    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri verba transitif dan proses pembentukan verba transitif bahasa Pakpak Dairi. Verba transitif adalah verba yang memerlukan nomina sebagai objek dalam kalimat aktif, dan objek itu dapat berfungsi sebagai subjek dalam kalimat pasif. Teori yang digunakan untuk mencari ciri-ciri verba adalah teori yang dikemukakan oleh Alwi (2003) dan Chaer (2008), untuk mencari proses pembentukan verba transitif menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Basaria (2002) dan Soedjito (2014). Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dan metode cakap. Metode simak didukung dengan menggunakan teknik dasar sadap dengan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik simak libat cakap, dan metode cakap didukung dengan menggunakan teknik dasar berupa teknik pancing dengan teknik lanjutan berupa teknik cakap semuka dan teknik rekam. Penganalisisan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode agih, analisis data dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan teknik lesap dan teknik sisip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa verba transitif bahasa Pakpak Dairi dapat diamati melalui perilaku semantis, sintaksis dan dari segi bentuknya. Proses pembentukan verba transitif BPD terdiri dari afiksasi dan pengulangan. Pada proses afiksasi verba transitif BPD dibentuk dengan membubuhkan afiks.     Skripsi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan makna dan nilai-nilai budaya dalam umpasa pada upacara adat saur matua masyarakat Batak Toba. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori antropolinguistik, teori makna, teori nilai-nilai budaya, dan teori umpasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode simak dan metode cakap. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah makna umpasa pada upacara adat saur matua masyarakat Batak Toba ada dua yaitu makna menasihati sebanyak 24% dan makna mengharapkan sesuatu sebanyak 76 %. Makna membandingkan dan makna mengejek tidak terdapat dalam umpasa pada upacara adat saur matua masyarakat Batak Toba. Nilai budaya yang ditemukan dalam umpasa pada upacara adat saur matua masyarakat Batak Toba ada sepuluh yaitu nilai budaya religi sebanyak 11%, nilai budaya kesejahteraan sebanyak 28%, nilai budaya kesehatan sebanyak 14 %, nilai budaya pengelolaan gender sebanyak 3%, nilai budaya pelestarian dan kreativitas budaya sebanyak 17%, nilai budaya peduli lingkungan sebanya 9%, nilai budaya kesopansantunan sebanyak 3 %, nilai budaya kerukunan sebanyak 6%, nilai budaya komitmen sebanyak 6% dan nilai budaya pikiran positif sebanyak 3%.87 halamanSkripsi Sarjan

    Indonesia is a vast country known for its linguistic, ethnic and cultural diversity. In general, naming a place makes it easier for people to know the location and is useful for government data collection. Naming cannot be separated from language, because language is a sign system commonly used by humans or society as a means of communication. The aim of this research is to identify the toponymic meaning of village names in Karo Regency, describe the toponymic categorization of village names in Karo Regency and identify the cultural values contained in the toponymy of village names in Karo Regency. This research uses the listening and speaking method. The results of data processing show that villages in Karo district have 3 name meanings, namely futurative, situational and memorable. Based on the naming system, the toponymic categorization of villages in the Regency is divided into 3 aspects, namely the embodiment aspect, the social aspect and the cultural aspect. Meanwhile, the cultural values contained in the toponymy of villages in Karo Regency consist of cultural values of peace, such as the cultural value of politeness in 1 village, social solidarity in 2 villages, the cultural value of harmony and conflict resolution in 4 villages, the cultural value of commitment in 2 regions. and the cultural value of positive thinking in 1 village. There are cultural values of welfare in 3 villages, there are cultural values of hard work, there are 2 villages in the cultural values of health, there are 3 villages in the cultural values of caring for the environment and there are 5 villages in the cultural values of preservation and cultural creativity.     Skripsi ini menganalisis makna dan nilai budaya dalam film Anak Sasada karya Ponti Gea: Kajian Antropolinguistik. Tujuannya untuk mendeskripsikan makna umpasa dan nilai-nilai budaya dalam film tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam mengkaji film ini adalah pendekatan antropolinguistik dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak yang didukung dengan teknik bebas libat cakap dan teknik catat. Temuan penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa makna umpasa yang terkandung dalam film Anak Sasada karya Ponti Gea ada tiga, yaitu makna mengharapkan sesuatu, makna membandingkan/penyamaan dan makna menasihati.     This research describes the meaning and cultural values in the lyrics of the popular Batak song Mandailing: Anthropolinguistic Study. This research aims to understand the meaning of Mandailing Batak cultural values so that they can be conveyed to the next generation. The data in this research are the lyrics of the Batak Mandailing song which shows the cultural values in it. The data sources for this research are primary data and secondary data. Research data was obtained using the listening method with tapping techniques, then continued with advanced techniques, namely the skillful listening technique, recording technique and note-taking technique. Data were analyzed using the extralingual matching method with the technique of selecting determining elements. The results of data analysis in this research are presented using an informal presentation method. This research uses the theory of meaning by Pateda and the theory of cultural value by Robert Sibarani. The results of the research show that there are four meanings contained in the lyrics of the Batak Mandailing song, namely the meaning of comparing, the meaning of advising, the meaning of expecting something and the meaning of mocking/sarcastic.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi makna nama-nama desa di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan, mengidentifikasi kategorisasi toponimi desa-desa di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan, dan mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai budaya pada toponimi desa-desa di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Penelitian ini kemudian menggunakan pendekatan antropolinguistik yang menghubungkan kajian bahasa dan budaya. Dalam mendeskripsikan makna nama-nama desa digunakan teori makna sedangkan untuk menjelaskan nilai budayanya peneliti menggunakan teori nilai-nilai budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah metode wawancara. Metode wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti diwujudkan dengan menggunakan teknik pancing, teknik cakap semuka, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Peneliti juga menggunakan metode padan yang alat penentunya berasal dari luar bahasa. Metode padan yang digunakan dalam tahap pengkajian data adalah metode padan referensial. Dalam metode ini digunakan teknik pilah unsur penentu sebagai pembeda referen. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan adanya dua makna ungkapan yaitu makna menasehati dan makna mengharapkan sesuatu. Peneliti mengkategorisasikan nama-nama desa tersebut berdasarkan aspek penamaannya (1.) aspek perwujudan (latar perairan, latar rupa bumi, dan latar lingkungan alam, (2.) aspek kemasyarakatan (tradisi, adat, dan tokoh masyarakat), dan (3) aspek kebudayaan (mitos, legenda, foklor, dan sistem kepercayaan atau religi). Nilai budaya yang terdapat pada toponimi desa-desa di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan yaitu nilai kedamaian seperti nilai budaya kerukunan dan penyelesaian konflik ada tujuh desa, nilai budaya komitmen ada empat desa, dan nilai budaya pikiran positif ada empat desa.
