No full textDr Lucy Bray (Faculty of Health) – Empowering Young People via Health LiteracyResearch LaboratoryThe Research Laboratory is a new initiative from the Faculty of Education, which brings university staff and our wider partnership together in the pursuit of educational research.FoE will host a monthly session for members of the partnership to meet with researchers from the Faculty of Education, to discuss research ambitions and projects.The laboratory will enable:• on the spot advice, including ethical considerations, methodology, dissemination etc• putting partners in touch with relevant colleagues in the Faculty who might share their interests or be looking to collaborate on a similar project• direction to developmental opportunities in the Faculty, including research-focused CPD, and longer postgraduate research courses including MA Education, the MRes programmes, and the EdD.Who Research Lab is forPartners working in education, from early years to FE. No full textLucy Agnes Brady (1899-1995) was a Winthrop graduate of the Class of 1920. The Lucy Brady Papers consist of programs of Winthrop events including the 1919 and 1920 Junior-Senior Receptions, a Banquet in honor of the returning World War I military men, piano recital, Christmas Vespers and the 1923 Annual Winthrop Dinner in Columbia, South Carolina; notes and letters to Miss Brady and a petition from the 1920 Seniors requesting a holiday instead of the usual trip to Magnolia Gardens. Of special note are letters from poet Amy Lowell (1874-1925), author Margaret P. the unique materials after talking to children aged seven to fourteen
about their fears and feelings about visiting hospital and having
medical procedures.
Working with local animators MisterMunro the team created two
different versions of the animations, one for children and one aimed at
