The place of work diagnostic instrumental measurements in the protocols of occupational health tasks
Aim: Work diagnostic examinations are carried out to assess aptitude, job selection, pre-rehabilitation assessment and follow-up, career guidance. Work diagnostic tests include aptitude tests, various questionnaires, work practice tests and instrumental examinations. For instrumental testing, portable work psychology testing instruments or so-called ‘work-simulators’ can be used. Work simulators have been used for selection, assessment of aptitude, training for jobs requiring a high level of attention and with an increased risk of accidents. In the author’s opinion, work diagnostic instrumentation, work simulator tests (e.g. ErgoScope) can be well integrated into the protocol of primary and specialised occupational health care tasks.Methodology: The author conducted an online questionnaire survey among occupational health specialists working in Hungary to find out whether they use work diagnostic tools, and if so, which ones, and whether they would be willing to send workers for instrumental work diagnostic tests. 272 second-level medical fitness for work examinations were reviewed for their inclusion in the instrumental work diagnostic tests.Findings: It is clear from the questionnaire responses that very few occupational health specialists have the opportunity to use occupational diagnostic instrumentation in their work, but 60.62% of them would be happy to send patients for instrumented skills testing. From the documentation of the second level medical fitness for work examinations, the author selected those where aptitude tests had been carried out and those where an instrumental aptitude test would have assisted the assessment.Value: It can be concluded that, in addition to the second level occupational/professional medical fitness tests, instrumental occupational diagnostic tests could be easily integrated into the examination protocols of occupational health, in the first level occupational/professional medical fitness tests, in career counselling and in the occupational rehabilitation process, and would significantly assist the work of occupational health professionals
A munkadiagnosztikai műszeres mérések helye a foglalkozás-egészségügyi feladatok protokolljaiban = The place of work diagnostic instrumental measurements in the protocols of occupational health tasks
272 másodfokú munkaköri orvosi alkalmassági vizsgálat dokumentációját tekintette át a műszeres munkadiagnosztikai vizsgálatok beilleszthetőségének szempontjából.
Megállapítások: A kérdőívre adott válaszokból egyértelműen kiderült, hogy nagyon kevés foglalkozás-egészségügyi szakorvosnak van lehetősége munkája során igénybe venni munkadiagnosztikai műszeres vizsgálatokat, viszont 60,62%-uk szívesen küldene műszeres képességvizsgálatra pácienseket. A másodfokú munkaköri orvosi alkalmassági vizsgálatok dokumentációjából a szerző kiválogatta azokat, ahol történt képességvizsgálat, és azokat, ahol a véleményezést segítette volna a műszeres képességvizsgálat.
Érték: Megállapítható, hogy a foglalkozás-egészségügy feladatai közül, a másodfokú munkaköri/szakmai orvosi alkalmassági vizsgálat mellett, az elsőfokú munkaköri/szakmai orvosi alkalmassági vizsgálatok, a pályaválasztási tanácsadás és a foglalkozási rehabilitációs eljárás során könnyen beilleszthetőek a műszeres munkadiagnosztikai vizsgálatok a vizsgálati protokollokba, és jelentősen segítenék a munkaegészségügyi szakemberek munkáját. | Aim: Work diagnostic examinations are carried out to assess aptitude, job selection, pre-rehabilitation assessment and follow-up, career guidance. What Kind of Steps Shall we Implement from the GDE Matrix Into Driver Education of Hungary to Decrease Risk of Accident Among Novice Drivers?
AbstractIt is a well-known problem that in every year there are 27000 deaths on the roads. The European Union has determined the target of the killed people of road accidents and it means 50% percentage decreasing until year of 2020. Until 2050 no one can die in road accident. (White Paper, 2011). Young people percentage in our society is about 10%, but the participation in fatal accident injuries is almost 27%. It is a significant difference, and we have to do against the problem. States of European Union has different kinds of driver education with diverse tools, methods and programs. There is a matrix (dubbed Goals of Driver Education) which summarized essential elements and hierarchical levels of driver behavior to make driver education more effective (decreasing novice driver's accident risk). Driver education of some countries is based on this theory. In Hungary there were a lot of changes in driver education causes decreasing trend in the number of passed exams. To find an optimal solution to make our education more traffic safety-oriented I try to reflect on the main missing points, which we should implement to our driver education so novice drivers could be able to estimate their skills and to have a realistic self-assessment
A megbékélés józsefi paradigmája
The Paradigm of Reconciliation Seen at Joseph.
The origin of unrest. The first part of the present study examines the origin of violence. In the biblical vision of the Paradise the lion does not harm anyone and the power and justice do not extinguish peace. However, the earthly interpretation of justice, that of the mankind is mistaken, thus control and power have become a constant source of conflict. The greed for power over others destroys peace. The study presents the train of thought on violence and peace from the book Exclusion and Embrace written by Miroslav Volf. The presented work writes openly about the distortions of the human interpretation of justice. In Volf’s book Christ’s Kingdom of peace that has to come is deemed true but the author raises the question that until the promises will be fulfilled what does remain for His followers to do. Volf also asks whether the earthly life of the people is related to Christ and if yes, how does this bond manifest itself. Humanity has already come up different ideas to overcome violence, the modernists put their hope into the intellect, others thought that the universal peace between religions would put everything right, but the dreadful events of the 20th century showed wrong all the ideologically implemented attempts to establish peace. The only possible solution that remains is imitatio Christi. Reliance on God and its power to make peace. The second part of the study highlights one of the Old Testament paradigms of the pious believer’s conduct on the subject of violence and reconciliation. The biblical stories carry timeless messages, behavioral patterns, archetypes which are worth analyzing so that evil cannot be repeated, to stop transmitting bad schemes and empower the functional ones through biblical examples. Joseph’s story unfolds from an ancient experience, from the fact that if someone is chosen it will result in the peers’ envy and hatred. The continuation of the story is conventional, in the sense that there are almost lawful manifestations of human evil, the brothers endanger Joseph and remove him by force. The really exciting part unfolds in the end, when Joseph acts atypically, breaking the chain of violence, responding with forgiveness instead of revenge. He explains: You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good (Genesis 50:20). He understood that everything is part of God\u27s providence, including what was painful, what he did not agree with, or what he did not understand at all. Joseph’s first great realization is that the absolute forgiveness belongs to God alone, who is the one who sees through the events of the world, and finally Joseph realizes that only those can have a future who do not cling to the grievances of the past but is open and ready for new duties

New records to the bryoflora of the E slope of Mt. Kenya
The first author studied the bryophyte communities on the East slope of
Mt. Kenya through the forest belt between 1600 and 3000 m elevations. Seven
sampling plots were selected at each 200 m altitudinal interval. At each sampling
plot microclimate data measurements were carried out for six months between
July and December 2020 using dataloggers and the composition of epiphyllous
communities was studied in details with special reference to the host plants.
Tamás Pócs and his team (Bence Együd, Judit Havasi and Mária Szegedi) joined to
this research during the August of 2021, to help in further collection and
identification work. The collected specimens are deposited in the herbaria of EA
and EGR. Majority of the collections have already been identified. The discovery of
the only mainland African occurrences of the Lemurian Microlejeunea inflata and
Leptodon fuciformis are outstanding results. Other species are new for Kenya:
Cololejeunea platyneura, Cyclodyction subbrevifolium, Diplasiolejeunea deslooveri,
Fissidens intramarginatus and Telaranea coactilis. The last author visited the same
sites 2004 with his late wife, Sarolta Czímer, guided by Min S.Chuah-Petiot from
Nairobi University and from their collection Gemmabryum subapiculatum,
Orthotrichum denticulatum, Lophocolea fragrans and Lophocolea muricata proved
to be new to Kenya
