The project Endrod 19 represents a complex, integrate joint work in collaboration with the Institute of Archaeology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The site ranging from the pre-Scythian to the Sarmatian age constitutes a typical example of the steppic character of settlement, mainly constituted by pit-houses, channels etc., a sort of Pit-Archaeology

The poetics of being
Get PDFThe aim of The Poetics of Being is to inquire into how the apperception of the Being of beings is produced. We will recognize this production not primarily in philosophy, but in a medium accessible to us all, theatre. Although the Romantic tradition of literary criticism from Herder to Bloom has noted that Shakespeare produces an exceptional sense of what is [true], so much so that he is said to create the impression of nature or life, no one has so far attempted to show how precisely Shakespeare affects this experience. Contrary to T. S. Eliot, who is unable to discern any kind of poetics in Shakespeare's plays, we have discovered an insistent and consistent pattern of inadequation, a kind of mismatch. The thesis argues, that the predominant tropes of inadequation are falsity, dissimilarity, nothing, indefinition, elision and substitution. We shall show that these figures of inadequation are the universal means by which Shakespeare, almost imperceptibly, compels the spectator to infer the apperception of what is [true].
On the basis of these tropes of inadequation the thesis makes the fundamental philosophical claim that the cognition of Being through non-Being is a negative form of what Heidegger calls the ontological difference. We call this the negative ontological difference. The thesis demonstrates that with the exception of some Pre-Socratic thinkers, Plato in the Sophist, the work of Pseudo-Dionysius, and the writings of Derrida, the bulk of the tradition of Western philosophy has argued Being in terms of positivities. While the thesis does not question the possibility of realizing the ontological difference in a positive fashion, as does Heidegger's philosophy of unconcealment, the thesis claims that the negative ontological difference, or ontological contradiction, is the more forceful process by which we become aware of what is [true]

Les arcs de triomphe d’Arles

The author of this article takes a new look at a question which has been much debated over the last century, concerning the three Roman arches at Arles. The only documentation on these arches consists in a few ancient texts and some membra disjecta which authorise several different restitutions. For the present author, the « Arc Admirable » to the north of the town is probably a quadrifons, dating from the era of Augustus. The municipal arch, located on the road to Italy, is probably a single arch structure dating from the end of the reign of Augustus (5-14 A.D.). The « Arc du Rhône », marking the passage of the river Rhone, is probably the oldest arch.

Trade Credit, Collateral Liquidation and Borrowing Constraints
Get PDFThe paper proposes a model of collateralized bank and trade credit. Firms use a two-input technology. Assuming that the supplier is better able to extract value from existing assets and has an information advantage over other creditors, the paper derives a series of predictions. (1) Financially unconstrained firms (with unused bank credit lines) take trade credit for a liquidation motive. (2) The reliance on trade credit does not depend on credit rationing, if inputs are liquid enough. (3) Firms buying goods make more purchases on account than those buying services, while suppliers of services offer more trade credit than those of standardized goods. (4) Suppliers lend inputs to their customers but not cash. (5) Greater reliance on trade credit is associated with more intensive use of tangible inputs. No full textThe author questions the fact of opposing traditional teaching pedagogy and alternative teaching pedagogy when it deals with the questions related to the passing on of knowledge. His study for his doctoral thesis focuses on the written traces that precisely the adults who intend to go into teaching have kept from their school life and, while exploring them, focuses on the personal relation to knowledge these people have built. This meeting of moments between the clinic knowledge and the hermeneutics of the person can help the teacher in his search for better positioning reconciling opposites so that all kinds of teaching work turns out to be an alternative to one’s own real life.L’auteur remet en question l’opérationnalité de l’opposition pédagogies traditionnelles/ pédagogies alternatives dans le traitement des questions liées à la transmission. Sa recherche de thèse s’intéresse aux traces écrites que les individus adultes, notamment ceux qui se destinent à devenir professeurs, ont conservées de leur parcours scolaire, et à travers leur exploration, au rapport au savoir que les sujets ont construit. Cette rencontre des moments, entre clinique du savoir et herméneutique de la personne, peut aider le pédagogue dans sa recherche d’un positionnement conciliant les contraires.
