No full textNeste trabalho buscamos discutir a representação da mulher, propagada no Jornal
Daqui jornal regional da cidade de Goiânia na seção Gente Famosa e também
na seção Artista Lá de Casa. Pretendeu-se perceber o perfil dessas mulheres e as
formas de tratamento sobre o corpo feminino expressas no jornal. Para o suporte
teórico utilizamos definições sobre gênero a partir de Joan Scott, cultura visual com
Ulpiano Bezerra de Meneses e o conceito de representação de Roger Chartier. A
metodologia utilizada é a análise de imagens veiculadas pelo Jornal Daqui das
edições do dia internacional da mulher e do dia das mães, dos anos de 2009 a2014.
Nossa análise se pauta na perspectiva dos estudos de gênero na medida em que
buscamos refletir sobre certos dogmas e conceitos estabelecidos através dos papéis
destinados a homens e a mulheres. Ao analisar as imagens veiculadas pelo Jornal
Daqui, na seção Artista Lá de Casa, percebe-se uma diferença das imagens
veiculadas na seção anterior, Gente Famosa, buscamos então captar os valores
conceituais e simbólicos que são passados para os consumidores do jornal através
da leitura dessas imagens. A forma como o Jornal Daqui expõe a imagem da
mulher, sem dúvida, influencia na forma que os consumidores homens e mulheres
se reconhecem e são reconhecidos na sociedade. Ao expor representações do
corpo feminino, em especifico, o Jornal Daqui participa da construção das
representações desses corpos, no caso o das mulheres.In this work we aimed to discuss the representation of woman, in order to be
propagated in Jornal Daqui- regional newspaper in Goiania. In Gente famosa
section and also Artista lá de casa section. It was intended to notice the profile of
these women and the forms of treatment about the female body expressed in the
newspaper.For the theoretical support, were used definitions about gender from
Joan Scott, visual culture with Ulpiano Bezerra de Meneses and the concept of
representation of Roger Chartier. The methodology used it is the analysis of images
transmitted by the Jornal Daqui from editions of International Womens Day and
Mothers Day, the years from 2009- 2014.Our analysis is guided from the
perspective of gender studies according as we seek to reflect about certain dogmas
and concepts established through roles for men and women. By analyzing the
images transmitted by Jornal Daqui, in Artista Lá de Casa section, it is noticed a
difference between the images conveyed in the previous section, Gente Famosa, we
aimed to capture the conceptual and symbolic values that are passed to the
newspaper consumers by the reading of these images.The way the Jornal Daqui
exposes the image of woman, undoubtedly, influence the way the consumers men
and women recognize and are recognized in the society.By exposing representation
of the female body, in specific, the Jornal Daqui, participates of the creation of
representations of these bodies in case of women
Biblioteca habitada : relato da comemoração da semana nacional do livro e da biblioteca na Universidade Federal de Goiás- Regional cidade de Goiás.
No full textEsse trabalho explana sobre a Semana Nacional do Livro e da Biblioteca da Universidade Federal de Goiás, Seccional Regional Goiás realizada nos dias 25,26 e 27 de outubro de 2017. A programação foi constituída por palestras, cineteca (exibição de filme), oficina de jongo, lançamento de livro, oficina de origami, hora do conto, sarau, exposições. A programação diversificada teve como objetivo atrair o público universitário e também a comunidade que frequenta a biblioteca como as crianças. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva no formato de relato de experiência, a partir dos resultados obtidos com as ações realizadas que evidenciaram a importância da realização de ações culturais, considerando o número de usuários em potencial e os usuários frequentadores cotidianos da biblioteca. Nesse sentido, tais ações contribuirão para a promoção da biblioteca e interação dos usuários

No full textNeste artigo, nos propomos a apresentar ações educativas realizadas durante a Semana da Consciência Negra que ocorreu entre os dias 19 a 23 de novembro do ano de 2019, na Biblioteca Seccional Prof. Geraldo Faria Campos localizada no Centro de Ensino e Pesquisa Aplicada à Educação, da Universidade Federal de Goiás. O evento foi realizado nas dependências da biblioteca com o objetivo de destacar obras de algumas escritoras negras e problematizar, em rodas de conversa com as crianças, temas importantes para refletirmos sobre representatividade, diversidade cultural, social, étnica e racial, a partir dos livros que compõem o acervo, em especial os livros de literatura infantil e juvenil. Trata-se de um artigo de cunho descritivo por meio do qual buscamos evidenciar os resultados obtidos mediante ações realizadas e ainda demostrar a relevância de tais ações para a promoção da biblioteca em relação às temáticas antirracistas e inclusivas. Compreendemos que a biblioteca tem o papel fundamental de promover debates e estratégias

Competência pode ser compreendida como o conjunto de habilidades, conhecimentos e técnicas para desenvolver uma atividade. A E- Science surge para facilitar a captura, analise e a curadoria dos dados científicos. Esta pesquisa é classificada como exploratória, usamos a técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica. Buscamos, selecionar e analisar textos referentes a E-Science e competências do profissional bibliotecário (a). As análises das bibliografias referentes ao tema revelam que as competências essenciais do profissional bibliotecário (a) proposta pela Classificação Brasileira de Ocupações podem ser adaptadas com o contexto da E-Science
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. No full textNeste trabalho buscamos observar como os bibliotecários (as) são compreendidos pelos usuários de bibliotecas universitárias federais. O estudo foi realizado em duas bibliotecas universitárias, na região norte, Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT). E na região centro oeste, Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). A metodologia utilizada possui uma abordagem pelo método quantitativo (survey) e qualitativo. Para a coleta de dados foram aplicados questionários nas respectivas bibliotecas das instituições (UFT) e (UFG). A amostra foi composta por seis perguntas fechadas, as perguntas compõem uma relação direta sobre a profissão do bibliotecário (a) bem como as características sobre o seu perfil, relacionado à construção da autoimagem do bibliotecário universitário
