An efficient security framework, vulnerabilities, and defense mechanisms in LoraWAN
The rapid expansion of cloud computing within business environments, along with the increasing complexity of organizational deployments, has led to a surge in cloud-based attacks on computer networks. These attacks exploit security vulnerabilities and systemic breaches. This study explores robust defense mechanisms by leveraging policy-based configurations and rule enforcement on edge network devices. These mechanisms were tested using GNS3 simulations to strengthen internal and external infrastructures against critical threats such as ICMP, CDP, and port security attacks
ENGLISH-DIALOGUE AS LIBERATION: ASGHAR ALI ENGINEER’S DIALOGICAL PROCESS FOR RELIGIO-CULTURAL HARMONY AND PEACE
This paper focuses on the contribution of Asghar Ali Engineer’s services, views and his methodology of liberation and emancipation of human beings from unreasonable shackles of religious restraints through dialogue, as the best method for liberation from all sorts of sufferings and troubles, with the references to modern Quranic exegesis and the traditions of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He contributed in praxis for the settlement of socio-religious and communal issues and had the vision to reduce the disputes and differences of such clashes through dialogue. He argues that the Quran condemns the superiority of one’s race and faith, and it determines to liberate people from injustice, oppression, and inequality. He concludes that the message of the Quran is, first, to liberate people from suffering, and second to build the good relations with other people of faiths. The Quran, according to Engineer, suggests that there is no compulsion in religion, he openly invites for dialogue to understand and respect each other to build communal, cultural and religious harmony and peaceful coexistence

Pneumonia Disease Detection Using Chest X-Rays and Machine Learning
Pneumonia is a deadly disease affecting millions worldwide, caused by microorganisms and environmental factors. It leads to lung fluid build-up, making breathing difficult, and is a leading cause of death. Early detection and treatment are crucial for preventing severe outcomes. Chest X-rays are commonly used for diagnoses due to their accessibility and low costs; however, detecting pneumonia through X-rays is challenging. Automated methods are needed, and machine learning can solve complex computer vision problems in medical imaging. This research develops a robust machine learning model for the early detection of pneumonia using chest X-rays, leveraging advanced image processing techniques and deep learning algorithms that accurately identify pneumonia patterns, enabling prompt diagnosis and treatment. The research develops a CNN model from the ground up and a ResNet-50 pretrained model This study uses the RSNA pneumonia detection challenge original dataset comprising 26,684 chest array images collected from unique patients (56% male, 44% females) to build a machine learning model for the early detection of pneumonia. The data are made up of pneumonia (31.6%) and non-pneumonia (68.8%), providing an effective foundation for the model training and evaluation. A reduced size of the dataset was used to examine the impact of data size and both versions were tested with and without the use of augmentation. The models were compared with existing works, the model’s effectiveness in detecting pneumonia was compared with one another, and the impact of augmentation and the dataset size on the performance of the models was examined. The overall best accuracy achieved was that of the CNN model from scratch, with no augmentation, an accuracy of 0.79, a precision of 0.76, a recall of 0.73, and an F1 score of 0.74. However, the pretrained model, with lower overall accuracy, was found to be more generalizable

Dynamic risk spillovers and portfolio risk management between precious metals and global foreign exchange markets
This study examines portfolio management and risk spillovers between four major precious metals (gold, silver, palladium and platinum) and 20 important U.S. exchange markets. To this end, we employ the multivariate DECO-GARCH model and the spillover index developed by Diebold and Yilmaz (2014, 2016) to examine the spillovers between those metal prices and the exchange rates and design portfolios and hedging strategies using different risk measures. The results show evidence of weak average conditional equicorrelations among the considered markets over time, excluding the turbulent 2008–2010 period. Furthermore, the precious metals (excluding platinum) and the currencies (with the exception of the Australian, Brazilian, Denmark, Euro, Mexican, Norwegian, New Zealand and Swedish currencies) are net receivers of shocks. Finally, the four precious metals provide strong risk and downside risk reductions, underscoring the usefulness of including precious metals in a traditional foreign exchange-dominated portfolio. The fourth author (Alanoud Ali S A Al-Maadid) acknowledges the financial support by Qatar University internal research grant [QUCP-CBE-2018-1]. تعليقات الشيخ عبدالرحمن السرهندي علی تفسير الجلالين (دراسة تحليلية نقدية)
This research paper is designed to describe the exegetical distinctions of Allama Abdur Rahman Sirhindi. A descriptive and analytical study of Allama Abdul Rehman's manuscript of annotations and footnotes on Tafsir Jalalain came under discussion. The methodology adopted by the author is critically and analytically evaluated in an objective and subjective manner. A cursory glance at this tafsir brings its readers that it is the crux of baidhavi, Tabari, Nasafi and Fath al Qadir of the classical Islamic Tafaseer. Moreover, the writer has quoted Mulla Kashifi's Tafsir e Hussaini, which is considered as a scholastic exegesis of Persian literature, the author has amply used Arabic and Persian poetic verses in the elaboration of Qur'anic themes. It is worth mentioning that the writer has explicitly mentioned mystical connotations of the Qur'anic verses as approved by the well-known scholars of Islam. The overall impression of it is of tafsir bil-mathur. However, Modern challenges and issues of the human society has also been highlighted and various solutions have been suggested in a pragmatic way
