Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. A web-based knowledge hub for special and inclusive education
The need of a common environment where to share information and knowledge is of particular interest in the field of special education not only to support the access to a large amount of available information (along with the ability to derive value from this information) but also to foster synergistic actions involving different special education operators. In this paper we present the results of a research aimed at defining a Web-based environment for special education providing, to operators of the field, personalized information and digital assets covering both their expressed and latent information needs. Offered personalization features are based on the definition and the implementation of a hybrid recommender system based on a mix of cognitive and collaborative approaches, the first based on the similarities among digital objects, the latter leveraging on similarities among user profiles. By combining these two approaches the system is able to provide meaningful but not obvious recommendations with a fair level of serendipity. The encouraging results of an experimentation with real users are also reported

Autoestima y resiliencia en estudiantes de nivel secundario José Benigno Samanes Ocampo, Ocobamba, Apurímac, 2022
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la Autoestima y la Resiliencia en estudiantes de nivel secundario José Benigno Samanes Ocampo, Ocobamba, Apurímac, 2022. Material y método: Estudio de nivel correlacional, trasversal y no experimental; la muestra fueron 197 estudiantes de nivel secundario José Benigno Samanes Ocampo, Ocobamba, Apurímac, quienes respondieron al Cuestionario de Escala de Resiliencia de Barboza (2017) y Escala de autoestima de Rosenberg Escala de resiliencia de 21 y 10 ítems respectivamente. Los resultados fueron presentados descriptivamente y se utilizó la prueba r de Pearson, para comprobar la hipótesis Resultados: existe correlación entre la Autoestima y la Resiliencia (r= 0,394; p= 0,000), existe correlación entre la Autoestima positiva y la Resiliencia (r= 0,331; p= 0,000), existe correlación entre la Autoestima negativa y la Resiliencia (r= 0,429; p= 0,000). Conclusiones: Existe correlación directa entre la Autoestima y la Resiliencia en estudiantes de nivel secundario José Benigno Samanes Ocampo, Ocobamba, Apurímac, 2022
