Perbandingan Kelayakan Ekonomi Sistem Baterai dan Sistem Hibrida Baterai-Superkapasitor Pada Mobil Listrik

    No full text
=========================================================================================== Electric cars have become a well-developed alternative to handle the issues of air pollution and enviromental-friendly vehicle. One of the most found electric cars energy storage system is the battery-only energy storage system (BESS). BESS has shortcomings in terms of having low power density, short duty cycle, and short life span. This will affect the efficiency of the system and the capacity of the energy storage system needed, as well as affect the car’s economic viability. The hybrid-battery energy storage system (HESS) has been found to overcome this problem. Supercapacitors have higher power density, longer duty cycle, ang longer life cycle, but have a lower energy density. HESS can provide better electric car’s performance while having better economic viability. This final project provides a comparative study of the economic viability of a battery-only energy storage system and hybrib battery-supercapacitors energy storage system, focusing on the sizing pricess of the energy storage of the two systems, and comparing its economic viability’s results analysis. According to the simulations and calculations provided in this final project, it can be concluded that the addition of supercapacitors will extend the batteries life span, while having better economic viability in comparison to the BESS

PERTAUTAN ANTARA READER, TEXT, DAN AUTHOR DALAM MEMAHAMI NASH

    No full text
In the process of understanding the religious text, the reader, text, and author are the three elements that each other are inseparable and / or interrelated. Separating the three can lead to an attitude of authoritarianism in understanding the meaning of texts. The attitude of authoritarianism is an act of arbitrariness in understanding the meaning of texts so it is not uncommon to assume the correct understanding. To avoid such authoritarianism, according to Khaled, negotiations between the three (reader, text, and author) should be established, so that each does not dominate each other in the process of determining the meaning of texts. In other words, the determination of meaning comes from a complex, interactive, dynamic and dialectical process between the three elements (text, author, and the reader). In addition, to stem, prevent and refrain, groups, and religious organizations from authoritarianism in determining the meaning of religious texts, Khaled also proposed five precepts: honesty, self-control, sincerity, whole, and rationality.</jats:p

The Legal Vacuum on Access to Higher Education for Refugees in Indonesia: Islamic Claim for Aceh Responsibility

    No full text
This article investigates the prospect of granting refugee students the opportunity to enroll in higher education in Indonesia, particularly Aceh. Due to the vacuum of law on the rights for higher education for refugees. This article explores the possibility of religious claim on the rights for higher education for refugees. This study aims to prove that amidst the vacuum of law on the higher education rights for the refugee, Indonesia is still legally, socially, and religiously responsible in providing higher education access for refugees. Using doctrinal and quantitative legal research. This research demonstrated that Indonesia should be able to provide higher education for refugees by minimally but significantly changing the meaning of several of its higher education regulations. The responsibility bear by Indonesia is stipulated clearly in its constitutional preamble, as well as article 28(C)1 of Indonesia constitution. This report also confirmed that Aceh, with its past and present position, meets the requirement of an “Islamic Land,” and hence has a fundamental religious commitment to give refugees with the same rights as its inhabitants. This report also suggests technical collaboration or assimilation with the Global Education Convention system, as well as combining the Paket C and the UNESCO Qualifications Passport for Refugee systems to address any refugee's paperwork and qualification issues. This study contributes to the advocacy and support for significant humanitarian aid that Indonesia, particularly Aceh, may provide to refugees in order to help them prepare for a better future

Neglecting Transparency in the Qur'an Recitation Test for Legislative Candidates in Aceh

    No full text
This research examines the neglect of the principle of transparency in Qur'an literacy tests for legislative candidates in Aceh, which has hindered voters from making informed decisions. It explores two key questions: What forms does the neglect of transparency take in the Qur'an literacy test for legislative candidates in Aceh? And what are the causes and impacts of this neglect? The findings reveal that the neglect of transparency occurs in two primary forms: first, the establishment of subjective score standards, and second, the refusal of the Independent Electoral Commission (KIP) Aceh to publicly announce the test results. This issue arises from the absence of regulatory mechanisms that would require KIP Aceh to disclose the test outcomes and from the closed process by which the score standards are determined in collaboration with the Qur'an Reading Test Team. The impact of this neglect is the limited public access to vital information needed to elect legislators with religious competence, a quality of significant importance in Aceh, where religious knowledge plays a key role in qualifying individuals for public office
