兩種赤眼卵寄生蜂在五種定溫之發育與自寄主卵之相對回收率
Trichogramma embryopha gum Hartig and T. ostriniae Pang & Chen were compared their development in eggs of Ostrinia furnacalis Hülbner at five constant temperatures of 14, 18, 22, 26, and 30℃ in laboratory. T. ostriniae failed to develop at 14℃, and both species decreased their developmental period as the temperature increased. T. embryopha gum performed better in parasitism under 22℃, significantly lived longer especially at 18 and 26 CC, had highly significantly lower female sex ratio at 30℃, and predominated over T. ostriniae in recovery percentage from host eggs.
室內測定二種赤眼卵寄生蜂,Trichogramma embryophagum與T. ostriniae 在14,18,22,26及30℃等五種定溫下,在亞洲玉米螟卵內之發育。結果顯示T. ostriniae在14℃時不能完成嶺育,且兩種卵寄生蜂之嶺育期隨溫度之升高而縮短。T. embryophagum在溫度低於22℃時,對玉米螟卵之寄生率優於T. ostriniae;其雌蜂壽命較本地種為長,尤以在18與26℃時二者呈顯著差異;該蜂在30℃時之雌性比極明顯較T. ostriniae為低,但其自寄主卵之回收率,則比此本地種為優
Anagrus incarnatus 之發生及對二種稻蝨寄主卵之偏好性
Field surveys were conducted in several, sites to study occurrence of Anagrus incarnatus Haliday and its parasitism on eggs of rice brown plant-hopper (BPH). A. incarnatus population increased with the increment of BPH at first and second cropping seasons. It peaked during the ripening stage of rice plants at about 46% parasitism at Si-chou in both cropping seasons. The host preference of A. incarnatus to eggs of Nilaparvata lugens Stal (BPH) and small brown planthopper, Laodelphax striatellus (Fallen) (SBPH) was determined in the laboratory by free- and no-choice tests. The parasitoid preferred BPH to SBPH eggs in a free choice test. More A. incarnatus foraged on rice plants infested with BPH eggs than those infested with SBPH eggs, and more A. incarnatus progeny emerged from BPH than from SBPH eggs. The relationship between BPH infesting densities and the emergent A. incarnatus is linear regardless if rice variety is suscep tible or resistant to BPH. The impact of the parasitoid on rice planthop pers is discussed.
本試驗於本省中部地區調查卵寄生蜂Anagrus incornotus Haliday之發生及對稻蝨之寄生率,結果顯示無論一、二期作,該蜂族群隨其寄主褐飛蝨密度之增加而上升,其寄生率之高峰在水稻成熟期,而以溪州之46%為最高。室內以自由選擇與無選擇試驗進行測定該蜂對褐飛蝨與斑飛蝨卵之偏好性,結果顯示該蜂對褐飛蝨卵俱偏好性,較喜在產有褐飛蝨卵之稻株上找尋寄主產卵,而較少於產有斑飛蝨卵之稻株上尋找。無論水稻品種為感蟲或較抗蟲者,該蜂羽化數與褐飛蝨接蟲密度呈直線關係。同時,自被寄生之褐飛蝨卵羽化之該蜂數,遠比自被寄生之斑飛蝨卵者為多。該蜂乃本省稻蝨之有效卵蜂

Chen Chen is the author of When I Grow Up I Want to Be a List of Further Possibilities (BOA Editions, 2017), which was long-listed for the National Book Award and won the Thom Gunn Award, among other honors. Bloodaxe Books published a UK edition in June. He is also the author of four chapbooks, most recently You MUST Use the Word Smoothie (Sundress Publications, 2019) and Gesundheit! (in collaboration with Sam Herschel Wein and forthcoming from Glass Poetry Press, fall 2019). His work appears in many publications, including Poem-a-Day, The Massachusetts Review, The Best American Poetry, and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. He has received a Pushcart Prize and fellowships from Kundiman and the National Endowment for the Arts. He holds an MFA from Syracuse University and a PhD from Texas Tech University. Emergence, fecundity and longevity of Trichogramma ostriniae (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae) after cold storage
玉米螟赤眼卵寄生蜂(Trichogramma ostriniae Pang & Chen)用外米綴蛾(Corcyra cephalonica Stainton)卵做為代用寄主時,雌雄蜂自卵出生至成蟲羽化之嶺育速率皆隨溫度之升高而呈直線加快。其一次迴歸之R2 值分別達0.9962與0.9930,發育臨界低溫分別為9.59℃與8.91℃。將不同日齡蜂片分別在9℃與6℃、12℃下進行冷藏試驗,結果在12℃下之較老齡蜂片於冷藏期間即陸續羽化,其餘日齡蜂片冷藏5日後之潛在寄生數亦多比6、9℃者顯著較少,因此認為12℃較不適做為冷藏溫度。6℃與9℃之冷藏效果相近,但皆有負面影響。雌成蜂壽命,經此二溫度冷藏後分別為35-63日與28-50日,皆比對照組的90日顯著減短。潛在寄生數除第6日齡在9℃冷藏結果與對照組差異不顯著外,其餘處理皆顯著減少,其中尤以第3、4、8日齡蜂冷藏者更少。可知不同冷藏溫度對蜂片冷藏後之雌蜂羽化數、壽命及繁殖有不同之影響,而進入冷藏的日齡亦是影響冷藏效果的重要因素。
The developmental rate from egg to adult of female and male parasitoids (Trichogramma ostriniae Pang & Chen) reared on rice moth (Corcyra cephalonica Stainton) eggs went up with increasing of temperature. And the R -values by linear regression were 0.9962 and 0.9930, respectively, with 9.59℃ and 8.91 ℃ for low temperature development threshold. Cold storage of various day age parasitoid cards at 6, 9, or 12℃ was conducted in this study. Result showed that 12℃ was not a suitable temperature for cold storage because the parasitoid adults could emerge successively within stored period, and their potential parasitism were mostly significantly fewer than that was stored at 6℃ and 9℃. Cold storage at 6℃ and 9℃ achieved almost similar result, but both temperatures had various negative effects. Female adult longevity were 3.5-6.3 and 2.8-5.0 days for both temperatures respectively, which were shorter than the control of 9.0 days. The potential parasitism, the 3rd, 4th, 8th day age parasitoid of both temperature treatments were especially less than that of the control, except the 6th day age parasitoid at 9℃. Apparently, different temperatures could have different effects to the adult emergence, longevity and fecundity. And the stage of parasitoid is an important factor affecting the efficacy of cold storage
