Collective Improvisation: The Practice and Vision of Ingemar Lindh
Ingemar Lindh's research on the principles of collective improvisation and performance conceived as process announce an important development in the 20th-century tradition of the actor's work. After early studies with Étienne Decroux and working collaborations with Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, and Yves Lebreton, Lindh founded the first laboratory theatre in Sweden in 1971, the Institutet för Scenkonst. His practice of collective improvisation is viewed in light of postdramatic concerns such as its resistance to fixed scores, directorial montage, and choreography as an organizing principle

Chemical composition and volatile constituents of Anthyllis barba-jovis
Phytochemical investigation of chloroformic and methanolic extracts from aerial parts of Anthyllis barba-jovis L. (Leguminosae) led to the characterization of six flavonol-glycosides: kaempferol-3-O--D-glucopyranoside, kaempferol-7-O--L-rhamnopyranoside, kaempferol-3-O--D-glucopyranoside-7-O--L-rhamnopyranoside, kaempferol-3-O--D-glucopyranosyl-(12)--L-rhamnopyranoside-7-O--L-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin-3-O--D-glucopyranoside, isorhamnetin-3-O--D-glucopyranoside-7-O--L-rhamnopyranoside were identified together with two coumarins and D-pinitol, a taxonomic marker of Leguminosae family. The structural elucidation of all compounds was based on their 1H and 13C-NMR spectral data, bidimensional experiments and confirmed by MS analysis. In order to complete the phytochemical investigation, the essential oils from flowers and seeds of A. barba-jovis were obtained by hydrodistillation and analyzed by GC/MS; fresh flowers were submitted also to Solid Phase Micro Extraction

Attending to Presence - An Investigation into the Training of Scenic Presence
"There exists a secret art of the performer. There exists recurring principles which determine the life of actors and dancers in various cultures and epochs. These are not recipes but points of departure which make it possible for an individual's qualities to become Scenic Presence and to be manifest as personalised and efficient expression in the context of the individual’s own history" (Barba 1991: 268).
This quote professes to contain the secret to the performer’s art, a fundamental hidden technique, and yet it invokes more questions than it answers; such as what is ‘Scenic Presence’ and how can the principles used in training help to develop it? This thesis interrogates those questions to find both an intellectual understanding of what Scenic Presence is and a practical grasp of how the principles used in training can help its development.
I have based my research on the theories of Eugenio Barba, Phillip Zarrilli and John Britton and compared their findings with my own explorations in the studio during and after the training I embarked on in the summer of 2011.
The principles I have worked with are the attitudinal principles drawn from the work of John Britton: “pursue your pleasure”, “pay attention to the things you can do something about” and “have no opinion.” These will be explored in relation to some of the technical, recurring features of the extradaily body, identified but not invented by Eugenio Barba as “balance”, “dynamic oppositions” and “posture”.
While this report began as an investigation of Scenic Presence I have since discovered that Scenic Presence is a direct consequence of attention and therefore, towards the end, the focus of my report shifted to embrace this discovery
LOS HEREDEROS ESPECIALMENTE PROTEGIDOS EN EL DERECHO CUBANO
The article analyses the regulation of the necessary succession in Cuban law, identifying the conditions and remedies, and pointing out that the Cuban legitimate succession, contrary to a generalised opinion, is a protective legitimate succession and does not have a welfare content. In Cuban law, the mere existence of a kinship relationship with the deceased (marriage, descent, ancestry) is not sufficient for the attribution of the status of legitimaire, since two important requirements must be met: inability to work and economic dependence. From this point of view, it seems to me that Cuban law could be taken as a model for other legislations, precisely in order to find an important new balance between the freedom to testate and the protection of the legitimated persons.El artículo analiza la regulación de la sucesión necesaria en el derecho cubano, identificando las condiciones y los remedios, y señalando que la legitima cubana no tiene, en contra de una opinión generalizada, carácter asistencial. En el derecho cubano, la mera existencia de una relación de parentesco con el fallecido (matrimonio, descendencia, ascendencia) no es suficiente para la atribución de la condición de legitimario, ya que deben cumplirse dos importantes requisitos: la inaptitud a trabajar y la dependencia económica. Desde este punto de vista, me parece que el derecho cubano debería y podría ser tomado como modelo en otras legislaciones, precisamente para encontrar un importante y nuevo equilibrio entre la libertad de testar y la protección de los legitimario
