Resistensi Tokoh Lale Terhadap Dominasi Patriarki dalam Film Mustang (2015)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana bentuk-bentuk resistensi yang dilakukan tokoh Lale untuk melawan dominasi patriarki di dalam film Mustang (2015) yang disutradarai oleh Deniz Gamze Ergüven, seorang sutradara kelahiran Turki yang dibesarkan di Perancis. Film ini menceritakan tokoh Lale dan keempat kakaknya yang tinggal bersama nenek dan pamannya. Lale dan keempat saudaranya mengalami dominasi patriarki, seperti dipaksa menikah oleh nenek dan pamannya, tidak diperbolehkan keluar rumah dan berinteraksi dengan teman-temannya, dikurung di dalam rumah dan hanya diperbolehkan untuk belajar memasak, mencuci, menjahit, dan melakukan pekerjaan domestik lainnya. Dibandingkan semua saudaranya, Lale, sebagai anak bungsu, ditampilkan berani dalam menunjukkan resistensinya untuk bisa keluar dari dominasi patriarki yang mengelilinginya. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan penelitian ini menggunakan teori karakterisasi, dominasi patriarki, dan resistensi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, Lale yang digambarkan memiliki karakterisasi bulat seperti berani, memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, nekat, dan peduli, melakukan 3 (tiga) bentuk resistensi terhadap dominasi patriarki, yaitu: resistensi mental, verbal dan tindakan. Ketiga bentuk resistensi tersebut membuat akhir cerita kehidupan tokoh Lale berbeda dari keempat saudaranya. Selain itu, penulis juga menemukan bahwa salah satu faktor utama tokoh Lale melakukan resistensi adalah adanya rasa kehilangan dan kesepian yang mendalam. / This paper aims to show how the forms of resistance carried out by Lale's character to fight patriarchal domination in the film Mustang (2015) directed by Deniz Gamze Ergüven, a Turkish-born director who grew up in France. This film tells the story of Lale and her four sisters who live with her grandmother and uncle. Lale and her four sisters experienced patriarchal domination, such as being forced to marry by her grandmother and uncle, not being allowed to leave the house and interacting with her friends, being confined in the house, and only allowed to learn to cook, wash, sew, and do other domestic work. Compared to all her sisters, Lale, as the youngest child, is shown to be brave in showing her resistance to get out of the patriarchal domination that surrounds her. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods and this study uses the theory of characterization, patriarchal domination, and resistance. The results of this study, Lale, who is described as having rounded characterizations such as being brave, having high curiosity, reckless, and caring, perform 3 (three) forms of resistance to patriarchal domination, namely: mental resistance, verbal, and action. The three forms of resistance make the ending of Lale's character's life different from that of her four sisters. In addition, the author also finds that one of the main factors for Lale's character to resist is a deep sense of loss and loneliness

patriarki, yaitu: resistensi mental, verbal dan tindakan. Ketiga bentuk resistensi tersebut
membuat akhir cerita kehidupan tokoh Lale berbeda dari keempat saudaranya. Selain itu,
penulis juga menemukan bahwa salah satu faktor utama tokoh Lale melakukan resistensi

Convergence and data dependence results of the nonlinear Volterra integral equation by the Picard's three step iteration
Picard's three step iteration algorithm was one of the iteration algorithms that was recently shown to be faster than some other iterative algorithms in the existing literature. The purpose of this paper was to study using this iteration algorithm for the solution of nonlinear Volterra integral equations. It was investigated that the sequences obtained from this iteration algorithm converged to the solution of nonlinear Volterra integral equations. Moreover, data dependence was obtained for nonlinear Volterra integral equations. An example was given that confirmed the applicability of the newly proven theorems. © 2024 the Author(s), licensee AIMS Press
A new historical perspective on ömer seyfettin's Primo Türk Çocuğu and Beyaz Lale stories
Yüksek LisansBu çalışma Yeni Tarihselcilik Eleştirel Kuramı çerçevesinde Ömer Seyfettin'in Primo Türk Çocuğu ve Beyaz Lale adlı hikâyelerini incelemekte; bu kurgu metinlerin dönemin ideolojisi adına birçok göstergeyi içerisinde barındırdığını iddia etmektedir. Yeni Tarihselcilik Eleştirel Kuramı'na dayanarak Ömer Seyfettin'in eserlerini yazdığı tarihsel bağlamın onun üretimini doğrudan etkilediğini savunan bu tezde, Osmanlı modernleşmesinin süreç içerisindeki gelişimi ve dönüşümü çerçevesinde yazarın kendisini nerede konumlandırdığı ve bu değişim ve dönüşümleri eserlerinde ne şekilde aktardığı çözümlenmeye çalışılacaktır. Son olarak ise Yeni Tarihselcilik Eleştirel Kuramı bağlamında yorumlanan bu hikâyelerin bugün yeniden hatırlanmasının anlamı üzerinde durulacaktır.This study examines the stories of Ömer Seyfettin, Primo Türk Çocuğu and Beyaz Lale, within the framework of New Historicism Critical Theory. It claims that these fictional texts, which caused controversy even during the period they were written, contained many indicators in the name of the ideology of the period. On the basis of the New Historicism Critical Theory, this thesis arguing that the historical context in which Ömer Seyfettin wrote his works directly affected his productions, seeks to analyze where the author positioned himself during the development and transformation of the Ottoman modernization and how he transferred these changes and transformations in his works. Finally, this thesis focuses on the meaning of recalling these stories, which are interpreted with a critical approach in the context of the New Historicism Critical Theory
Concepts of Authorship in Pre-Modern Arabic Texts
The objective of the contributions presented in this volume is the investigation of authorship in pre-modern Arabic texts. From several angles and different perspectives it has been asked how the author in his various facets and aspects, and as a principle of organization and guidance, can be traced and understood. The author can be perceived as a historical individual, a singular genius, or a gifted anthologist; he can claim authority or pass it on to others. The author can be invisible, applying textual strategies for steering the reader’s perception and interpretation, trying to leave the reader oblivious to his authorial interference. Although authors can be proud to present their knowledge and their opinions, they can also be reluctant to show themselves and can even disclaim their responsibility, depending on the issue at hand. The contributions gathered in this volume provide a fresh view on the multilayered nature of authorial functions and open up new perspectives on our understanding of the rich and diverse pre-modern Arabic culture and literature
