Analysing ocean wave data for improved planning of future offshore renewable energy
Climate change is impacting people, industries and economies to ever greater degrees. One of the rapidly growing industries impacted by climate change is offshore wind energy. Numerous studies have shown a wide range of climate change impacts on the offshore wind resource. However, other potential impacts of climate change are less understood. This thesis investigated climate change impacts on installation and maintenance of offshore wind farms. Installation and maintenance each account for 20-25% of offshore wind farm lifecycle costs, and these activities significantly depend on ocean wave conditions. Wave reanalysis datasets, like ERA5, are often used to assess long-term wave climate. This thesis assessed the accuracy of the ERA5 wave dataset as a source of global ground-truth significant wave height data. The author showed that ERA5 tends to underestimate significant wave height above 5 m. The ERA5 accuracy increases with the increasing distance to shore, and is higher in more recent years. These findings informed the use of the ERA5 wave data in combination with atmospheric data from eight CMIP6 climate models to train a neural network to produce wave climate projections. The large size of the dataset, which included global 3-hour data for five variables (including significant wave height), hindered learning of the feed-forward neural network. Since the neural network failed to produce acceptable wave climate projections, an ensemble of existing numerical projections was used to quantify impacts of climate change on accessibility - the fraction of time when the weather does not impede installation and maintenance of offshore structures. This ensemble consisted of 11 wave simulations from the COWCLIP project, where wave models were forced with atmospheric data from seven CMIP5 climate models. This study found that accessibility is projected to increase in the North Atlantic and Asia, but decrease in Central America and in some cases in Australia and on the western North American coast. Most of the accessibility increase in the North Atlantic comes in the winter months, suggesting lengthening of the traditional maintenance season

THE SUMMARY

Viktoriia Lavrishcheva
«A problem of translation of the emotional component of French belles-lettres in Russian (based on the texts of the XX-XXI centuries)».
In this paper the author studies the methods of translation of emotional component in French belles-lettres translated in Russian, especially the interjections.
The paper has two chapters, an introduction, a conclusion and a bibliography.
In the introduction the author justifies the choice of the subject, makes hypothesis and sets the objectives. The problem of the translation of interjections is especially interesting considering that it has not been studied in detail, however the interjections present some difficulties for translators.
The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical questions of the description of such phenomena, as the emotionality and the expressivity in language. Further the author talks about so-called emotive phrases, especially about the interjectional phrases which are the most interesting for the author. The basic characteristics of interjections, some classifications and the basic problems of their translation are also considered.
In the second chapter the author makes the analysis of examples (427 examples in total, 92 of them appear in the paper). The paper is based on French texts of the XX-XXI centuries of the writers such as A. Gide, R. Rolland, R. Queneau, H. Troyat, A. Nothomb, F. Beigbeder, A. Gavalda. Having used one of the standard classifications of interjections (primary and secondary), the author has divided the examples on two big groups and has tried to reveal and describe the regularities of their translation.
In the conclusion the results are summed up.
The importance of the paper consists in possibility of being used by belles-lettres translators

Real Contract As Judicial Structure. Legal Nature of Real Contract
In this article the author explores the nature of real contract. Real contract is a contract that is concerned to be concluded only after transfer of agreement object. There is determined that the legislator does not define clearly which of the contracts are real. There is mentioned that a contract is considered to be concluded from the moment of money transfer only in the regulations of loan, bank credit and deposit. The author considers that such cases are not sufficient for creation too artificial classification on consensual and real contracts which is contrary to the essence of contract and obligation in contract law theory and the principle of it «pacta sunt servanda». At the same time a real contract causes significant legal consequences: there is no relationship even with the concluded contract, it occurs only after things transfer. The author has investigated that the moment of conclusion of certain contracts coincides with contract objects transfer but that fact does not make them real. Transfer of property is an action for exercising of contract obligation but not a stage of contract concluding. As a result of research the author argues that there is necessity to refuse from the classification of contracts for real and consensual. The practical significance of such classification is not clear. Existence of real contract is contrary to the legal nature of the contract, undermines its importance as a legal fact and the basis of relationship. However the author notes that there can be requested transfer of contract object immediately at the moment of contract conclusion as a prerequisite for purchaser interest. Such cases should be clearly defined in legislative act and can not be based on theoretical classifications
Methodological aspects of suggested practices for future music teachers training in performance
The article discusses the use of suggestive techniques, which by influencing future music arts teachers' conscious and subconscious minds through verbal and nonverbal cues as well as external and internal means of influence, will help them reveal their inner potential, foster their capacity for original thought, and put their skills to use in real-world situations. The author presents his or her own interpretation of the term "suggestive technique in the music-performing training of future music teachers" and outlines numerous realms of the use of suggestive techniques, in particular, in the process of educating future music teachers. The author also provides methodological advancements for conducting creative music-performing activities, including suggestopedic self-training of self-regulation skills and suggestopedic method for developing the skills in artistic interpretation of a musical work, which is presented as a chain of suggestopedic classes, where each stage corresponds to a particular interpretation phase. Additionally, it should be noted that the developed methodological toolkit, which combines a variety of suggestive techniques with a variety of methods, tools, and approaches to art education, as well as the varied ways in which these methods are applied during the course of students' professional training, provides for the effective execution of pedagogical influence on independence and task performance. It's true that the addition of typical suggestopedic class formats (concert sessions, classes involving related arts, class performances, storytelling, and play sessions) to the methodological toolbox gives the interpretive processes additional aesthetic coloring. This, along with the globalization of the learning material, has caused an overall reevaluation of artistic interpretation techniques for musical works. The research was conducted at Donbas State Pedagogical University. 90 future primary school teachers and 40 university lecturers are involved in the research work that includes the use of social networks for developing cognitive, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills while studying the university courses. The research results are presented as the comparative analysis of the indicators of future teachers’ cognitive, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills which were obtained at the initial (2014) and final (2018) stages of the experimental programme. The author analyses the research results according to five blocks: students’ preference and motivation to use electronic social networking sites; the use of the electronic social networking sites for developing the cognitive skills; the use of the electronic social networking sites for developing creative skills; the use of the electronic social networking sites for developing collaborative skills; the use of the electronic social networking sites for developing communicative skills. The author claims that future teachers’ digital competence improves while taking part in individual and group learning; in personal learning; while using social networks for the purpose of informing about the university events, for conducting extracurricular activities, non-formal and informal education, project activities etc. It was proved that the conditions, which contribute to the successful implementation of social networking sites in the educational process of higher educational institution, include an active, conscious and cultural use of electronic social networking sites by students, as well as university lecturers’ understanding and concern about implementing these educational digital resources in their professional activities.
Neapibrėžtumo vengimo ir individualizmo/kolektyvizmo moderuojanti įtaka ryšiui tarp rizikos vengimo, pasitikėjimo, technofobijos ir ketinimo pirkti internetu.
59 pages, 25 tables, 4 figures, 219 references, 17 annexes. The purpose of this master thesis is to study the moderating effect of uncertainty avoidance and individualism/collectivism on the relationship between risk aversion, dispositional trust, technophobia, and intention to purchase online. The master thesis consists of the following parts: analysis of literature, research and its results, and conclusions and recommendations drawn based on results of analysis. In the literature analysis, the author reviews theoretical background and previous studies for such concepts as risk aversion, dispositional trust, and technophobia, and cultural dimensions as uncertainty avoidance and individualism/collectivism, and impact they might have on intention to purchase online. Based on literature review, the author develops research model and hypotheses, and carries out the survey in form of online questionnaire. The purpose of questionnaire was to find out respondents’ level of risk aversion, dispositional trust, technophobia, PU, PEOU, attitude towards online purchasing and intention to purchase online, so that afterwards evaluate how the proposed within hypotheses relations work. Further results were evaluated, compared with previous research results and conclusions and recommendations written down. The analyses were performed in SPSS program. The reliability of received results was confirmed by Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient, which was higher than 0.65, which indicates that all scales used in current research were consistent. To check relations and impacts, the author uses Pearson’s correlation coefficient, regression analysis, and process procedure for SPSS of Andrew F. Hayes to check moderation effects. By performed analysis, the author finds out that risk aversion and technophobia have negative effect on intention to purchase online, while dispositional trust has positive effect on it; however, dispositional trust has to be found has no effect directly through perceived-ease-of-use but influence only through perceived usefulness. Results show that uncertainty avoidance lessens proposed relations between PU, PEOU, attitude towards online purchasing and intention to purchase online, and moderation reinforcement effect of individualism/collectivism was found to be significant only for relation between attitude towards purchasing online and intention to purchase online. In the conclusions and recommendations, the author sums up the received results comparing them to previous studies, summarizes the most important and relevant findings, and proposes future possible directions of results implementations and further research
Concept And Features Of A Shareholders’ Agreement
In the article the author explores the concept of a shareholders’ agreement and examines its main characteristics, which consist of: 1) the features inherent in a shareholders’ agreement as an act; 2) signs that distinguish this agreement from other contractual constructions. The latter consists primarily of the subject of the agreement. Taking into account the peculiarity of the subject of the explored agreement, the author concludes that the agreement between the shareholders has a corporate nature, and at the same time is an action between two and more per-sons, and despite all its specificity, is a kind of civil law contract. Therefore, the definition of a shareholders’ agreement should be formulated based on a general understanding of the categories of «transaction» and «contract», distinguishing it from other contracts with the help of outlining the specifics of the subject of the contract. The author proposes to define a shareholders’ agreement as a legal transac-tion containing a multilateral agreement of the participants of a legal entity of a corporate type aimed at the effective management of their corporate rights by de-fining the procedure for their implementation in order to coordinate activities and implement common legal interests protected in this area
