Para esta oportunidad comparte escenario con Simon Mulligan quien a los 19 años hizo su debut en el Barbican Hall con la Orquesta Filarmónica Real; un mes después grabó su primer disco compacto bajo la dirección de Yehudi Menuhin y así empezó una colaboración y amistad de siete años que culminó con el último concierto del Lord Menuhin en Dusseldorf.
