Kampar Regency is one of the districts that has the largest oil palm plantations in Indonesia, with a plantation area of 241.5 thousand hectares and around 33 Palm Oil Mills (POM). In every palm oil mound industry which rises higher every day, waste in the form of shells and pulp fibers or straw fibers on the ground as large as a soccer field and also emits an unpleasant odor. Only a small portion of this waste is used as boiler fuel. One MCC can produce no less than 100 tons of fiber per week. This fiber has a high economic value, this fiber is easy to get, cheap, does not endanger health can be degredated (biodegradibility) so that if given the right handling with utilization as a composite reinforcing fiber can provide more benefits to the Palm Oil Mill (POM) and the environment in the treatment of these waste

Nowadays, to match the dynamics of the marketplace and provide the expected product qualification, industrial manufacturing systems are always developing. One of the most issues which have a large influence on the product that would be accepted by the market is environmental issues. Implementing an environmentally friendly concept through the process could be one of the best solutions to counter the issue and it expectedly meets the requirement of the company's operational permit. In regards of the palm oil industry, is an essential source of national income and has an important role in creating opportunities for employment and developing rural areas in Indonesia, yet it also potentially can cause natural environmental degradation. This means the production process of CPO should be in line with ecological guidelines and legislation that could be used to attain more beneficial impacts on global market competitiveness, social and economic development, and better impacts in maintaining the environment as well. This research tried to critically evaluate the implementation of the zero waste technology scheme for Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) mandatory in Crude Palm Oil (CPO) industries and its impact on the company's future position. Using PESTLE analysis then, it can recommend the best possible ways to treat the waste as an excess of the production proces

A typical maintenance organisation has responsibility in keeping the production facility running at the desired level performance. In order to ensure that condition, necessary decisions should be made. The Decision Making Grid (DMG) model is one of analysis technique that provides maintenance organisation in strategic and tactical level management to determine the appropriate maintenance policy for all individual machinery and equipment within the facility. In this project, the analysis identified the performance of the personel computer at laboratory facility by conducting availability measurement. The hardware, peripheral, and softwarewhich have breakdown records were analysed then by the DMG model to propose the appropriate maintenance policy for all individual personel computer within the computer laboratory facility. Implementing the DMG recommendations were proposed to follow the suggested priority order

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

The Fisheries Service of Kampar Bangkinang Regency, City of targets and realization of fishery production from 2014 to 2020 shows that the realization always exceeds the existing target. Based on these data, we see the number of requests for fish production is very high but in reality the current transaction process is very conventional or uses manual bookkeeping. Fish is one source of food that is often consumed daily, with is delicious taste and high nutritional content of fish being the reason people consumw it. Likewise, the growth of fish sales business activities in Kampar Regenery is quite high, especially in Kampar District. The large market demand is not supported by current marketing, which results in only a few people knowing the products sold by famers. Therefore, the problem in this case is the lack of marketing of products sold by traders. Therefore, a Web-Based Fish Sales Portal will be created in Kampar Regency specifically for Kampar District to develop fish farmer products using the PHP programming language and MYSQL database which is better known as E-Commerce (Electronic Commerce). The advantage in the web-based sales system is that it can make it easier for buyers and breeders to process online purchase transactions which can save time and costs compared to buying directly to the farmer’s location
