultados evidenciaron el avance
que se consiguió debido a la implementación de la secuencia didáctica y el proceso
realizado hacia la implementación de lectura a nivel crítico enlazados con temas
propios del área de lengua castellana, demostrando así un impacto significativo que
se logró con los estudiantes de sexto grado, considerando que algunos estudiantes
que se encontraban en nivel de aprendizaje básico y pasaron a nivel alto, por lo que
se concluye que existe una fuerte relación con la intervención del juego como
elemento de aprendizaje y finalmente, se pretende que éste se incluya con más
constancia en los procesos de enseñanza que se llevan a cabo en la institución
educativa.This research work is developed around the theme of reading comprehension at a
critical level. The participants in the research were students from the sixth grade of
José María Córdoba educational institution in the municipality of Rioblanco in the
department of Tolima, with whom a didactic sequence was developed using the
eXeLearning tool, which provided the possibility of integrating activities based on
play characteristics and motivation.
The main objective of the research project is to evaluate the reading comprehension
process developed by the students when strategies based on games and technology
are implemented. Likewise, the problem found is the low reading comprehension at
a critical level, for which different instruments were implemented to collect
information before, during and after the implementation of the didactic strategy
created.
The implemented methodology was based on the research-action design, which is
developed through a series of steps that lead to its execution and feedback, which
allowed to generate evidence of the process and deliver a result based on the hard
and constant work implemented. In general, it was found that the reading
comprehension processes associated with play and technology generate motivating
aspects in students, equally, they support the academic process, taking into account
that reading is the basis for the understanding of different topics; Likewise, the
results showed the progress that was achieved due to the implementation of the
didactic sequence and the process carried out towards the implementation of
reading at a critical level linked to topics typical of the Spanish language area, thus
demonstrating a significant impact that was achieved with sixth grade students,
considering that some students who were at a basic learning level and passed to a
high level, so it is concluded that there is a strong relationship with the intervention
of play as a learning element; finally, it is intended that this is included more
consistently in the teaching processes that take place in the educational institutionCONTENIDO

Agriculture and society in Central Mexico : the Valley of Tulancingo in the late colonial period (1700-1825)
No full textThis study provides a first approach to the economic and social history of the
Valley of Tulancingo in the late colonial period. In examining the development of
this agricultural area of central Mexico, the author discusses the broader
transformations that affected the country as a whole during the eighteenth and
early nineteenth centuries: population growth, migration, urbanization, and the
commercialization of agriculture. On this score, the study participates in the
current debate on the best way to characterize the Mexican agricultural sector at
the end of the colonial rule. Most modern historiography tends to emphasize that
demographic growth transformed the traditional balance between population
and resources and was a major cause of economic and social disruption in the
countryside. The author combines new evidence with recent findings from the
specialist literature, to argue that Tulancingo fully participated in the roster of
economic and social changes of the period. The work begins with a description of
Tulancingo's population trends and an analysis of the spatial distribution of the
population. It goes on with an analysis of the Valley's agricultural economy,
describing the complementary rural elements of Indian communities and
haciendas, and examining a series of related transformations in landholding,
marketing, and social relations. This study will be of interest to anyone
concerned with Mexican economic and social history, or the history of
agriculture
Protection of the weacker party as interpretative principle of standard contracts in Cuba
No full textEste trabajo pretende evaluar los aspectos positivos y negativos de la protección a los sujetos adherentes, frente a cláusulas dudosas o leoninas en el derecho positivo cubano, a partir de las expresiones del favor debilis como principio interpretativo en la contratación masiva. Para alcanzar dicho propósito se estudian someramente las figuras del favor debitoris y del favor debilis en la doctrina, así como algunos textos legales de otros países. Además, se analizan los criterios interpretativos más importantes que, guiados por el principio del favor debilis, deben aplicarse a los supuestos de cláusulas abusivas y cláusulas ambiguas. Finalmente, se realiza una crítica a las virtudes y deficiencias que el autor considera oportunas de acuerdo con las normas vigentes en el ordenamiento jurídico cubano.This paper intends to assess the positive and negative aspects of adhering party’s protection against dubious or unfair clauses in the Cuban Law; on the basis of the expressions of favor debilis as interpretative principle for the standardized mass contracts. To achieve this purpose, the author has briefly studied the figures of favor debitoris and favor debilis in doctrine and some statutory norms from other countries. Moreover, the most important interpretive criteria are analyzed, which guided by the principle of favor debilis, should apply to cases of unfair terms and ambiguous clauses. Finally, this article evaluates the strengths and weaknesses that the author considers relevantes, according to the current Cuban legal system
Voices of Mexico: Mexican Perspectives on Contemporary Issues
No full textThis issue of Voices of Mexico marks the second anniversary of our magazine"s new series. The eight issues published in this new series have focused on topics of current interest, particularly those affecting Canada, the United States and Mexico. We have touched on issues ofjoint concern such as pollution, the drug trade and worker migration, as well as economic questions like foreign investment, trade, the foreign debt and discussion of the North American Free Trade Agreement. Specialists representing a wide range of opinions have contributed their views on these topics, as befits a university magazine such as ours. We have also published a number of articles on the history of Mexico, a history whose richness is appreciated world-wide. Archeology has revealed astonishing cultures that flourished in the past in the region known as Mesoamerica; these cultures are comparable only to the Inca empire that arose in South America. The three centuries —known as the Viceregal or Colonial period— when Mexico belonged to the Spanish empire are striking for the fusion of European cultures brought over from Spain with those of the indigenous peoples. The process of mestizaje (the mixture of peoples) has continued through the present day. With regard to the period from Mexico"s Independence up to today, each issue of the magazine has included articles on museums that show a slice of this country "s fascinating history; we have highlighted works of the great painters of the 1910 Mexican Revolution, creators of the Muralist movement —the repercussions of which were felt around the world. In this issue we publish an article on the Pinacoteca Virreinal Museum, which exhibits works from the Colonial period"s most important schools of painting, which bring together the artistic sensibilities of our two great cultural currents. We also refer to the noteworthy contributions of pre-Hispanic authors, who through the peculiar hieroglyphic writing of their codices help us learn about, and admire the culture of, pre-Colonial times. One of the best-known painters of modern times is Diego Rivera; his daughter Guadalupe is the author of the article on this master, whose genius made a lasting mark both in Mexico and abroad. After the 1985 earthquake the National Medical Center was reconstructed, and 21st Century was added to its name. This center, which contains the most important and up-to-date devices for safeguarding patients" health, bears witness to an indomitable will to overcome catastrophes. In our previous issue we referred to the murals which grace the walls of our beautiful university. In this issue we focus on the sculptures which grace the campus grounds. Side by side with spacious classrooms, UNAM provides students, professors and researchers enjoyment of the power of our country "s art. On the world-wide problem of drugs, we reprint the first part of the introduction by Peter H. Smith to the book Drug policy in the Americas, which sheds light on one of the most serious scourges of diplomatic relations in our hemisphere: drug trafficking. Mexico upholds its hypothesis that if there were no drug consumption, there would be no production and trafficking of drugs. One of the architects who created University City (the main UNAM campus) was Mario Pani. On the occasion of his recent death, in this issue we remember him for his outstanding professional work. We also pay homage to Blas Galindo, who enriched Mexican symphonic music with his tireless creative ability. We mourn the passing of two distinguished and world-renowned figures: Mario Moreno, better known as "Cantinflas," whose many motion pictures made an impact around the world; and Cesar Chavez, the Mexican-American leader who left us the heritage of his estimable organization for defense of the labor and human rights of people of Mexican descent in the country to our north. The Center for Research on the United States of America (CISEUA) has changed its name to Center for Research on North America (CISAN) in order to include Canada in its field of study. In this issue, Mónica Verea explains the far-ranging implications of this change. When we look over the tables of contents of our first eight issues, we are pleased to observe the variety of articles on current issues, together with commentary on Mexican art, history and sociology —the basis of national identity in an increasingly interrelated world.
