Δυναμική της αντιδράσεως Ba + HI -> BaI + H
The reaction Ba + HI -> BaI + H was studied under single collision conditions using high resolution laser spectroscopy to determine rotational population distributions of BaI in specific vibrational levels. Laser-induced fluorescence spectra of the BaI C2Π - X2Σ+ (v,v) band system provided the means for measuring the rotational and vibrational excitation of BaI. In the process many low vibrational bands were rotationally assigned and a set of Dunham coefficients was determined from all observed rovibronic transitions that could reproduce all the data. Velocity distributions of the reagents were measured using Doppler spectroscopy for Ba and time-of-flight methods for the supersonic HI beam. The rotational distributions for BaI (v=0) peaked at J=420 for center-of-mass collision energies of 30 kJ/mol achieved under crossed-beam conditions. Rotational distributions of BaI(v) for v=0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 18 formed under beam-gas conditions were found to peak at J=438, 286, 220, 150, 127, and 106 respectively. The corresponding full-width-at-half-maximum was approximately 150. The above reaction is the prototypic example of a kinematically constrained system where the mass combination of reagents and products requires that all reagent angular momentum appear as rotation of the diatomic product. The reagents carry orbital angular momentum because of their relative motion which is the product of their reduced mass, their relative velocity, and the impact parameter of the collision. Thus impact parameter values leading to the formation of BaI in the vibrational levels listed above were determined. The impact parameter distribution for the formation of BaI (v=0) was found to peak at 4.5 Å with a very small spread. Higher vibrational levels arose from lower impact parameters with larger spreads indicating a strong correlation between impact parameter and product vibrational state.Η αντίδραση Ba + HI -> BaI + H μελετήθηκε υπό συνθήκες μεμονωμένων συγκρούσεων χρησιμοποιώντας φασματοσκοπία laser υψηλής διακριτικής ικανότητας για να προσδιοριστούν οι περιστροφικές κατανομές πληθυσμών του BaI σε συγκεκριμένες δονητικές στάθμες. Τα φάσματα φθορισμού επαγόμενου από laser παρείχαν την δυνατότηα μετρήσεως της περιστροφικής και της δονητικής διεγέρσεως του BaI. Έτσι ταυτοποιήθηκαν πολλές περιστροφικές καταστάσεις χαμηλών δονητικών ταινιών και προσδιορίστηκαν συντελεστές Dunham από όλες τις παρατηρηθείσες μεταπτώσεις που μπορούν να αναπαραγάγουν όλα τα δεδομένα. Οι κατανομές ταχυτήτων των αντιδρώντων μετρήθηκαν με φασματοσκοπία Doppler για το Ba και με μεθόδους χρόνου πτήσεως για την υπερηχητική δέσμη του HI. Οι περιστροφικές κατανομές για το BaI (v=0) εμφανίζουν μέγιστο σε J=420 με ενέργειες συγκρούσεων ως προς το κέντρο μάζας 30 kJ/mol που επιτυγχάνονται με διασταυρούμενες μοριακές δέσμες. Οι περιστροφικές κατανομές του BaI(v) με v=0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 18 που προέκυψαν με αντίδραση δέσμης με αέριο εμφάνισαν μέγιστα στις τιμές J=438, 286, 220, 150, 127 και 106 αντίστοιχα. Το εύρος των κατανομών ήταν περίπου 150. Η ανωτέρω αντίδραση αποτελεί κατεξοχήν παράδειγμα συστήματος με κινηματικούς περιορισμούς όπου ο συνδυασμών μαζών αντιδρώντων και προϊόντων υπαγορεύει την μεταφορά όλης της στροφορμής των αντιδρώντων σε περιστροφή του διατομικού προϊόντος. Η στροφορμή των αντιδρώντων οφείλεται στην σχετική τους κίνηση και είναι το γινόμενο της ανηγμένης μάζας τους, της σχετικής τους ταχύτητας και του συντελεστή κρούσεως της συγκρούσεως. Έτσι προσδιορίστηκαν τιμές συντελστού κρούσεως που οδηγούν στον σχηματισμό BaI στις δονητικές καταστάσεις που προαναφέρθηκαν. Η κατανομή συντελεστών κρούσεων που οδηγεί στον σχηματισμό του BaI (v=0) εμφανίζει μέγιστο σε 4.5 Å με πολύ μικρό εύρος. Υψηλότερες δονητικές στάθμες προέκυψαν από μικρότερους συντελεστές κρούσεως με ευρύτερες κατανομές, γεγονός που δείχνει την ισχυρή συσχέτιση μεταξύ συντελεστού κρούσεως και δονητικής καταστάσεως του προϊόντος

Phonological Contrast in Bai
This dissertation presents an account of synchronic phonological contrast for the Bai language. Bai is a Sino-Tibetan language primarily spoken in Yunnan Province in Southwest China. There is a sizable amount of published research on this language due to the large amount of Chinese-related basic vocabulary in Bai, which is of considerable interest in the field of Sino-Tibetan historical linguistics. However, most of the available references prioritize the ability to transcribe the observed contrastive syllables as distinct from one another instead of offering synchronic phonological analysis of this language. The proposal I present in this dissertation intends to fill this gap in the literature with phonological analysis of the consonant, vowel, and tone systems of the Erhai (Dali), Jianchuan, and Heqing varieties of Bai.
My phonological analysis assumes articulator-based distinctive features, syllable structure, time slots, and other commonly assumed phonological architecture to generate all well-formed phonological representations in this language. The proposal fundamentally differs from prior descriptions in that pre-nuclear glides are consistently treated as constituents of the onset and not as constituents of the rime of the Bai syllable. Along with this fixed syllable structure, underspecification and economy in underlying representations are argued to optimize the ratio of attested-to-possible syllables within the space of predicted syllable types. Furthermore, these principles are suggested to limit the range of surface phonological variation attested across speakers. Specific phonemena addressed in detail include spreading processes (such as palatalization), identification of merged tone categories, representation of the rhotic vowel, and epenthetic segments. The generalizations I identify are supported by descriptions of word-based evidence and phonetic data – both from the literature and collected through lexical elicitation in the field. Analisis terhadap pendapat Imam Syafi’i tentang bai‘ salaf
Ada dua bentuk bai‘ salaf, pertama bai‘ salaf mu’ajjalan yaitu bai‘ salaf dengan tempo, hukumnya sah tanpa ada perbedaan pendapat. Kedua, bai‘ salaf h}a>lan yakni barang yang dipesan sudah ada, dalam artian tidak ada tempo dalam penyerahan barang. Sedangkan bai‘ salaf adalah penjualan barang yang disebutkan sifat-sifatnya sebagai persyaratan jual beli barang, dan barang tersebut masih dalam tanggungan penjual. Syarat-syarat tersebut diantaranya adalah mendahulukan pembayaran pada waktu di majelis akad (akad disepakati). Terkait bai‘ salaf yang kedua ini, jumhur ‘ulama berbeda pendapat, Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Malik dan Imam Ahmad bin Hambal tidak membolehkan bai‘ salaf h}a@lan tersebut sedangkan Imam Syafi’i membolehkan bai‘ salaf h}a@lan. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Analisis Terhadap Pendapat Imam Syafi‘i Tentang bai‘ salaf”. Dari latar belakang diatas, ada beberapa permasalahan yang dirumuskan yaitu, bagaimana bai‘ salaf menurut Imam Syafi’i. Bagaimana relevansi pendapat Imam Syafi‘i tentang bai‘ salaf dengan transaksi modern dibandingkan dengan pendapat iman-imam yang lain. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah library reseach dan metode pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang menghasilkan deskripsi dengan sumber hukum primer kitab al-Umm karya Imam Syafi’i. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kepustakaan yang diperoleh melalui penelitian kepustakaan yang bersumber dari buku-buku dll, metode analisis data yang digunak yaitu redaksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan pertama, bai‘ salaf menurut Imam Syafi’i yaitu jual beli yang ditangguhkan dengan kriteria tertentu dengan pembayaran diawal dan barangnya diserahkan kemudian, mengenai pendapat tentang bai‘ salaf h}a@lan menurut Imam Syafi’i itu diperbolehkan dengan alasan, apabila bai’ salaf mu’ajjalan boleh dilakukan dengan penangguhan yang disertai ketidakjelasan, maka bai‘ salaf h}a@lan lebih diperbolehkan. metode istinba>t} hukum yang digunakan Imam Syafi‘i yaitu al-Qur’an dan as-sunnah atau hadi@s\ dalam penentuan kasus tersebut adalah surat at-Taubah ayat 91 dan as-sunnah atau hadi@s\ dengan menggunakan pendekatan lafdzi/tekstual. Kedua relevansi bai‘ salaf dalam transaksi modern yaitu transaksi e-commerce, e-commerce merupakan bentuk bai‘ salaf h}a>lan, karena barang yang sudah ada pada saat proses transaksi berlangsung maka transaksi inilah yang disebut bai‘ salaf h}a>lan, yang menurut Imam Syafi’i seperti yang telah dijelaskan diatas bai‘ salaf h}a>lan ini diperbolehkan, akan tepi menurut ulama lain seperti Imam Hanafi, Imam Maliki dan Imam Ahmad bin Hambal tidak diperbolehkan melainkan transaksi ini disebut dengan jual beli biasa atau bai‘ bukan lagi disebut bai‘ salaf dikarenakan barang yang dipesan pada saat proses transksi berlangsung sudah tersedia
Biomimetic composite structural water hydraulic valve plug for erosive wear resistance based on additive manufacturing processes
Developing materials with good erosive wear properties has broad prospects and economic benefits, especially in the field of water hydraulic system. By studying key information in the online biological strategy library-AskNature, we were able to identify strategies for improving the erosive wear resistance of materials. Specifically, we developed a biomimetic composite structural valve plug (BCSVP) with erosive wear resistance based on the multi-scale observation of shellfish, realized through additive manufacturing (AM). The phase composition and microstructure were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). The erosive wear resistance was evaluated by morphology observation and slurry erosive wear experiments. The results of these experiments indicate that the BCSVP exhibited a 26.3% higher volumetric erosive wear resistance than a 3D printed 316L stainless steel valve after 7 h of slurry erosive wear. This interdisciplinary research highlights the potential of BCSVP in applications requiring high slurry erosive wear resistance in water hydraulic applications
