Cohomology of with local integer coefficients
No full textsummary:Let \Cal Z be a set of all possible nonequivalent systems of local integer coefficients over the classifying space . We introduce a cohomology ring \bigoplus_{\Cal G\in \Cal Z} H^*(BO(n_1)\times \dots \times BO(n_m);\Cal G), which has a structure of a -graded ring, and describe it in terms of generators and relations. The cohomology ring with integer coefficients is contained as its subring. This result generalizes both the description of the cohomology with the nontrivial system of local integer coefficients of in [Č] and the description of the cohomology with integer coefficients of in [M]
On the spectrum bo ∧ tmf

In this paper, a similar split-ting of bo ^ tmf is constructed. This splitting is then used to under-stand the bo-algebra structure of botmf and allows for a description of botmf.
Film-making in socio-culturally sensitive areas : lessons from the Bo-Kaap

Recommendations to mitigate costs and enhance benefits of filming, according to the principles of sustainability, include formulating location-specific filming conditions; encouraging local involvement in the film industry; developing a film permitting bylaw; formalising a Professional Code of Conduct for film crews; and establishing an environmental and cultural trust fund for donations from film companies

Governments in the market for corporate control : evidence from M&A deals involving state-owned enterprises
No full textRecent evidence suggests that state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are increasingly taking over other firms. Such domestic or transborder acquisitions are the reverse of privatizations, where SOEs are the target of private investors. The question we ask is whether, because of the specific objectives and risks faced by governments, SOEs deviate from the benchmark of deals involving private firms on both sides of the merger and acquisition (M&A) transaction. To answer this new research question, we focus on a set of firm-level characteristics of the targets and acquirers involved in the deals. We built an original dataset of 31,479 deals in 138 countries drawing from Zephyr and Orbis (Bureau Van Dijk) data. Empirical results of multinomial logit and OLS models show that deals involving SOEs are clearly different from the benchmark of private–private deals. This is mainly due to the greater assets, higher solvency ratios, broader experience of deals, and closer proximity to targets of the acquirers (both public and private) under public–private, public–public, and private–public deals compared to private–private deals

No full textIn september 2021 is een archeologisch bureauonderzoek (BO) uitgevoerd in een plangebied aan de Voort te Reusel (gemeente Reusel-De Mierden). Het plangebied bestaat uit een tracé van ongeveer 450 m en heeft een oppervlakte van ongeveer 7590 m2 . De aanleiding van het onderzoek is de bovengrondse en ondergrondse herinrichting van de weg ter plaatse, waarbij ook de riolering wordt vervangen. Het kader van het archeologisch onderzoek is de omgevingsvergunning die hiervoor wordt aangevraagd. Het onderzoek is uitgevoerd in de vorm van een Archeologisch Bureauonderzoek (BO). Het doel van dit onderzoek is het specificeren van de archeologische verwachting van het plangebied
Characteristics of a black coral meadow in the twilight zone of the central Mediterranean Sea
No full textThe hard substrata of the Mediterranean twilight zone commonly host the large, white,
branched Antipathella subpinnata (Antipatharia, Myriopathidae). We discovered one of the largest populations of this black coral ever recorded in the Mediterranean Sea, forming a meadow of thousands of colonies in the deep waters off the Calabrian coast (South Italy, Tyrrhenian Sea). The meadow extends from 50 to 100 m depth and is a mixed assemblage of black coral and gorgonian colonies showing specific bathymetric ranges. Antipatharians inhabit the northern slopes of the explored rocky pinnacles receiving the northward moving current of the Strait of Messina. Up to 44% of the black corals are colonized by several encrusting epibionts. A. subpinnata deserves protection since it creates an important 3-dimensional habitat and represents the most characteristic component of the lower fringe of the circalittoral twilight environment in the Mediterranean Sea

Inoltre queste analisi hanno fornito importanti dati sull’economia dell’area, sulle attività di trasformazione dei prodotti agricoli e sulla dieta alimentare nei diversi periodi storici indagati
