Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) karakteristik setting kelas supervisi kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Suruh kabupaten Semarang; (2) karakteristik media supervisi kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Suruh Kabupaten
Semarang; (3) karakteristik kegiatan supervisi kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Suruh Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan desain etnografi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Suruh Kabupaten Semarang. Nara sumber dalam penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan
guru. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tertata dalam situs. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Setting kelas supervisi bersifat fleksibel, yaitu menyesuaikan setting kelas pembelajaran yang digunakan guru.
Setting kelas supervisi kepala sekolah yang dilakukan di dalam kelas adalah dalam bentuk klasikal dan bentuk berkelompok. Setting kelas supervisi yang dilakukan di ruang multimedia dan laboratorium bahasa menyesuaikan tata ruang yang ada. Penentuan setting kelas memperhatikan aspek efektifitas, efisiensi waktu pembelajaran, dan kenyamanan. Dalam setting kelas supervisi, menemapatkan tim supervisor di belakang agar dapat memberikan kenyamanan belajar pada siswa; (2) Media yang digunakan dalam supervisi kepala sekolah antara lain (a) penggunaan surat edaran untuk mensosialisasikan kegiatan supervisi, (b) penyusunan instrumen penilaian supervisi, dan (c) penggunaan
handycam dan camera digital. Masing-masing media memiliki fungsi beragam dengan tujuan yang sama yaitu untuk mendukung pelaksanaan supervisi kepala sekolah. Aspek yang diperhatikan dalam penggunaan media supervisi kepala
sekolah adalah aspek fungsional dan efektifitas penggunaan media untuk supervise; (3) Kegiatan supervisi diawali dengan aktivitas perencanaan supervisi yang terdiri dari penentuan program dan jadwal supervisi, penyusunan instrumen, dan sosialisasi. Kegiatan supervisi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan teknik supervisi individual dan sebagian didelegasikan oleh kepala sekolah kepada wakil

The study was conducted in Pulantan Village, Awayan District, Balangan Regency South Kalimantan Province. Data obtained and processed in this study include primary data and secondary data. The research used the puposive method by intentionally taking farmers who specifically planted cayenne peppers. Whereas the sampling technique is done by census (complete enumeration of all elements of the population. The total number of samples taken is 20 farmers.
