Development of a Wireless Power Transfer Circuit Based on Inductive Coupling
Wireless electrical energy transfer has many advantages over the same through conducting cables. This research focusses on developing wireless power transfer circuitusing inductive coupling. The experiment has been done by changing the number of turns and the diameter of the wire of a coil with the aim of finding the maximum power and the longest distancethat the energy can be transferred through wireless means. The power source is connected to a series of electronics components and a copper coil which form the primary source for the transmitter the power receiver consists of a copper coil, a rectifier and the load. In a system with the diameter of the wires of the two coils is0.5 mm, and the number of turns is 26 at the frequency of 470KHz the efficiency of power transfer about 1.51% at a distance of 1 cm. The transferred energy by wireless means could operate a 1 Watt LED at 1 cm
Penggunaan Extended Kalman Filter Sebagai Estimator Sikap pada Sistem Kendali Servo Visual Robot
Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) is the non-linear version of Kalman filter and the said filter is usually used in nonlinear state estimation. In this study EKF is applied to process the image features of a single camera mounted on the end effector of a robot. Data generated by the EKF then is to be processed to obtain the motion parameters. Simulation of visual servo control system was built with the aim to examine the use of the EKF as a pose estimator. The simulation results using Matlab show that the EKF is able to well estimate the robot pose
Implementation of Project Based Learning in Mechatronic Lab Course at Bandung State Polytechnic
Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary that includes a combination of mechanics, electronics, control systems, and computer science. The main objective of mechatronics learning is to establish a comprehensive mindset in the development of mechatronic systems. Project Based Learning (PBL) is an appropriate method for use in the learning process of mechatronic. The use of PBL by following the V model in system development process is expected to encourage the achievement of the main goal of learning in mechatronics lab. Demonstration of knowledge during the practical work done by drafting product development procedures documents, presentations, and project demo. The test result of mechatronics lab course based on PBL in Electronics Engineering Bandung State Polytechnic led to the conclusion that the model is acceptable and desirable to be passed with a few improvements. In addition, learners also feel there is a new challenge in following the PBL-based practicum
SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN PEKERJAAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE FUZZY MAMDANI STUDI KASUS: AMIK BSI TASIKMALAYA
Abstract - The Policy in taking a decision on a particular issue is not an easy thing, because it needs to be a consideration that is expected to help justify certain decisions must be taken. Likewise, the handling of the problem of determining employment options for someone to work according to their talents and interests. Someone who will be joining or working in a company the necessary things that need to be considered are of such quality and age, GPA quality and desired salary of the person. Job Selection Decision Support System is the most appropriate for handling problems that require independent completion of a computer for someone who input the data processing data with efficient and accurate calculations. By using Mamdani Fuzzy Logic reasoning in the processing of data input and output, as well as supporting information in the form of Recommendation job what is right for the person.

Abstraksi - Kebijaksanaan dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan pada permasalahan tertentu bukan lah hal yang mudah, karena perlu dilakukan pertimbangan yang diharapkan dapat membantu memberikan alasan keputusan tertentu tersebut harus diambil. Begitu juga penanganan masalah dalam penentuan pilihan pekerjaan bagi seseorang. Pemilihan jenis pekerjaan seharusnya disesuaikan dengan kemampuan dan minat yang dimiliki seseorang. Seseorang yang akan bekerja pada sebuah perusahaan mempertimbangkan umur, IPK, dan gaji yang diinginkan.Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Pekerjaan yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat membantu calon pekerja dalam menentukan pilihannya. Penalaran Logika Fuzzy Mamdani digunakan untuk memproses data masukan yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk menghasilkan keluaran berupa rekomendasi pekerjaan apa yang tepat bagi seseorang

Hardware Simulation of Rear-End Collision Avoidance System Based on Fuzzy Logic
Rear-end collisions are the most common type of traffc accident. On the highway, a real-end collision may involve more than two vehicles and cause a pile-up or chain-reaction crash. Referring to data released by the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), rear-end collisions which occurred throughout 2010 constituted as much as 43.65% of all collisions. In most cases, these rear-end collisions are caused by inattentive drivers, adverse road conditions and poor following distance. The Rear-end Collision Avoidance System (RCAS) is a device to help drivers to avoid rear-end collisions. The RCAS is a subsystem of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADASs) and became an important part of the driverless car. This paper discusses a hardware simulation of a RCAS based on fuzzy logic using a remote control car. The Mamdani method was used as a fuzzy inference system and realized by using the Arduiono Uno microcontroller system. Simulation results showed that the fuzzy logic algorithm of RCAS can work as designed
Single identity in check-in using NFC in airport
One of the concerns related to airline services is the long time for transactions such as, the check-in process, due to the time required for each transaction and the number of transactions for each passenger. Also, the conventional check-in process also requires paper which its use is rapidly rising due to the increasing number of passengers. In this study, an NFC based system was applied to accelerate transactions and to reduce the use of paper. This study was theoretical research focusing on the implementation of mobile transaction in airports and NFC-based single identity. Little research discussing the check-in process in airports has focused on the use of SI. Many studies on the use of NFC are mainly about tracking baggage and baggage claim, yet they do not include the check-in process. This study found that the implementation of SI could accommodate the check-in process in airports and decrease the redudancy of passenger data. The result revealed that the application could uitilise SI to retrieve the citizenship data and reservation data, and check-in data. It could be concluded that the use of NFC in aiports could ease data management, shorten the check-in process, and validate citizenship data using with reservation data
Fault Tolerant Air Bubble Sensor using Triple Modular Redundancy Method
Detection of air bubbles in the blood is important for various medical treatments that use Extracorporeal Blood Circuits (ECBC), such as hemodialysis, hemofiltration and cardio-pulmonary bypass. Therefore a reliable air bubble detector is needed. In this study designed a fault tolerant air bubble detector. Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) method is used on the sensor section. A voter circuit of the TMR will choose one of three sensor output to be processed further. Application of TMR will prevent errors in the detection of air bubbles, especially if the sensor fails to work
The Role of Freehand Drawing in Architectural Design Process
Günümüzde çizim terimi, geniş anlamda yalnızca grafik görüntü ile bir nesneyi
temsil etme etkinliği olarak değil, genel olarak yaratıcı öneriler için iletişimi kolaylaştıran
bir etkinlik anlamıyla da giderek daha fazla kabul görmektedir. Yaratıcı süreci
incelemenin en zorlu yönlerinden biri, tasarımcıların benzersiz ve yaratıcı fikirleriyle, halk
tarafından yaygın olarak hissedilebilecek değerler arasında dengeli bir fikir
geliştirebilmesidir.
Serbest çizim yapmak, zihni, gözleri ve elleri beyin, vücut sensörleri ile dengeli
çalışma koordinasyonu içinde tutmanın ve yaratıcı fikirleri anlamanın, değerlendirmenin
ve sağlamanın değerli bir yöntemi gibi hissetmenin en iyi yoludur. Serbest çizim, sadece
fikri iletmenin bir yolu değil, aynı zamanda bir tasarım sürecine eşlik ederken mimari bir
sorunu çözmenin bir yolunu da sunmaktadır. Bilimin bir parçası olarak, özellikle bir
mimar için, bu etkinliğin aynı zamanda insanların düşünce ve ifadelerinin çeşitli
karakterini kabul ederken etkili bir çizim sisteminin bir yolu olarak planlanması
gerekecektir.
Bu çalışma, mimari tasarım süreci boyunca yeteneği geliştirmenin yanı sıra
uygun çizim uygulamaları ve faaliyetleri hakkında fikirler sağlamada serbest çizim
yönteminin yerini inceler. Eylem araştırmalarının metodolojisi, serbest çizim öğrenme
sürecini aktarmak için kullanılmıştır. Yazar deneyimleri ile birlikte, bu çalışma, amaçlarla
ve bu çalışmayı geliştirme ihtiyaçlarıyla ilgili katılımcıları içeren açıklayıcı - işbirlikçi bir
metodoloji içinde yürütülmektedir.The term of drawing nowadays is increasingly understood in a broad sense, not just
known as an activity to representing an object by the graphic image, but as an activity
that facilitates communication for creative proposes in general. One of the most
challenging aspects of studying creative process is that designers can develop a
balanced can develop balanced ideas between values that can be felt commonly by the
public, with unique and creative ideas from a designer.
Practising freehand drawing is still the best way to maintain the mind, the
eyes, and the hands in balanced working coordination with the brain, body sensors and
feeling like a valuable method of understanding, evaluating and providing imaginative
ideas. Freehand drawing, not just a way to communicate the idea, but also offering a
way to solve the architectural problem in accompanying a design process. As part of
science, especially for an architect, this activity will also need to be planned as a way
of effective drawing system while accommodating the varied character of people's
thinking and expression.
This study examines how the method of freehand drawing in improving the
ability along the architectural design process, as well as providing ideas of appropriate
drawing practices and activities. The methodology of action research was used to
convey the freehand drawing learning process. Combination with author experiences,
this study is conducted a descriptive – collaborative methodology, which is involving
respondents who are relevant to the objectives and to the needs of developing this
study
